Jaffa - Hallandale Beach

Came for a Sunday brunch with friends and I cannot believe this restaurant had no patrons! The food was unbelievably good. Set up as a brunch buffet, there was so much variety that could meet anyone's craving or dietary restrictions. My favorite items were the salmon and shakshuka (omg) but everything was so delicious.The owner checked in on us regularly. And the decor was super homey and pretty. We've been recommending the restaurant to friends and we'll definitely be back.

My friend took me here for my birthday and it was soo amazing!!! One of the best Mediterranean/Israeli places I've been to. The service was not bad either.It was priced a bit higher so it's probably not a place I would go to consistently but I would consider it for an occasion. We ordered the Israeli salad, hummus platter and smoked salmon pizza. There was a lot of bread etc, so I felt pretty full afterwards. Still a great choice & delicious option!

Unbelievable authentic restaurant here in Soflo; may be my new favorite in Broward period. I've been here twice since opening and everything is outstanding. The service is amazing, quick, attentive, and friendly. The vibes are 100%, with great decor and energy. The owner/chef was there making sure everything runs smoothly, and is just as friendly. The food is insane!! We ordered multiple starters and nothing was less than perfect. The Israel Mezza gave us a small variety of starters: hummus, homemade pickles, bread, and salads. Everything was flavorful and fresh. We also had the Brussels sprouts and eggplant (not pictured) and they were just as good. The main courses were even better. The chicken tajine and some of the best couscous I've ever had. You can tell it's 100% homemade. The chicken was tender and was packed with flavor too. The harrais was juicy and had a hint of sweetness. Not pictured are the lamb tajine, salmon, and kofta kebab that held up to the other mains too. The desserts here are all dairy free and you can't even tell! We had the dessert of the day, a banana bread pudding, and it was one of the best I've ever had. Nothing was lacking! TLDR: you have to come here for authentic middle eastern food with excellent vibes and energy.

We had a really nice dinner here. I made reservations very easily and we were sat right away when we arrived. The decor of the restaurant is really nice! Lots of Israeli themed art work and decor. The front outdoor patio area is really nice if you're looking for laid back dinning. For appetizers we ordered the hummus, falafel and Israeli salad. All tasted awesome. For mains we got kabobs, falafel and a kids schnitzel and fries. All of the food came on time and tasted really good. Overall great dinning experience, but I do agree with some of the other reviews that it is pricey.

So so sooo good! Pricey but worth every dollar. Short rib tagine is always my favorite. Highly recommend going with a bigger group so you can try more items, everything is delicious and big portions!

While the food at Jaffa is undeniably delicious, its high prices are a bit bothersome. When you're paying $29 for a burger and a whopping $79 for three lamb chops, you'd expect more than wobbly chairs and occasional inattentiveness from the server. There were instances when our server took her time, leaving us with empty water glasses (which, by the way, is not free). Even though the restaurant wasn't particularly busy, our server seemed more engrossed in conversation with another employee. Such lackluster service might be tolerable at a budget-friendly eatery, but not here (especially considering a kids' chicken schnitzel goes for $23). You can find a superior burger at Pastis for only $27, accompanied by impeccable service. Alternatively, at Avra on Collins in Sunny Isles, you'll encounter Mediterranean cuisine similarly priced but far surpassing this restaurant in quality. I'm quite particular about restaurant service; after all, I'm spending my hard-earned money. I want to feel welcomed and appreciated by both the establishment and its staff, and regrettably, I didn't experience this at Jaffa. Nonetheless, it's worth noting that the food itself was still top-notch, which counts for something.

Wow wow wow. Delicious! My mouth feels orgasmic! Best falafel I have ever had. The humus is perfect, eggplant carpaccio, beets with vegan labneh!!! All the mezes!!! Yum! Fish kofta kebab and the chicken Tagine. We're in love and our taste buds are tingling. Highly recommend the drive to find this kosher Israeli cuisine!

If you are looking for a great middle eastern cuisine made with high qualities ingredientes then this is your place, Highly recommended

Had Father's Day Brunch....absolutely delicious, everything was perfect, and super reasonable. Don't miss it!
