I don't know Durham that well so I was looking for a place to have lunch before a visit to the hospital. The shopping center was close by and had this restaurant and a couple of others including Jersey Mike's. I chose this place over Jersey Mike's because I wanted something a little different than a sandwich. Their hibachi lunch specials included a drink for less than $10 I believe, for chicken and beef options. Of course my selection was shrimp so it was a little bit more and it did not include the drink, but that was OK. I love the fact that you serve yourself on the sauces, and that they didn't take very long to cook the food. I also like the fact that I could swap out the onions for extra broccoli at no additional cost. The people were very nice and I had an encounter that I didn't expect so it made the food that much better. This place may be my go to the next time I visit the area.

I should have looked at Yelp before ordering. The service was fine. Everyone working the front seemed to be in their late teens. No complaints. Young man answered the questions I had about the food. The food was absolutely not worth returning for another visit. I ordered one hibachi steak and one hibachi chicken and shrimp. This was the driest steak I have EVER had. You can see in the picture how dry it is. Without sauce it would have been inedible. The shrimp did not taste fresh and I could not eat more than a few bites of it. The rice was fine; the only decent things in the plates. Portions are small. I usually don't eat an entire hibachi plate at once. The plates look bulky only because there is a thick later of onions and zucchini under the protein. This is among the worst hibachi spots in the area.

Not bad, had the chicken & shrimp and it was pretty tasty; mainly if satisfied my hibachi craving. I could tell the shrimp weren't the freshest (likely frozen) and I wish I had more zucchini with the onions. We have a similar chain in South Carolina (Tokyo Grill) and this was not quite as good but it didn't take long for them to prepare my takeout order and the portion size was generous. Will likely be back!

This place is truly the best! Definitely going to be my new favorite hibachi place ! Super fast too! The sushi is very good and the steak and shrimp hibachi is a must try ! Make sure to get the white sauce with it!

This place is just ok, nothing special. I walked in and ordered my food to go. My order was ready literally within 3 minutes or less. I ordered the Hibachi Chicken and Vegetables. After grabbing my Togo bag, I put some ginger and a dab of their pepper sauce (they don't offer lids on their condiment cups) on my food and went to sit in my car to eat. First bite and my veggies were cold. I was immediately disappointed. The rice was delicious and piping hot, but the chicken and veggies we're cold, I'm sure that's why my order was ready in less than 3 minutes. If my veggies were hot, or even warm, I would've given them 4 stars.Service here was fast, the cashier wasn't overly friendly, but she served her purpose and wasn't rude at all. The inside of the store was ok, again, nothing special.

Our food was hot and delicious- the prices are awesome. I was impressed with how CLEAN the restaurant is- the floor and tables were perfect. I got take out but had I known, I would have brought my family inside!

Customer service sucks! They are terrible! When you walk in it smells horrible like old blood when meat been sitting out too long! The manager was giving me a hard time about my order and only offered to give me veggies for an order that was not done correctly! He was not trying to give me any refund pretty much about my order! The one in chapel Hill is wayyyyy better!

Food was ok to good. No real complaints but, kinda bland and uneventful. I ate it all and had no problems. There was way too many onions and hardly any zucchini. I did get my food very quickly and the order was exactly what I ordered.

Always great tasting! Quick and high quality! When you're looking for hibachi, but don't want to spend 2+hrs at a restaurant, this is your place to go.

The steak in the hibachi RIBEYE steak was like chewing gum and could not be swallowed. Every piece had cartilage and gristle. Hot wings are disgusting and not hot. Cashier didnt know anything about the menu. Go to any of the other surrounding restaurant and get some palatable dood!
