Hungry's - Rice Village

Brunch on the weekends is always delicious! I had the egg and prosciutto skillet and it was yummy!!! I also indulged in the strawberry mimosas. Their carafes are reasonably priced $22/carafe, and you can get about 5-6 glasses per carafe. Self parking is very limited to a few spaces and Valet parking is available as well. I went around Noon this past Sunday and did not have to wait for a table. The manager greeted us and took our drink orders while we waited for our waiter to check in with us.

Went there for a casual evening after the museum and had an asshat waiter serve us.Barely any pattonsatojnd and seemingly empty.Even before we were seated and the third person was at the table he was rushing us to get our drink orders in , even for the person who hasn't arrived yet.He seemed to not have patience at all , he got our food , couldn't recommend when one of the parties was vegetarian he curtly poonted out that dishes are marked , when actually we we meant to ask his recommendations of the 2.We had told him we will need the dessert menu and we coffee , he hugging got our order and asked us are we going to order anything else ? I he already had our bill ready. was I am waiting on my coffee too .I asked him if his shift eas getting over or what the rush was about after the entire rushed experience . A couple just got seated on a table next to us and another waiter was just taking their orders .Inside you could see patrons still causally enjoying g their dinner and drinks .Maybe our first and last visit , we can spend our money elsewhere.

Hungry's is a Rice Village staple! They have excellent seating inside, outside on the large patio along with an upstairs rooftop! The food is really well priced, and you can honestly eat very healthy here. There's very very limited parking, so most of it is valet. This may seem like a bummer but they do have a Venmo QR code for an easy tip once you leave. Great, healthy food, great vibes, highly recommend!

I try not to be too critical when I can help it, but unfortunately, this food experience was not what we were hoping for from Hungry's. This was a to-go order so I cannot comment on the aura of the restaurant. The food was ready at the time we ordered it, and given how busy the restaurant is, this is worth mentioning.To Hungry's credit, the food was (mostly) packed well, in a secure bag. The only item that spilled was the yogurt addition to the spinach artichoke dip. This was messy, but a bearable mess. We received extra utensils as requested.The best item: the goat cheese and crostinis. This was tasty, lightly sweetened with dried fruit, and worked well with the crostinis. Unfortunately, the eating experience went downhill from there. The spinach artichoke dip was not tasty, and for the price, is quite unreasonable. The spinach mushroom penne pasta was the true letdown. This looked, and tasted, like a penna pasta I could have cooked at home. Some sauce, spinach, mushroom, and cheese, and truly nothing that made this stand out as an item.We got the brownie as dessert, and it was fine. I would not order it again.I wish I could have said this was a more worthwhile experience, but for cost to quality ratio, I would not recommend Hungry's as an option.

Went here for dinner the other night with my girl friends and we had such a good time!! Two of my friends got the Black Berry Ginger Margarita, and my other friend and I got the Cucumber Martini. My friends enjoyed their margaritas, but the martinis had too much ginger flavor and had no taste of cucumber which was disappointing. But the presentation was incredible!!For dinner, two of my friends got the burger, one got the Hungry's Kabob Plate, and I got the Anaheim Chile Grilled Chicken. Let's just say, WE LOVED OUR FOOD!!! The chicken was just phenomenal, I loved the cream sauce that came with it.Our server was very attentive and would ask how our food was thought the meal. The inside was so cute and perfect for dinner and drinks with the girls.I will definitely be back, but I'll be trying another drink on the menu ;)

Thoroughly enjoyed lunch with the family outdoors here. They have a nice patio and service was attentive and helpful, especially when we needed to ask questions about the food ingredients for my daughter who has food allergies. My daughter was able to safely eat penne pasta with grilled chicken and marinara sauce (our go-to at many restaurants to avoid egg, dairy and cashew/pistachio allergies). We got the green Chile shrimp ceviche appetizer as well, which she was able to safely eat too. And it was very refreshing but did feel like it could use more shrimp. My prosciutto and pineapple pizza was just as I expected it and satisfied my sudden craving for pizza! It was a good portion too and had to take some home for leftovers.The rest of the family was happy about their choices too! Parking lot had a few empty spots when we arrived so we're able to self-park. They are tight spots though, so if you're not a confident driver, it may be worth getting the valet to park.

This place is soooo good. I've been coming to this restaurant for quite some time now. I mainly come for the appetizers. My holy trinity is the gouda cheese, brussel sprouts, and hummus sampler. I always order all three at once regardless of whether I'm hungry or not hehe. I brought my mom here on my last visit, and she loved everything! For entrees, I usually order whatever, because I am full by the time I'm done with the apps. I love sitting upstairs. You get a view of the street and all the trees, so fun. Service is always good each time.

Had an early family dinner for my wife's birthday. Around 4:30 p.m. on a Monday. Relatively empty. My wife found cellophane wrapping in her pasta. I placed it on a butter knife, gave it to the waiter and asked the waiter to show it to the chef. I heard someone say "plastico" but that was the end of that. An apology would have resolved this.I've been here about 15 times in 20 years. My first negative experience and this will be my last time.

Ana was simply amazing!! Her attentiveness and service was top notch. She recommended a meal and cocktail that was divine. Definitely coming back to enjoy the exceptional food and ambience.

Went to Hungry's this past Saturday for Happy Hour and enjoyed it so much! We got the Goat Cheese app and some cocktails. Ryan was our server and they did an excellent job, very attentive and friendly! They suggested my second cocktail, the gimlet, and it was very tasty. Can't wait to go back!
