First time trying Indian food. Staff was awesome and made suggestions. The Tandoori chicken, Tika masala, butter chicken and garlic Naan were absolutely delicious! I would definitely recommend India Foodie Lounge!

It had been a while since I had really good Indian food - since I was last in Mumbai. I told my friend that I would love to go, but that my standards were high.Let me just say, I was not disappointed. The food was delicious! Great portions, seasoned just right, I truly went away this evening very pleasantly stuffed!If you are looking for delicious, authentic Indian food and warm, inviting service, look no further! You won't be disappointed!

The service at this restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. When my family arrived at the restaurant, the table only glasses for drinks and nothing else. As a result, the waitress was running back and forth during our meal to get plates, utensils, etc. When bussing a table, they should automatically put glasses, plates, and utensils so that there is less work to do when other patrons arrive. In addition, the owner or another employee of the restaurant seemed a bit rude when we were ordering. I also kept on having to ask an employee walking past us for things as they never checked in on us. Customer service should be improved. After ordering, I assumed the food would be bad based on the service. Thankfully the food was light years better than the service we received. We ordered samosas, aloo tikki, tandoori chicken, chicken biryani, butter chicken, and naan. The samosas were big, delicious, and filling! The aloo tikki had a lot of masala on it which made extremely tasty! The tandoori chicken was succulent and well seasoned. Most of the tandoori chicken was devoured in seconds! The chicken biryani was tasty and flavorful!! It was my favorite dish of the night. The chicken was well cooked and the restaurant gave a great portion. The butter chicken was spicy and cleared out my sinus!! However, I would run back to it anyday! It was one of the best butter chickens I have ever eaten! I liked how they cut up the naan to make it easier for sharing. The food is impressive but the service is the only reason why I'm giving this place a four.

India Foodie Lounge delivers on every level: excellent spices, incredible service, and a great selection of traditional Indian drinks as well as thoughtful beer selections.If you haven't tried this venue, you're really missing out. Where is the daylight to innovate in Indian cuisine? Doesn't matter, because they didn't. They NAILED the traditional in every way. Every bite contains a multitude of individual notes in perfect harmony.Try some of my favorites: chicken vindaloo, chicken tikka masala, lamb biryani, and garlic naan. Or don't. It's a free country. But whatever you order, I bet you'll love it.The people who work here are some of the most genuine and gracious hosts you'll come across. They always greet you with a big smile, and are very good to their regulars.

My wife and I moved from Evanston to Arlington Heights recently, and wanted to find our new Indian restaurant. She's a vegetarian, I'm not, but India Foodie Lounge had so many options for us both. Phenomenal, attentive service from start to finish. We definitely over ordered, because they have very generous portion sizes. Especially when you consider how reasonable the prices are.We started with a vegetable samosa (one of my favorites) and it was honestly the best one I've had anywhere. We also got a Peas Pulav, garlic naan, garlic chicken tikka special (pictured), and the palak paneer. Every bite was better than the last!Even the masala tea and mango lassi were highlights. We didn't get close to finishing, and I think I have two days left of food packed up in our bag. I can't recommend this place enough, we'll be back. I can't wait to try their baingan bartha!

Good Indian food is so hard to find outside of the city, but now I've found a good place!I have been craving mutter / mater paneer and it's been hard finding a place that makes it well. I came across India Foodie Lounge Googling mater paneer and I'm so happy this place came up! The restaurant is warm and inviting. There's plenty of seating and there looks to be outdoor seating during nice weather days. There is a decent sized bar with a good assortment of drinks making the area a nice lounge space. The owner(s)? are so friendly and welcoming! He was so gracious and humble! On to the food! I ordered samosa, mater paneer, naan, and ras malai for carry out. The samosa was crispy and filled with potatoes and peas. It has a nice spice to it without being overly spicy. The mater paneer was just delicious! The cubes of paneer were diced to a good size that I can grab with some rice and a piece of naan. There was a lot of it too and the peas were cooked just right! The sauce wasn't greasy and so flavorful. I ordered mine mild because I can't eat spicy food. Mild was just the right amount of flavoring and spice, it wasn't bland or lacking in ant eat. The naan was light and fluffy, warm and buttery. Perfect for picking up my mater paneer and rice. The ras malai was just the right amount of sweetness, but it was a bit rubbery tasting instead of soft and fluffy tasting! I may skip this next time. I'm looking forward to trying other dishes and dining in with hubs. There was a generous discount for carry out which I didn't know until I got there. I believe the discount ends at the end of 2023. Nonetheless, I'll be back to try more - discount or not!

India Foodie Lounge has multiple locations - Streamwood (carry out only), Bartlett & now Palatine. I was here for dinner with a group of 3 on a weekday and we were the only individuals who dined in throughout our time there. We did notice people coming in to pick up carry out orders though.The restaurant itself could use a few updates. The table we sat at consisted of 2 tables pushed together, which is fine, however they were not the same height. Throughout our experience music was somewhat playing, it kept going in and out. My guess is the speakers or system itself might need to be fine tuned. As far as service we were in and out within an hour and a half. The staff member was VERY attentive and suggested we order drinks, side orders and desserts. I tried the masala chai which was pretty good, temperature was OK, not the hottest but warm enough. The flavor was pretty mild compared to what I'm used to when it comes to a masala chai. For food we started out with the tandoori paneer tikka. This is served on a sizzling platter and is full of flavor. I really enjoyed this appetizer to share. For my main course I had the butter chicken which came with a side of rice and I also got an order of garlic naan. The portions were decent, the Bartlett location seems to have a more generous portion and for the same price. Overall the flavors were OK, I asked for medium spice and maybe I got the wrong one? Mine wasn't spicy at all, no kick to it and tasted like it needed something else however still pretty good.

The food and service were excellent here. It's super close so we were hoping for a great local option, and it really hit the spot. We got palak paneer, mutter paneer, chicken tikka masala, and fried fish appetizer. The chicken tikka masala can be ordered as mild, which was perfect for kids since it wasn't really spicy. The paneer dishes were just the right texture and tasty. The fish I probably could do without since it wasn't super tasty, but I was just trying something different so maybe that's how it is elsewhere too. The garlic naan complemented the food well. All in all, this is a great find, and I would come back for sure.

I attended with my husband, they had great service. Super kind, they didn't rush us to pick our food. They were gentle. We had the Butter Chicken & Chicken Tikka Masala and we also ordered the garlic & butter bread. We also had their mango drink, which was very good. I can't remember the appetizer but it was super tasty. The food was delicious, we were happy and full. The only reason why it's a 4 & not a 5 star was because I hoped the rice would've been fresh off the pot and more quantity. I do recommend
