I-45 Diner

I love I-45 Diner.Always great food! Daily specials! Thursday Spaghetti and Meatballs is the bomb! Monday Meatloaf is sooooo delicious, meatloaf is 3" tall! The chefs are awesome!Very nice and friendly wait staff too.Nice eating area, not always the cleanest though.

I-45 is a very unique diner there burgers are the bomb. Actually all of their food is delicious. The staff are very friendly.

Met a friend on a Sunday morning around 10:30. This place is pretty close to my house, so it definitely gets personal points for that. The older I get, the more convenience matters. It's a diner on the side of a strip mall, so I don't think I need to talk about ambiance. The service was good. We both had coffee. She had the breakfast skillet with bacon, and was pleased. She substituted fruit for hashbrowns, and was pretty disappointed that it was just cut up cantaloupe. I hesitantly ordered the shrimp avocado omlette, (shrimp at the strip mall diner?) but it was really good. I swapped the fruit I should have gotten for hashbrowns, and let me tell you, I made the right decision. They were Waffle House good hashbrowns! I'd come back.

I was recommended by a close friend that I should go here instead of W_____ H____, yes you can buy a vowel. The place was not crowded on a Sunday afternoon, and you seat yourself. The waiter was cool just not attentive and I'm not one who goes out of his way to let it be known that my drink is empty or that I'm ready to order.Anyway I got a basic breakfast and brought half my order out, before it was all ready which is weird it seemed like someone forgot about my pancakes. Long story short the pancakes were beautiful and were decent everything else was mediocre, for a diner.So next time I'll get a lunch entree if I decide to come back.

I've been here twice, the second time with my wife, as I believe in giving a place at least two chances. Both times they were disappointing. The restaurant itself was crowded both times that I came. But the dining room I was a bit on the dirty side, had to sit at a dirty table until someone would come clean it, which could be a while. The food was less than mediocre. Breakfast food is not hard to make good and yet they have failed at that. The service was friendly but slow. I don't see any reason to come back.

1st visit. Stopped in on the way to catch our cruise. Great food, great service. Food comes out quick and made to order. Typical dinner scene. Nothing fancy. Just good old fashioned food and service. Waitresses are hustling and cooks are flipping flap jacks and cooking it up fast and delicious! We sat at the counter and shared a breakfast plate. Prices are reasonable. Very clean place.

I ate at this diner with my sister and immediately coming in there is an odd smell and it's not the cleanest but then again it's a diner. I ordered the a breakfast burger and the burger itself was good a very big portion but the meat tasted a little watery if that makes sense like had water in it , but not the juicy burger your mouth would water for. Anywho we also order the wings with fry and I don't recommend the wings there is too much batter and they were a bit gummy. Customer service was okay not great but also not bad. Would I ever go again? Probably not but It was good experience nonetheless.

Food quality is great! My husband ordered the breakfast chicken fried steak and it was delicious and huge. I got the machacado and it was yummy. My Kids got pancakes and the chicken and waffles. Those chicken tenders were huge and the chicken quality was great.

I agree with another reviewer. I wondered if they do hire their own family members because the way our waitress acted. It's as if she didn't really need a job. She was horrible!You think with it being 9 AM that you'd be able to get the some service. Not the case here. As we walked in we were greeted with,"Sot wherever you like"! Our waitress walked up to us as we sat down. Her face told us that she was not going to be pleasant. She didn't say good morning all she said was, "Do y'all know what you wanna drink"? So we ordered our drinks. She came back about 10-15 minutes later. Then she asked what do y'all want to eat? No greeting whatsoever no hospitality at all!Then we received our food and I thought maybe we just eat and leave but the food was not good. Someone said you guys make homemade biscuits and that's a joke. If they were homemade they were made the day before because the biscuits and gravy were cold . The bacon was not even crispy. It just taste like everything was rewarmed in the microwave.It's really quite sad because I saw this place on Localish and couldn't wait to give it a try Since we were moving in the area. I love supporting small businesses. Especially family owned businesses but if you guys do have your family members working for you then you are definitely letting them run your place down!$28 for a leftover breakfast and horrible attitudes are just not the way I want to spend my money. I will not be returning.

Decided to try this place for a quick breakfast and a quick review. First we couldn't find it since it was kind of hidden but gems usually are!We really enjoyed our food not crowded very peaceful you can hear your self talk.Liked all the ladies helping each other out with the tables such as pouring coffee and water and just checking on everyone.Seemed liked some regular customers come.I wasn't sure at first thought it might be crazy because it's by a high school.Don't blink so you won't miss it! We almost did! Glad we went
