I've been here a few times now. This time around we got to try more things and overall I was happy with the quality of the food. As a Malaysian I'm always looking for a decent Malaysian place. Of all the things I got here were the standout dishes: Beef Rendang (this was recommended as well when we asked). It's tender and cooked well and the flavors are there. The spice level is good and I appreciated the level of attention to make sure it's authentic in flavor and spice as well. Some places try to bring the spice level down to make it more palatable but this one felt right.Kangkung. This is a very common vegetable in Malaysia it's also called water spinach. Char Kuey Teow. I love this dish in general and it's really hard to get it right but this felt like a decent attempt. For me, decent is good enough and is what it's supposed to be. Given the lack of options for Malaysian food around me, I cannot afford to be picky so this hits the spot! Basil fried rice. A Thai dish but nonetheless very good. It had good flavor. The crispy vegetable egg rolls were pretty standard. We got some Vietnamese spring rolls too which were fine. The roti canai is alright. I've had better ones, the curry that comes with it is quite mild. The chicken satay is also just okay. I think the marinade is not bad but could be more robust in flavor. The peanut sauce tastes fine but I found the texture too gummy and paste like. The most disappointing dish to me was actually the Nasi Lemak. The rice didn't have too much coconut flavor and it was also a bit sticky so I didn't enjoy the consistency. The fried chicken that came with it is a nice addition but it also lacks in flavor. I was expecting Malaysian sambal but they used Sambal Terasi which is more Indonesian. Just a personal preference but I wanted authentic and for me without that Sambal, it's not really nasi lemak. Overall I enjoyed it despite some dishes that missed the mark. Will be back again to try more things!! The service is also good and servers are friendly.

Jaya Asian Grill in Glendale, Colorado, blew me away with their beef rendang. My friend was visiting from out of town and suggested this restaurant. I was excited to dine here. The flavors were phenomenal--tender meat infused with delicious spices. The service was excellent, and the restaurant has a great vibe. Highly recommend checking them out for an amazing Asian dining experience! I am so happy to support this business. I am grateful for the culinary experience I had and I will be back!

Hidden gem! Really good fried eggplant, chicken satay and canai roti- their Singapore curry noodles were also bomb. We also got some egg rolls and hiyanese chicken and that was pretty good too. Service was excellent and our server was the sweetest and so prompt. I highly recommend this place for a meal. I wish I lived close by and I would do take outs from this place all the time.

My friends and I had such a good experience here. There was no wait on a Friday night and service was extremely prompt and friendly. One of the owners waited on our table and was so knowledgeable and clearly passionate about Malaysian and Singaporean food. I had the lo mein and it was like no other lo mein I've ever had. It was clearly made to order and full of vegetables as well as an amazing, ever so slightly spicy sauce (they can do spice on a scale from 1 to 10). We were absolutely blown away by Jaya.

Hidden Gem, so in love with this spot! I've been getting my hair done at the salon nearby for the last 4 years, have always wanted to try this place but I never had time. Today, that changed and it's the best meal I've had in a long time! Service was amazing, I plan on coming back :)

Absolutely delicious Indonesian/malay and Chinese fusion cuisine! These dishes are hard to find and executed flawlessly here! The roti was fresh and crispy, Nasi lemak has all the trimmings and perfectly juicy inside, crispy outside chicken. The beef rendang is in a rich coconut curry - definitely get it with coconut rice! The nicest staff and great atmosphere- all Denver foodies need to check them out.

Excellent variety of southeast Asian food. We had Hainan chicken, really delicious and not spicy. Beef Rendang was a delicious surprise, mildly spicy in an interesting sauce. My favorite was the Bee Hoon Goreng, which we had with shrimp. A really comfortable setting, too. I highly recommend this excellent family restaurant.

They had crab today so we ordered Singapore chili crab, salt and pepper crab and garlic butter crab. The best was the salt and pepper crab. The seasoning was spot on. I had some of the other two but finished the salt and pepper. They didn't want to wait all night for me to eat so I packed up the other two leftovers. They had beef rendang and char koay teow. Finished those up right away. I eat slow: oh well. It was a treat and not inexpensive.

This is a family owned small business that specializes in singapore, malaysian, and indonesian food. The restaurant has apparently been around for about 20 years and is the last restaurant in CO that specializes in these cuisines -- or so our waiter (the owner's son) says. I rarely give 5 star reviews, but what really impressed me was our service experience here. Our waiter (aka owner's son) was such a joy to talk too -- he gave us the whole rundown history of the restaurant, talked us through the menu including how they make the food, and even answered our questions about the set-up of the restaurant with such knowledge and grace. He was so enthusiastic and passionate, which I feel like is pretty rare these days in the people I interact with in restaurants. The interior is definitely a bit of a blast to the past, but the food was incredible. We got the water spinach, hainanese chicken, and XO seafood dishes along with the coconut rice. The food was so tasty with an abundance of flavors that explode in the mouth. The hainanese chicken was well made and both refreshing and filling. The water spinach was such an interesting flavor profile made with home made shrimp paste -- i've never had sauteed asian water spinach quite like this. I loved every dish, but the coconut rice was truly incredible as well. I kind of like a softer rice, so this was perfect for me and apparently made with pulp that's hand carved out from young coconuts by the family in the back. Overall, great food and great service.

Pretty casual Asian restaurant with a unique downstairs vibe. Very delicious food and excellent service. Highly recommend this restaurant. We got steamed white fish, hainannese chicken, and kangkung. All were very delicious and we'll defenitely return! The restaurant is downstairs after entering and no elevator - not wheel chair accessible.
