We came here for my girl's birthday and how pleasantly surprised we were. We thought it was just another sushi place but we were mistaken. Its is excellent. The service was polite and attentive, the decor up to date and pleasant and the food presented with flair. The sushi was fresh, the portions generous and last but not least...It was delicious!! Highly recommend Issho! We will def be going back and its our now go to Sushi joint in the area.

Meh. We usually get sushi from another place but wanted to try this restaurant to give our kids the option of some other dishes. The sushi wasn't formed well and fell apart upon picking up. One of the three sushi rolls tasted like spray cleaner, as if the cutting board had recently been sprayed. Totally ruined the roll. The drunken noodles had very little chicken, no veggies, and were extremely overcooked noodles to the point the rice noodles actually seemed glutinous. No one would eat it. The chicken and garlic sauce dish was very "American Chinese" food. Way too thick and also sweeter than many garlic sauce stir fry dishes. I had to make my kids Trader Joe's prepared food instead. We threw out a lot that night. I don't like to leave bad reviews but the whole take-out meal was poor quality but pricing was similar to other restaurants.

The former Lotus Inn is now Issho, and I took my parents there for lunch. It was our first visit, and will be neither mine nor their last, since the tastiness of the dishes delighted us all! There are lunch specials, and I partook of the 3 Combo Rolls (tuna, salmon, and hamachi...but there are others available as well), each of which was delicious. My mother enjoyed the Bento Box, and reported its contents to be wonderful. It was Vegetable Tempura for my father, who is exceptionally particular about his lunches, and he was also significantly impressed. Dessert was a Tempura Cheesecake, which was remarkable, and for my parents their Green Tea Fried Ice Cream elicited huge smiles from each! Friendly staff, pleasant aesthetics, and delicious food! This new business is excellent, and next time I will BYO, so that I may enjoy some wine with my meal. Thanks, Issho! I am glad that you are here for when I am in town!

It was very good, I enjoyed the food and was surprised that soup was included with that lunch meals. The service is good and the environment is clean. Everything in presentation and the layout was well thought out, the front desk/pickup counter looked great, easy access to comfortable seating.I had General Tso's chicken and my colleague had the same but also wanted shrimp in it, and they easily accommodated the request.Very happy with the experience.

I thought it would be better. Had the General Tso's. Not a lot of meat. Mostly breading and overly sweet.

Not sure how I should feel about it. We were nearby, saw Issho and decided to give it a try for lunch. When we stepped in, the whole restaurant was empty at 12:30 pm, which is definitely NOT encouraging. But I would say the interior is actually quite nice! So we sat down anyway. I was surprised to see the whole hibachi section has a red sticker saying "not available"--for a place like this, hibachi is an indispensable part of the menu. Not having it really made a poor impression on the customers. Surprisingly, the food tasted decent except for the miso soup. The miso soup is so diluted that it tasted like dirty water you used to rinse the bowl. The AC is barely working either--maybe they didn't turn it on since there were few customers. In short, they need to step up the game in order to survive.

We've gotten take out from Issho 3 times now and the consistency has been hit or miss. First experience was great - sushi tasted fresh and flavorful and we were excited to have a new spot in the neighborhood.2nd time we tried some of the non sushi options and were surprisingly disappointed. The dishes had little to no flavor and were sparse on the meat or veggies. We actually ended up throwing a good bit of the food away, which isn't something we do often. For our third order, we wanted to try their sushi again having had a good experience the first time but it was just not the same as before. We got the orange dragon, amazing tuna, and spider roll. All 3 were mushy and bland and worst of all, didn't seem particularly fresh... we were disappointed again. The miso soup was pretty good, to be fair, but that's just not enough. There are better sushi places in the area so I don't think we'll be back to Issho anytime soon. It's a shame bc it would've been great to have a solid spot around the corner.Prices are on the higher side but not unreasonable for the area. Ex: spider roll was $15 for 5 piece.

Ordered lunch takeout.3 rolls of your choice for $15. Salad can be added for an additional $1.Sushi had more filling than rice (probably a good thing for most people), rice a relatively thin layer around the rim. Any more rice, the sushi would probably not have fit into the plastic box. Plenty of food for the price. I wouldn't call this high grade stuff but workaday. You can tell from the rice itself, which could be seasoned a little more, but tasty enough. I find Wegman's sushi acceptable enough. Will be delicious enough for most except the gourmand.Comes with soy sauce on the side in small plastic containers. Also get the usual (fake) wasabi and preserved ginger slices.Website uses 'Mealkeyway.' Don't know if there is an upcharge compared to just ordering by phone.15% tip included by default when you check out (you have to click on custom to change this to zero if you don't believe in tipping for orders you are picking up yourself). They also offer Chinese/Thai dishes.
