Italian Delite Pizzeria & Restaurant

We typically love eating here, but last time there our waitress brought out the wrong meal, and although that's not the biggest issue, the lack of responsiveness was disheartening. She acknowledged her mistake when I mentioned that wasn't what I ordered, but then she did nothing about it. Didn't bring me what I ordered and didn't bother comping my meal. It was very surprising and disappointing. I reached out to them after the fact to voice my frustration, but no one ever got back to me. Really like this restaurant but that experience has me questioning going back.

This place caught my eye on Facebook with a plate of Bolognese topped with a ball of burrata. We got there at 5 on a Friday night and easily secured a booth. It was a seat yourself situation. By the time we left every seat was filled with more waiting in the vestibule. Water is my drink. I'm always thrilled when they bring me bottle and a glass of ice. A basket of garlic knots followed. Placed our orders and received the generous complementary salads with dressings on the side. I'm not really a fan of pasta but since I saw they got a pasta machine this week and were making all fresh pasta, I had to try it. I had the chicken martini. The pasta and sauce were so delicious and the chicken so good. Enjoyed the leftovers the next day. Partner had the fettuccine delight. It was tasty too, but I think mine was better. This might be in my top two of pizza and pasta restaurants. Can't wait to try the pizza and maybe that decadent Bolognese.

A little overpriced but quality service, a friendly atmosphere and huge portions make up for the mediocre food quality. We ordered a few pasta dishes which were family sized but I'd say the chicken quality was meh. The Alfredo sauce is quite thick and heavy which I prefer but some people prefer lighter sauces. The cheesesteak was great. Ask for the cheese mixed in because they usually just lay it on the top/edge of the sandwich which is kinda weird. There was plenty of meat and it was juicy and delicious. Re: Pricing, Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken set us back $28 which means a place in the middle of nowhere Philly suburbia is charging Manhattan prices (and getting it). Cheesesteak was $13 and Pasta Bolognese was $22. Bill was about $85 for the three of us after sodas. I know Italian Delight is a local favorite but you really shouldn't get away with selling 3 star food at 5 star prices.

Great pizza and hamburgers. Love their salads but wish they served alcohol. Appreciate complimentary glass of wine.

This restaurant is a hidden treasure when it comes to good food, portions, cleanliness and friendly staff. From tomato pie and salads to pasta and steak sandwiches, this place has it all. It has become our go to place when eating out or doing take out.

Kept driving by this place and always wanted to try it but always forgot. Until last night we decided to try this place.Glad we did ! Very clean place . We started pasta Vazul and potato soup which was very good.Than salads (very large) that came with dinner very good. Garlic knots which were awesome! Two main entry entrées were eggplant Parmesan and chicken Parm ! Omg the portions were huge and very good. We ended up taking home for breakfast and lunch! Faith our server was excellent! The pizza also looked good and can not wait to try it! We will definitely be back as customers!!pleas give it a try. Awesome!!Go there with a empty stomach.

So there are plenty of Italian restaurants in the area, and it's hard to go wrong with most (but not all) of them. This place is one you won't go wrong with. But you're going to get American Italian, as you typically do in this area.That being said, it's still quite good! We've been a few times, but in this instance, we had a regular cheese pizza, a pasta al forno trio, and the carbonara. The pizza certainly wasn't the best I've ever had, but it had good flavor and was satisfying. The trio was quite good and loaded with cheese, and the sauce was great (though could still have used a little more cooking to boil off some of the water). The carbonara had good flavor, and they added grilled chicken per request, though it's heavier than a typical carbonara, even for an American Italian dish. Still quite tasty! We also had the honeycomb bread, which is basically a tub of ricotta cheese mixed with honey and served with pita. Delicious! Such a large portion, too! Included garlic rolls and Caesar salads rounded out the dinner.Service was great, and the woman on the phone who took the takeout order was on top of her game. She knew the menu, knew all options, and was able to handle off the menu alterations and provided variations for those as well. Pickup was organized and efficient.With a name like Italian Delite, you don't immediately get the sense of great Italian, but this place is legit. Can't judge a book by its cover, as they say!

Nothing short of FABULOUS. Our servers were spectacular and the food, from the apps to the salads to the entrees were phenomenal. We had a party of 12 in the private room celebrating a 70th birthday. They even sang happy birthday when they brought out the cake. GREAT EXPERIENCE

5 for food1 for serviceOften do takeout - great pizza and pasta. Went in for first time ever for eat in. Was greeted when we arrived to pick our own seat. We did, one of five tables filled (everyone else was finishing up or waiting for food). Waited twenty minutes while the waitress delivered food, cleaned a table and waited on a table that came in ten minutes after we did. After being sure she saw us several times without coming to take our order we left.

Food & service always good. My favorite is the eggplant Stromboli. It feeds me for 3 days.
