J’aime French Café

What a cute little place! I just stumbled onto this spot. I was trying to drop my wife off and then park. Of course there was no parking anywhere. Finally I found a spot to call my own in front of this place. I saw some tables out front or honestly wouldn't have even known it was there. Even with the little sign. They serve La Colombe and baked goods. I had the barista pick for me so I don't know what I got but she said they were fresh baked. It had spinach and cheese and was delicious. I got the draft latte and a regular coffee. Pretty inexpensive. If I lived anywhere near here I'd love to make this my little shop.

I came here yesterday and loved it . Great pastry and coffee! So I came back today,hoping to enjoy a pastry in the air conditioning like yesterday. Unfortunately there was a woman conducting unending business meetings on the phone in there while ignoring her toddler. Really annoying. Obviously this was not the fault of the café, but since it's such a small space I was thinking you could have a "no phone calls" policy.

Sometimes when you come to Center City for a few hours on your day off, you want a nice little treat. I was in the mood for some coffee and pastries. A quick search led me to the charming J'aime French Cafe.I ordered a cappuccino and a chocolate hazelnut croissant and dined inside the cafe. The cappuccino was so foamy and delicious. The chocolate hazelnut croissant was so flaky and tasty. The chocolate and hazelnut blended nicely together in this confectionery treat.The ambiance is relaxing and pleasant with some chill music playing in the background. The staff were super friendly and service was quick and effortless.If you find yourself near City Hall and want a nice treat and a comfy place to enjoy it in, I recommend coming here to visit.Trés fabuleaux!!

I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon, no one in line so I took my time looking at allll of the delicious pastry options. I ended up getting a large iced rose latte and the spinach and feta pastry - both were SO delicious. It's a cute small place with 2 bar seats inside and a few seats outside so I grabbed mine to go. I'll definitely be back - they do have a rewards card program so make sure to grab a punch card- every 10th food item you buy, you get one free!

Came in on a Sunday around 10am. The cafe is ADORABLE! Brightly lit, clean, gold accents. The pastry case is beautiful. They were well-stocked with a variety of goods. I ordered a plain latte and two mini choquettes. My order came out quickly. The service was super friendly and the latte and mini baked goods were amazing. The choquettes were light and airy with a sweet little crunch on top. The latte was creamy and had the perfect ratio of espresso to steamed milk with a little latte art. The bathroom was small, unisex, clean, and stocked with toilet paper, soap, and paper towels. If I lived closer, Id be here every day!

Wonderful tiny pastry shop!I got a hazelnut croissant which paired nicely with my decaf latte. The hazelnut croissant is great--flaky exterior and soft interior, and the crunchy topping and filling were delicious. I loved the taste and texture of the chocolate hazelnut spread + ground hazelnuts filling.The croissant was very satisfying, but I was even happier with the feuilleté with spinach and feta. I'm not a huge feta person, but the nice cafe person said it wasn't too spinachy or cheesy. The filling was delicious, and the puff pastry was perfect! I would definitely get this again :)

Very cute cafe but only has outdoor seating. Having said that, it has a great location for sitting outdoors. I only got their draft latte this time, so I can only report on that, but it was a let down. Very nice cold foam but the actual latte was very watered down and bland. This is a newer cafe so I'll be coming back. I'd like to try their coffee without ice next time. I'd also like to try their pastries--they looked very promising.

The new J'aime French Café in Rittenhouse is just as wonderful as the gayborhood location. Technically at 16th and Pine but located at the far end, closer to the intersection of 17th and Pine. It is a welcome addition to the neighborhood!On their opening day I stopped by while walking one of my pups for a midday caffeine boost. I opted for a dirty chai latte with oat milk and was not disappointed. A few days later, a friend came to visit and stopped by for pastries. She brought them home and I couldn't resist eating an entire croissant in under a minute. Perfectly flakey and delicious!The interior is smaller with a few bar style seats inside and tables outside. The space is beautiful and well decorated. I'd be happy to sit and work there for an hour or two! The staff is also lovely!

Such a fantastic experience! I'm so happy that the owner has decided to open a second location. The coffee and pastries are delicious. The decor inside is super cute and the two people behind the counter are friendly and happy to be of service. Will be back soon to try the rest of the menu!
