There was a tornado warning on my way home from Spring, Texas so I decided to exit I 45 and take shelter and eat. The chips weren't greasy at all and the salsa was fresh. I ordered a hibiscus agua fresca. I was impressed in that it wasn't overly sweet. I ordered spinach enchiladas with green sauce. They were excellent. They weren't smothered with cream nor cheese. They're topped with queso fresco. The rice and refried beans were great too. I'm taking off two stars because the ladies' bathroom needed servicing and I mentioned it to my waiter. This place is out of my way but unless they get their act together with the bathroom, I'd take my food to go.

the charro beans and salsa were the highlight of lunchthe salsa is very mild and very goodi actually prefer more spicy, the green sauce was a 'medium' as green salsas go imo, and was outstandingthe cheese enchiladas were so sothe decor is blah and the prices were great at $10/plate for lunch

I think this place use to be an Arandas. Plenty of parking and tables. Lots of staff.Seat yourself and we were greeted right away and order taken quickly.Caldo De Res...they do not skimp on the ingredients. Plenty of meat too...great flavor and I asked for it to be hot and it was, love hot soup that stays hot while you eat and doesn't get cold right away.This was perfect on such a cold rainy day in Htown...we will be back for sure...

It's okay. Food was average. Ambient was not that great. It was so freaking quiet and I could hear people's conversations. Queso was average, michelada was good though. The salsa is tomato based so not a lot of flavor. I wouldn't go back.

Jaliscos es la mejor comida mexicana de houston,El restaurante es limpio,barato,y tranquilo,el servicio es bueno.Pedi una parillada con tortillas de maiz y no tuve que esperarmucho.La comida estuvo bueno y bien cocinado.Recomiendo que ir temprano en el dia.

I placed an order for the chicken enchiladas which I believe are usually made with chicken breast and corn tortillas??. I was never given the option of corn or flour. They gave me flour with chicken SKIN!! A few pieces of ckn but for the most part HUGE NASTY PIECES OF BOILED CKN SKIN! The flour tortillas were hard & tough as rubber. I wouldn't feed this CRAP to dogs! Never ever again! I was furious because I paid my $$ for that S*** but I kept my cool And decided it wasn't worth my time or energy to take that mess back for a full refund. But I will tell everyone I know and warn you the reader of how disgusting of an experience I had at JALISCOS!

First and last time I will ever set foot in this place. The waitress looked like she couldn't be bothered for shit. Burnt out food and the most disgusting of all was the nasty hair that one of our plates had. Manager couldn't be bothered and didn't even dock it from the bill. I really don't recommend this place, not even to the person I would consider an enemy. I don't even wanna give them a star with how bad my experience was.
