Wasn't impressed. Late Saturday night decision. Couldn't find parking and discovered an open lot next door. we sit there contemplating.G goes in to order. figured since it was late around 10 pm and they were hosting 2 parties, the kitchen would be closed to public. well, as expected they did not have rice and peas. they had yellow rice and steamed white rice. and some of the veggie choices were non-existent. no Mac & cheese.what?!?ordered brown stew. 2 curry chicken and jerk chicken all with cabbage. bill was $70. oh they added 10% to the bill. I don't like adding gratuity automatically. also if am establishment has hours until 1am. food sloppy (menu) should be available after 10 or 11pm.food was doable because we were hungry. so maybe this was a bad night. this was a 1 and done.

Second time going to this location. I Was amazed at how the food tasted different this time. Rice and peas were fresh, the cabbage seemed to have been missing seasoning, and the brown stew chicken was alright but the portion was smaller than my first time. I was disappointed when I opened my container and noticed I was missing plantains. First time trying a dessert and I went with the buttermilk coconut pie it was soso I may try one of the homemade desserts next time.

I love Jamrock and have been coming here for years. Food is consistently yummy and the portions don't disappoint. Do not leave without a couple of beef patties....you may have to come back bc they run out. White meat jerk chicken??!!! All day!!! Yes!! Order a lot of this! A whole lot. I usually get a side of this and wish I had gotten more. Curry chicken is very good, I like to get extra gravy. My latest discovery???! The fried chicken wings at lunch....I had to restrain myself from driving back to get more. That tasty!! Go here. Oh yeah. On my last visit they had opened a new section as a bar so go here for food AND dranks now. Yay!

Can't continue to give them my business. They are hit or miss and lately it's been miss miss miss! I paid over $20 for them to give me one piece of chicken they chopped into pieces (not a large portion) and dried up hard rice. The customer service is non existent cause they act like they don't even want you to come in there with the rude interactions. The food used to be worth ignoring that but lately it's been a heavy hell no. Won't be back, they got me for the last time!

This is one of the few places in Atlanta that have real authentic, true jerk chicken. It was fully roasted full of flavor and just the right amount of space. Liked the seating option outside. Will be back to try their breakfast.

I love this restaurant. However, it stinks like diarrhea and moth balls. The bathrooms vent into the serving area. This is unacceptable. Loud blasting religious music every Sunday is very disrespectful to the general public. Service is hit or miss. They were literally burning garbage in the parking lot.

This is one of my go to places for grilled jerk chicken because they serve white meat chicken the cabbages are a hit or miss just depends on who's cooking them I guess the customer service is always pleasant and the vibe is Jamacia Mon its a bit pricey but so is everything today my chicken was surprisingly bit on the dry side but still good the BBQ sauce is spicy like i like it the rice an peas are always good. If you are in the area its well worth a try

Hands down one of my favorite places to get Jamaican food, I'm even close to going right now lol.Let's get into it!Location and Parking They have a few locations, the one closest to me is the one on Metropolitan Pkwy. They do have a parking lot, but it can get pretty tight in there depending on what time you're going because they can get a rush faster than you can decide what you want to eat.Venue and AtmosphereThe venue is small and just mostly for you to order in. There are tables outside if you can't wait to dig into your food. There is 1-2 people behind the counter who make your plates for you after you tell them what meat and sides you want. Food and drinks My favorite thing to get here is the large oxtail with extra gravy with rice and peas and cabbage with a side of cocoa bread. The oxtails are tender, perfectly seasoned, and the gravy is amazing. I've also had the jerk chicken as it has just the right amount of spicy and is tender as well. The portions are generous, and I also have leftovers. They also have sodas and homemade lemonade and desserts, but I haven't tried those yet.Verdict This review has definitely made up my mind that I will in fact be going here tomorrow lol. If you need a quick but great Jamaican fix, stop in to see them.Until next time!

I've driven past Jam Rock many times, and when I finally decided to go in I wasn't disappointed. Location and Parking Jam Rock is located on a busy street with a small parking lot next door. Venue and Atmosphere The inside is a simple "order at the counter" situation, and there is a small patio outside with a DJ booth. Food and Beverages My jerk chicken was juicy and flavorful, and the cocoa bread was a nice touch. They were out of rice and peas when I got there so I opted for Mac and cheese and cabbage. Both were tasty; the mac and cheese was rich and creamy. Service Service was prompt and the workers were friendly. Verdict If you're craving good Jamaican food, Jam Rock is an excellent choice.

Used to be a place I frequent and I will not any longer. They quite literally never have curry goat. I try calling ahead to see however they never answer the phone. They will let you sit in the line for 45 minutes just for you to get to the front and be told nothing is available. They never announce what they are out of they just let the people waste their time and then by that time you feel like you've wasted your time if you leave with nothing. I'll never be back.
