Owner was rude the burgers aren't all that, there is. McDonald's 1 min away I recommend going there for food.

Let's talk about being completely satisfied with everything! Yes, everything. Your cooks are excellent. After the Liberty Faux Days, we decided to try you out and so glad we did.

The food and variety of choices is awesome. I'd recommend 10 out of 10 times for a good burger!

We were passing through town and decided to try this place. That Lil' Diablo burger is now in my Top 10 Best burgers I've ever had in my 46 years. Their jalapeño bun is amazing, and the burger is not very spicy.. just has amazing texture, taste and a lil' kick. Fries were terrific as well.. wedges with a little crinkle cut.

The same woman is at the register each of the 4-5 times I have been there. Today I asked for a fish basket which was clearly printed on the menu. The lady said fish or shrimp? I told her I wanted fish. Next question was what kind? I asked what she meant. She pointed at the sign and I repeated fish. I asked what kind of fish did she have and she repeated, fish or shrimp. Next was I asked could I have a baked potato. She said no. I asked why not and she said they don't substitute, I told her I never asked for a substitute, I asked for a fish basket and baked potato. She said they were all out. Not a very friendly person. EVER!!

2016: Used to eat here often. Now they're always understaffed. Slow to prepare food. Disallowed smoking at the bar inside (which has allowed it for 10 years!). Started charging for tomatos on burgers. Didn't know Hxxxxx ran a hamburger restaurant. Update 2023: lived in this town for over 20 years, used to eat here monthly or more frequently. The only hostess/cashier that has ever worked there other than the owner has gotten progressively more rude with time. The wait times have grown despite crowds getting smaller and smaller. We still visit about two-three times a year hoping for an improvement. Shame such a beautiful building and location and what used to be such a wonderful restaurant has fallen into such irreparable repute.

They have good food but the service is awful and the owner doesn't care and defends it. A Facebook post was made on a local page about Jasmine who works the front and has the crappiest attitude and treats customers extremely rudely. More than twenty people agreed. Searching through their Facebook page numerous people left reviews (overa long course of time) stating the exact same thing in regards to Jasmine and Jasmine had the audacity go emoji laugh react to each comment complaining about her. So when the post was made on the local Facebook page with many people in agreement, instead of the owner apologizing, she first claimed she wasn't aware of the situation. But her responses to the reviews on her Facebook page and then here, contradicted that and someone pointed that out to her. She then messaged the page admin and asked them to remove the post altogether, to which admin refused.Due to the way the owner handled this situation, it is obvious there is no customer loyalty at this establishment so we will not be back. We have been eating there at least once a month for over 8 years. Other long time customers have stated that they will no longer be dining here because of this situation also. It's really such a shame, and it all started because of one employee who should have been fired 2 years and 50 complaints ago.

We have been long customers of Jax (over 7 years of coming!!), to the point where we drive over an hour and half to get these burgers. Today was mind blowing, and not in a good way. The food here 10/10 stars!! Decently priced, fries on point love all of it. Today when we walked in (after a very long drive from Waco) we were greeted with waiting 5 minutes before someone acknowledged us, to tell us that someone will be right with us. Okay that's fine! We waited some more, someone different came up and said that someone will be right with us, again fine! Finally someone walked out to take our order, but at that point I had to use the restroom (being 9 months pregnant does that to you) so I told my husband what food I wanted and walked away before he started ordering. When I came back I saw he had gotten us two water cups. I decided to get some sweet tea instead of water, since my husband didn't know I wanted the sweet tea and there was NO ONE AROUND to make the correction. Anyways we are finishing eating cleaning up our table when the waitress (owner?) who took our order stopped by to collect our plates rudely said 'When you get up you can come to the front counter and I'll charge you for the two drinks y'all have been drinking' again RUDELY. We said no problem as she's walking away. As we are walking up to the counter she started typing in the drink I told her 'It's just one cup, my husband has only been drinking water' a very snippy 'okay' as a reply. Then she turns and looks at us expectingly, we ask her how much it is and she said '$3.50' and we were both shocked at that amount for tea! We gave her a $5 and told her to keep it, when I asked for a big cup since we paid for it. She instead said I can keep filling up my little water cup because I was stealing the tea. And that I had no problem stealing from them. But again NO ONE WAS AROUND for me to get the correct cup. When I asked again for the big cup saying that I paid for it and at least let me get it she turned her back to me and decided to ignore me while saying 'You're lucky I didn't call the cops on you for stealing!' Ironically my husband tiped $3.50 on the original check, even though there's no reason to tip because there's no waitress/waiter waiting on us.Wow. Just wow Jax's. Was this really worth losing two life long customers of your business? $3.50 that we gladly paid for! Just shocked at this service and attitude!

Got the Hamburger steak and fries, along with a dinner salad.All was delicious!! Love the atmosphere and the attitude of all working there! Loved it!!

A little on the pricey side & awkward parking situation but great food, Amazing staff.
