I've gotten tired of going to the same old Indian restaurants in Highland Park and Northbrook and decided to try someplace new. We came for dinner on a night that we were tired of cooking at home. We started with garlic naan, and chana masala as an appetizer. The bread was remarkably light and crispy; the chana was incredibly flavorful. For entrées, at the recommendation of the waiter, we had the goat saag and a biryani dish that I can't pronounce. Portion sizes were generous and food was fresh and tasty.Prices were competitive, atmosphere was lovely, and the food is some of the best Indian food we have ever had. Only two things made the experience less than perfect: (1) despite asking for the entrees to be mild, they were very spicy for our caucasian palates [The yogurt sauce was a delicious necessity to cool my palate], and (2) they don't give papadam as a free appetizer snack like many other restaurants. We also struggled with the waiter's difficulty with speaking English but managed to get by.We will definitely be coming again in the future!

I've been a frequent visitor to nawabi Indian restaurant, and I can't help but express my admiration for the exceptional experience each time. The ambience is truly awesome, the spacious setting adds to the comfort, and your commitment to excellent customer service is commendable. The ample parking space is a convenience appreciated by many.The taste of the dishes consistently stands out, making each visit a delight. What's equally impressive is the appropriateness of the prices, reflecting a fair balance between quality and affordability. Having been there multiple times, I find myself inclined to return more often.In essence, this restaurant has become my preferred choice for a reason, and I genuinely hope to continue enjoying the fantastic dining experience they provide. Here's to many more visits in the future!

This is my newest and FAVORITE Indian restaurant! I came here last night to get some takeout because I was craving South Indian food and wanted to try a new place -- I saw Hyderabad House's 5-stars out of 5 stars Yelp reviews and was drawn to them and their huge interesting menu (especially the Gongura and Andhra items)! Anyway, I placed an order which was almost $220 (included a 20% tip)--I was so blown away by ALL the delicious food I ordered (check out my receipt of my huge food order)! Everything was so fresh, hot, flavorful and hearty! What's great about Hyderabad's online ordering system is that you can determine the level of spiciness --I ordered Level 2 out of 4 (with 4 being the highest level); I chose correctly! The food was nice and spicy but not in an overpowering way in which it overwhelmed the flavor and gave me heartburn! The service here is great too-- when I went to pick up my order, it was ready on time, it was accurate and 1 of the restaurant staff even helped me load my huge order into my truck! The inside of the restaurant, by the way, was clean, bright, and welcoming (I think it used to be the clubhouse restaurant for the Buffalo Grove Golf Course--I hadn't been here since the mid to late 2000's when I used to golf a lot)! Anyway, I would definitely come back here and order more food! What was a very positive sign for me was that the majority of the customers dining here and getting take out were Indian -- which I LOVE!!!!

Great Indian restaurant in the northern burbs. Biryani is amazing. Prices are reasonable. Service is great. They also have party rooms We love chicken tikka masala and theirs is the best we've ever had. Heads up tho --. Samosas are not the best
