I recently dined at IL Falo Wood Fired Kitchen for lunch, and it was a fantastic experience. The online reservation system was incredibly convenient, making the booking process a breeze. Upon my arrival, the staff recognized me immediately, which I found quite impressive.Our server, whose name I can't quite recall, was exceptional. It was clear he had a background in fine dining, as he anticipated our needs even before we expressed them. The restaurant itself was spotless and well-organized; although it wasn't fully packed, the patrons present seemed to genuinely relish their meals.While there my friends and I ordered the following items: CRISPY CALAMARI 15lemon aioli, sicilian capers, sultanas, calabrian hot honeyGEM CAESAR 14red gem lettuce, garlic aioli, parmigiano-reggiano, white anchovies, focaccia crispsITALIAN SAUSAGE 19crushed tomato, smoked mozzarella & fontina, italian sausage, pickled onions, calabrian hot honeyGRILLED ZUCCHINI 6sunflower seed pesto, gremolataKENNEBEC FRIES 5roasted garlic, parmigiano - reggianoBoth my guest and I enjoyed refreshing water during our meal. Overall, our experience was among the best we've had in the Triangle area. The restaurant offers plenty of parking and is conveniently situated on the first floor of the hotel. I highly recommend it if you're meeting a friend from Durham and want a halfway point from Raleigh, picking up a friend or family member from the airport and have some time to spare, or planning a romantic evening with your significant other. There's truly something for everyone here.

Meh.I picked this place for a work dinner based on strong reviews and honestly, our experience wasn't great. The good: *Lovely space*Plates are nicely presentedThe not-good:*Despite having less than 5 tables going, we had long waits for everything. Our server disappeared, a lot.*Our appetizer never arrived*My coworkers had chicken parm and both said it was tough and overcooked*My cacio é pepe was so salty it was borderline inedibleStyle over substance for sure - you can do better, and you should.Edit: both co workers that ate the chicken parm got sick....

Fun night with delightful staff and excellent food. Very comfortable seating. The BEST parking is in the rear of the building with easy access to the restaurant through a well appointed access--decorated, accessorized, climate controlled area. We generally order "sharing" dishes. Items that will be easily shared by the two of us. We enjoyed pizza, salad and a delicious dessert.

I'm usually not a fan of hotel food, but this place surprised me. The noodles in the bolognese was made fresh. The Caesar salad didn't look that interesting, but it tasted great! The croutons in the salad were unique, it was a light crispy (thin-cracker-like) texture, but looked like a hard baguette. The meatball was very filling with the bread. The service was great, they were very attentive and helpful. Check this place out when you're in the area!

I went here for some after dinner drinks with some friends late on a Saturday night and reallyEnjoyed it. The inside is beautiful and the service was good. We sat at a small round table just outside the bar seating area. We all ordered some cocktails, and everyone seemed to agree the drinks were strong and also tasted good. The price of the drinks are on the higher end for the area, but I felt the quality was worth it. I had an espresso martini and also tried my spouses dirty martini. Both were good. Our friends had two whiskey based cocktails from the cocktail menu which they enjoyed. We also had an order for truffle fries - SO GOOD and a margarita flatbread, which was my only "complaint." It was not very good, the sauce and flavors in general felt pretty underwhelming (especially for a restaurant of that caliber/price point) and actually tasted a tad bit undercooked. Still, I am giving them a solid 4 as everything else was so good, I'm wondering if may have just been an off night for that dish. Will definitely be returning to try out their main menu and/or other pre or post dinner drinks!

I've been wanting to try Il Falo since I knew it was coming here. I'm a fan of Italian-inspired food and I like that Il Falo cooks with wood fire and quality ingredients. I dined here with a friend for a Birthday celebration.II Falo is a clean beautifulfully decorated restaurant. The staff here are kind and professional. Our waiter was Ava. The low table we were seated at was very comfortable I ordered the French 75, meatball appetizer, and the NY strip as an entree. All of my food had a great flavor and the ingredients tasted like quality ingredients. The only thing lacking was the temperature of the food. The food was not hot, which made me curious about the preparation process.For a menu that claims to be designed in collaboration with The James Beard Award-winning chef, I think I expected a way better food experience.

I'm truly unsure where to begin, because all I have are positive things to say about this gem. between the four of us during a four night stay at the attached hotel, we tried SO many items on the menu, and each were outstanding. flavor and happiness in each bite! the service was incredible as well. great menu recommendations, and anything we needed they were there. beautiful ambience, making for a perfect evening.

The atmosphere and food was good, but what made the experience a whole vibe was the fact they honored my friend's birthday with a cake even though his birthday was last week. Demishia "Mishia" was top tier as well as the general manager. We will definitely go back!

We dined with a party of five, including one vegan, and we thought the food was generally good. They were accommodating, adjusting a menu item to suit the vegan in our group, which we really appreciated. I personally had the chicken parmesan and thought it was outstanding. I was told the Americana Pizza was a little on the soggy side. The ambience was overall quite nice, but the acoustics made it loud and difficult to hear conversations at times. Sound seemed to bounce off the ceiling and walls, making it feel like there were more people than there actually were.However, the service could use improvement. For example, my wife's salad (her entree) arrived much later than the rest of our meals, and we were told the reason was that there was only one person making all the salads. Additionally, our server seemed to be assigned too many tables, which led to delays with drink orders and food delivery.Overall, good food and a pleasant atmosphere, but service and acoustics could be better. I truly believe this could be an outstanding restaurant. They have all the key ingredients (pun intended) to make it so but appear to need more staff to ensure timely service & consistent quality.
