CRAP. Utterly inedible food. A breakfast place that doesn't know how to cook creamed chipped beef on toast!?! You can SEE the clumps of flour. This is rancid dog food. Do Not Eat Here unless you want to wait One hour and 30 mins for dog food. Scratch that - wouldn't serve it to my dog! When calling them to talk to the manager she didn't even get on the phone. The only reason this place is getting 2 stars is because of the home fries. They were delicious. However, everything else was overpriced and unbelievable. I had fried fish which had no seasoning, it taste very bland. Also, my sandwich was on white bread with one egg and 2 slices of very tiny bacon. The sandwich was so pathetic looking I can't believe I didn't take a picture of it and it had the nerve to cost $5. You have to purchase everything separately, I paid $0.75 each for peppers and onions. I would certainly never come to this establishment again. I am still on the search for a decent takeout breakfast place in the southwest area for those lazy weekend mornings.

My family and I wanted a nice breakfast on a Saturday morning. The food here is subpar, mediocre if you will, especially if you ordered homefries. I don't know how you could make potatoes taste dry, but they did it, miraculously. The overall flavor was just not good. It lacked seasoning like salt, pepper, maybe garlic or onion powder. I understand I can just put those things on myself, but when it's something that I paid for, I just think it should be done already. At least put salt and pepper. However, the French toast was ok, and I would eat the sausages again. My sister liked the eggs. I also have eggs but my appetite is ruined from the disgusting homefries at the moment. I just think there needs to be a different chef in the kitchen. I don't mean to come off as a troll but the food was just awful.

I think Jake's place could stand for some improvement in their culinary skills. I ordered a breakfast platter that consisted of home fries and cream chipped beef. The potatoes were burned and had a sour taste to them. The cream chipped beef had a thick pasty white mixture.
