Izu Sushi

Izu is our go-to local sushi spot - as evidenced by all my photos! Whether for delivery or dine-in (preferred), we haven't gone wrong. Dine-in: great, friendly service. Lots of seating options including a table out front on Main Street. BYOB, which is great!Food: Always fresh, occasional specials, and everything is tasty. They've also been great with modifications (ie boiled shrimp vs tempura, or even steaming vs fried where applicable.)

Izu sushi is such a hole in the wall that the interior really impressed me! Located on Main Street, but doesn't seem to get as much appreciation as I'd expect. They had the most beautiful sushi and even signed the restaurant name as garnish, which was a nice touch. My favorite was probably the soup, so flavorful and so hearty! The service was great- fast and helpful.

My favorite sushi place of all time! I always compare every piece of sushi I ever eat to what I get here. I have to start out also by saying the service is incredible here and so consistent. As for the food, if you come here once, you'll probably become a regular. My favorite is the mango dream roll. You can't get that anywhere else! I wish I had a picture, but I'll have to grab it next time. I think I wanted to eat it so much that I couldn't wait to take a photo. But, truly everything I get here has been fantastic. It's one of the few places around that every member of my family can agree on is a good place for dining out! Major credit to them for having such a diverse menu while also including a ton of options for someone who doesn't eat fish. The restaurant itself is great place to sit with a group; it's rarely crowded. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Some friends brought take out from Izu to my house on Friday. The shrimp shumai and the pork gyoza were very good. The teriyaki steak over thin lo mein noodles was fantastic. The steak was sliced thin and was very tender. So far everything is great. The fried rice was a let down. It was a bit soggy although it had a lot of chicken in it. The "amazing" chicken was basically general tso's chicken. It was fine but not amazing. Overall the food was very good. The steak, sesame chicken and appetizers were great!

This place is over rated I paid $30 for two rolls and a spicy kani salad. I'm better off with super market sushi at this point. Never again

Ordered uber eat , i ordered three rolls and scallop which supposed to include 2 sushi and 3 sashimi but only received 2 sushi. I let the business know via ubet eat app. Rolls were so so. I ordered double spicy roll, spicy shrimp avocado roll and spicy white tuna with jalapeño roll. Less than expectations honestly for the price.

Love love love Izu!! It was Christmas day and we were desperate for something delicious for dinner and we were so lucky the hardworking staff at Izu was in. The Party Platter with all the special rolls ($90) was delicious! It had everything we wanted except Shrimp Tempura, which we just ordered more on the side. Their Shrimp Tempura rolls are INCREDIBLE - I've been to so many sushi places but this is the only place that gives TWO tempura pieces per roll. It was amazing. Their seaweed salad is also great - and the quantity is twice that of any other sushi place. On top of everything, service was extremely quick and they were so friendly. I would come back here in a heartbeat for fair prices and excellent food/service. Thank you for helping make the holidays great!

low key the best sushi in the area. chicken teriyaki is phenomenal. have never gotten anything bad here

Great food and beautiful presentation of the meal. I had the dinosaur egg and rainbow sushi.
