Love love love self serve boba...not places have it so love when I'm able to check a new place out. It's originally on my booked mark list for the unique fries I wanted to try but when we got there I wasn't in the mood for fries so will definitely have to come back to try them fries out. Great service and good boba

Decided to come here after not visiting after a few years(used to come here back in 2018).Bought 1 full size Bulgogi Fry, 1 half size Sisig Fry, and 2 regular size Bobas, total after tax came out to $38.87, a little pricey for everything considering I could eat out at convoy for about the same price.Sampler Cups aren't given out anymore for you to try the different flavors of boba anymore, with the reason being Covid. So currently you're just supposed to buy a flavor of boba and not know what it'll taste like until after you buy.My drink tasted okay as I got a slushie, but my girlfriend got a version of their milk tea and she didn't like it as it had a weird aftertaste. She wasn't able to figure this out until AFTER she picked the drink and it got sealed. She tried dealing with it and drinking it but about halfway through, her stomach started to hurt. She went up to the counter to ask if she was able to pick a different drink since the one she got made her stomach hurt. The cashier(His name was Mark) REFUSED to let her get a different drink. I soon after went up to the counter as well and told him "How are we supposed to know what the drinks taste like if we're not given sampler cups, her stomach doesn't feel good after the fact and we can't pick a different drink?" This has happened at other boba shops in the past and the other shops would just give us a different drink in exchange for the old drink. After I told him this, he went to go speak to the worker in the back(Her name was Marilyn) and talked to her about it. When he came back, I was told that in order to switch the flavor of drink, WE NEEDED TO BUY ANOTHER WHOLE DRINK(6.50 + TAX). To add further clarification, the drink wasn't halfway done yet, it was at the level that you see in the picture that I attached to this review. This took me back because in the food service positions that I've worked before, if someone didn't like their food for a valid reason(their stomach hurting) WE WOULD GET THEM SOMETHING ELSE OR REMAKE IT FOR THEM. The fact that we were told that we needed to buy a BRAND NEW DRINK was completely absurd.Apart from not knowing what the drinks would taste like and being stuck with that choice after the fact, the food was good. I can see what other reviews meant by getting soggy fries but personally it didn't bother me since thats what happens when you mix fries with sauce.Customer Service was very blunt from Mark, Marylin was nice however. This place isn't what it used to be in terms of the vibe compared to 2018/2019, which leaves me a little saddened because I remember loving this place back in High School.I hate to write this review but at this point I'd recommend going someplace else. Thanks for the past memories IceBox.

Love getting the honeydew snow bubble from here. We've tried a few different fries here. Pretty good. Would definitely come back. They have private parking in front. Usually packed from other businesses. Line is pretty quick & food preparation times aren't long. Ambiance is cute. Like a high school/middle school hangout spot. Lol. They need more seating. But I guess they don't want the younger crowds just hanging out all day. Lol.

Tried this gem with my oldest son the other day, was pleasantly surprised at their options for toppings, it was more than I expected. Love the different sizes and that you have control as to what to mix in your tea and create. Super cute place, very clean, managed well, and courteous staff. Love that there's dairy free options. I forgot what tea I got, but got a Thai tea to go for my youngest son. But I also like that there's under tea you can add to gauge and control the sweetness. I don't like my tea too sweet so I half cut it with unsweetened tea. Really great tasting tea and do Manny toppings to choose from, very happy with quality of their boba and pudding perfect and not overly sweet.

If you're looking for an alternative to your typical carne asada fries, this place offers that. Very few restaurants offer the type of fries this place serves!! You can experiment with all kinds of fries from poke fries to pho fries... sounds interesting right? Their photo menu highlights all the key ingredients that goes into each dish which only makes you want it more. My personal favorite is the bulgogi fries topped with their delicious green sauce.Although their service isn't always the best and in a timely manner, the food is still worth it. The boba is all self served and you have to wear a mask in order to use that area. It's a fun way to attract kids who love customizing their drinks and toppings! Both of their locations have a fun and cute mural on their walls that catches your attention when you walk in. Seating is often comfortable and spacious unless it is extremely busy.TLDR:- Try any of their fries (I HIGHLY recommend the bulgogi fries at least once)- Boba is self serve which makes it fun to customize!

We have been in San Diego for 4 days and saw this restaurant on the first day here. Grandson could wait to eat her and boy did he make a great choice! My husband and I had the Bulgogi fries and our grandson had the Parmesan garlic fries. The bulgogi had two different sauces that made the fries so tasty. One sauce was spicy and the other slightly sweet. The combination with the fries and beef was amazing! The place doesn't look like much and the only drink is boba but don't let that keep you away. The food is amazing!!!
