I needed a location to meet with a colleague and what is a meeting without amazing coffee? During my search Java Lord popped up and offered hours that fit my needs. As such, let's talk about my recent visit. The location sits towards the rear of the high traffic area which is perfect for finding parking. Upon walking in there is an assortment of treats that capture your eye. The ambiance of the location is super chill and artsy. The paintings on the wall are not only amazing but they are for sale as well. Talk about a win win!Being this was my first time I wanted to go outside of my usual coffee order. I decided on the Coffee of the Day with a shot of Almond and Vanilla. The Murder Blend has a smooth Coffee taste. This is the perfect blend for someone (such as myself) who enjoys the authentic taste of coffee. As I love a good Dark Blend. This Medium/Dark Blend allows the roast flavor to be very evident. The flavor profile has a heavy body, and the flavor is prominent but isn't spicy and has the authentic bittersweet tang, subtle chocolate and caramel flavors, with hints of smokiness. Yeah! As you can see, this is a perfect coffee for any moment of the day... The flavor shots are strong which pair well with the heaviness of the Murder Blend. The young lady who helped me originally was nice, however, as she wasn't as much of a coffee drinker I was unable to get her take on any of the other blends. As such, I will be back again to be surprised by the daily blend. Overall, this location is great for a break from a busy day, a chance to meet with friends, or even a quick business conversation. All of the aforementioned will fit in this location with any blend of coffee.

One of the only coffee shops open late in the Atlanta area! It does double as a bar though so I would only recommend it for studying if you can multitask with loud music playing in the background. The coffee tastes okay but they have a long list of flavored syrups to choose from.

Java Lords is a great option for a quick coffee, or even a drink, in a hip, laid-back atmosphere in Little Five Points. We stopped in on a lazy Sunday morning, and were pleased by the grungy, 90's vibe that reminded me of cafes I used to frequent in Austin. She had a nicely-spiced iced chai and I went for a double cappuccino. Both were simple but well done. The only downside to this spot was that food options were a little lacking, but we didn't mind, as this place is really beverage-centric anyway. They even have a full bar, and I could see myself stopping by for a mixed drink before a show post-COVID.

I came here late on a Friday night after trying to snag some free art in l5p. I came in here (empty handed with no art) thinking it was just a coffee shop, but I like that there is a lounge and this place offers wine, beer and a full bar along with all of your coffee and espresso needs. People say that this place is grungy and full of hipsters and punks - honestly nothing bothered me (as an emo kid that grew up). The servers were nice and made up my double espresso quickly. There is also an outside patio. I'd come back to study and enjoy some more of their coffee. This place seemed really chill.

This coffee shop was such a great stop! It is a small intimate space and a good place to sit and chill while to sip on your drinks. They also have wine and beer available. I had a dirty chai and really enjoyed it! The Batista was super friendly.

Very interesting place. Atmosphere is very hipster and gothic. Good coffee though. It was a good spot to hang out while waiting on my son's rehearsal next door.

Cool place. Open very late and allows opportunity to work while having a drink or two. Wifi is horrid, but its probably more of an excuse to drink than do work. Staff are friendly. Seating could be more welcoming, it is not the most cozy place, nor are the outlets easily accessible.

Thanks you guys so much for the save last night during the play "Conceived". I had an MRI earlier that day that left me with a headache in the worst way. You both were so cool& had such a good vibe I would definitely come back. Your double expresso hit the spot, the shot of Jack Daniels on the side didn't hurt either #Kudos #Painkillers
