Jacinto City Cafe

We were in the area looking for a place to have brunch and found this cafe. Upon entering there we when did it we should sit ourselves or wait. Someone came along after to sit us. They were just finishing with a small buffet style breakfast on the far end of the cafe. We had just missed it.Our waitress was helpful and there was a descent amount of people sitting having breakfast. We had coffees, pancakes and eggs. The food didn't take too long and the food came out at a good temperature. The bathrooms were clean and the staff was nice.

Good breakfast. If you're tired of the chain restaurants try this place. The service was great to top it off.

Loved this neighborhood cafe! Service was amazing. Home style breakfast was delicious. And price was great. Ambiance felt like home.

From the street it doesn't look like much, situated next to a market. Looking at the reviews, and being nearby, I decided to give them a shot. After all, it's good to try new (to me) restaurants.The food was fresh, hot, and did the job. It's a quick order diner type place, with table & counter service. It was breakfast for me, with a hot cup of fresh ground coffee. As for the service, I'll just a assume she's young and new. I only had a spoon for coffee and when my meal was placed before me, she asked if I wanted silverware.... Bewildered cause how would you eat an omelette. Her remarks: "some people might eat with their hands". Time went on, my glass sat empty as she stood across from me and never thought to ask or just fill it. I ended up asking another person for more beverage. I noticed she had another waitress looking over her orders on the ticket. So, either the trainer isn't good or the trainee or both. None the less, I'd come back and trust the service issue is just a fluke.

I was having my car being worked on close by early in the morning. The breakfast is decent, it's a nice little place. Coffee wasn't bad. The staff was super nice and didn't question or bother me while I got some work done waiting for my car to finish. Would come back again next time if I was in the area.

Great service and attitudes from all the staff. Very friendly. Great hot coffee with fresh hot foods. Plenty of choices are available for breakfast and or lunch. Large variety of steam table items available at a decent price. Many nearby employees come eat here. Ambience is very casual. You can tell who all the regulars are and it seems everyone knows each other. Nobody is rushed and you can enjoy your meal.I recommend trying it out.

Just googled breakfast while visiting the east side and this place pops up with 4.6 on google..4.5 on yelp so had to stop. The outside will not bring you inside...but go in!!! The welcome coming in and the service was amazing!!! She explained the menu items and you can tell she loves her job. The food Plates are huge!!! Our favorites were the pancake, omelet and chicken fried chicken. Definitely have to return to this hidden gem!

I grew up not far from this restaurant but never knew about it until a couple of years ago when I met a relative there for breakfast. Since then, this place has become a regular meeting spot for my family. It's family owned and has been in business for more than 30 or 40 years - something like that. I like the old-fashioned feel of the place - it's hard to find that these days with all of the chain restaurants. The food and service are always good.

The first time I went the biscuits and the service were both great but the second time the service was horrible. The food did not taste the same and the restaurant was relatively empty with no need for such bad service. Won't be going back.

My favorite spot and I always enjoy the waiters. The food is always spectacular and the cafe itself just always give me a feel good feeling
