Izzy's Brooklyn Smokehouse

Had high hopes especially for the prices.However, food came very late, one hour late . When it finally arrived , my lamb ribs were extremely chewy and undercooked as well as very over salted. The other dishes were not great either. Very disappointed. Don't waste your time and money here.

So I've been in town working for a few days, and was looking for some unique Uber eats to order and ran across the spot. I called to ask about the fish sandwich on the menu (that's all it says) and found out it was Branzino, which is my favorite fish. The very nice lady who took my call suggested that I try the fish and chips, so I did! I really don't like coleslaw so I didn't order any. But surprisingly when the fish & chips arrived, it also came with a small little container of coleslaw. So why not try it? If I could tell you between the bites of fish, the coleslaw, and the fries, how many times I said oh my gaaaaaawd to myself, I'd probably use up all 10 fingers at least. The food was so good, so well seasoned, the texture and flavor of the fish was absolutely divine, the batter was good. And also my drinks were cold which is an anomaly most of the time when you're ordering out. Needless to say this is going on my list for places to visit again in the future!

I came in later in the evening and ordered the Pastrami sandwich. I'm a big pastrami fan, and have had pastrami sandwiches all over the world. This, by far, was the greatest pastrami sandwich I have ever had. The bread was delicious, the coleslaw softened the bread just a little bit, the meat was flavorful, soft and perfect. The worst part was when it was over!Service was excellent, staff was kind and friendly. I miss that sandwich so much! Can't wait to go back for some more

Treated our King on Father's Day to a dinner fit for one at Izzy's BBQ in Aventura. This cozy restaurant sits in the heart of Aventura in a quiet plaza with ample parking. Their kosher smoked meats were divine undeniable smoked flavors. We got their famous rib eye, burnt ends and smoked chicken sandwich. All were one runs in our park.

I remembered this location, as it was another restaurant I had visited and reviewed last year January. The location is in a strip mall area with a nice fountain and plenty of outdoor seating available as well.I came here with the family and a big appetite and we initially opted to sit inside. Its a nice large space with the smell of BBQ wood smoke in the air. Unfortunately, while we were there, someone accidentally shut off the vent and it started to smoke up, so they suggested we move outdoors. The weather was OK, so we moved it outdoors. I ordered the Brisket tacos and the Dino Rib, on condition my wife share with me. The wife and kids got a slew of other items as you can see in the photos. The Brisket in the tacos was a bit tough but the Pico de Gallo was delicious, so it wasn't bad. I tasted some of the Pulled beef tacos, which was amazing and then my Dino rib came. OMG it was huge.. like a Dino! The meat literally fell off the bone with the touch of my fork. It did need some salt and BBQ sauce for added flavor, but was incredibly soft and amazing.My wife said the Wings were very good and the kids loved the Dirty Pulled beef fries and the Smoked chicken.. both the platter and the sandwich were really good. Even the guac with their own chips was very good.The Service was very good as well. We only experienced friendly, helpful service that included suggestions and assistance with an allergy that one of my kids have and on what is popular as well as based on how things are made. Awesome experience all around.

Exceptional! Went as a party of 15 for a birthday celebration. This BBQ is off the chart. Alisa our waitress recommend the Dinosaur rib that was spectacular. The grilled cauliflower amazing! The churros with chocolate also exceptional!

Great food. Definitely recommend the brisket and dinosaur rib. The chicken was great as well. The kids menu is not so kid as it's pretty much normal size but the kids loved it.

It's a welcome addition to the area's kosher scene but the food was mediocre. Got a few appetizers and then the dino ribs, burnt ends and the 1/4 chicken as mains. All were slightly on the dry side (especially the burnt ends which didn't have the fat content expected). The burnt-ends were drenched with bbq sauce that was bit overpowering. The Dino rib was cooked fine but seasoning was off. Chicken was average. Service was slow but very nice. Would I come back...maybe. Hopefully they can step up their food game. Potential is definitely there.

Great ambiance and Food is mouth watering idk why people write negative reviews. Great place to bring family as well. Love it & Enjoy it love how Aventura, Fl have this restaurant here.

Great tasting food but very small portions (no way I got 1/2 lb of brisket). Lousy service from a miserable waitress. 35mins+ wait for desert (which they comped for the delay). No burnt ends or pastrami available at 6:30 pm dinner. Spent good money and we all left hungry. Won't return to this location in Aventura (Miami). Save your money, there are plenty of other great restaurants in the area. Izzy's Manhattan location is much better all the way around!
