Biggest suggest is call your food in. Parking sucks but it's worth it. Their fried chicken is BOMB! I also really enjoyed the sesame chicken and rice platter too. I wasn't too crazy about the fried rice but it was ok. This place gets busy. It's your local hood Chinese food spot so expect fast service. If you're the type that needs to be catered too lower your expectations before coming here.

Best mom and pop Chinese food in the city! Everything is flavorful but the fried chicken wings are amazing just plain but you can customize to your liking with salt, pepper, ketchup etc. The shrimp and broccoli, wonton soup and fried rice are all also really good. Perfect after a late night . Easy street parking on broad but they also have a small driveway type parking lot on the right side of the store. Closed on Sundays since the pandemic started.

The Imperial Palace Chinese Restaurant has a very large menu; in fact, it is so extensive as to be rather intimidating and difficult to decide off of. We ordered several items; I only ate the rice, vegetable fried rice, and vegetable chow mein noodles. The vegetable fried rice was pretty good, but I didn't prefer the chow mein. Probably the best thing about this place is that it was quite convenient, and there were enough choices to satisfy a variety of tastes.

I saw a good review on google and decided to try this place. I was a bit hesitant to go inside but I saw all the people buying their lunch. Even the police officer bought his lunch here! I even asked a lady if she's a frequent buyer. She told me they have the best wings. I tried the General tso and it is one of the best I tasted for only 5 dollars! I give this 4 stars because of the location.

Really good and really cheap! Imperial Palace is a neighborhood spot on Broad street that makes good food really fast and oh so cheap. When I order from here, I order food that you order in the neighborhood, not like you order in Chinatown. For instance, I order egg foo young here, never in Chinatown. I also order the spare ribs and rib tips, the Yat Me in, the fried chicken wings which are available in many flavors like buffalo and General Tos style. There's nothing fancy here, just call in your order and get out, and don't be thrown off if the guy answers the phone saying "Hello" , you got the right place.

Place has really good food. I've had a few things off the menu from honey wings, Chinese donuts, general tso's shrimp. If you order over the phone prepare to still wait they start to box it up when you get there.

THE BEST CHICKEN WINGS IN ANY CITY.I will put them up against anyone's...no lie.Light coating, seasoned perfectly.Pretty big wings, order with their fried rice. Also top notch.Other favorites: Singapore noodles. The other Chinese food there is pretty consistent with a lot of Chinese American take out joints in Philly.Take out only. I tend to get food then trek back to the city...

Called ahead for my order, and still waited an hour and half! Then I didn't even receive the correct items. Food is average.
