Hunan Asian Cuisine

We used to order from here all the time back when "Take Out Taxi" was a thing. Since GrubHub and door dash took over and didn't include Hunan Asian, we sort of forgot about them. Definitely our loss. We re-remembered them and have made a couple orders recently.Highlight:The "ma po tofu with minced pork" (ask for it extra spicy) this is the only place in the area that you can get a reasonably legit ma po tofu except for Yi Palace, which is much farther away from us. That's not it though - they have a ton of other Malaysian, Thai, etc dishes that are darn close to authentic - a heck of a lot more authentic than you'll find anywhere else around here, and the prices are super reasonable. It's not your "regular" Americanized Chinese Take Out (I can't speak to every dish though, they did have some standard looking Chinese Take Out dishes too, if that's your thing)They're definitely our go-to again, even though we need to go pick it up ourselves instead of having Take Out Taxi bring it to us. Sooooo happy we remembered them and decided to not be lazy and go pick up our own food. Well, well, well worth it.

I walked in and did take out. The woman behind the counter was friendly. I was sad to see the menu was skimmed down a lot but still had many of my favorites. The food was still piping hot when we got home and just as delicious as I remember it. The curry sauce with the roti was different than before but still tasty. The fried pork dumplings and dumpling sauce were also good. I prefer dumplings that have a thinner skin and not the thick doughy kind, these were perfect.

This is our favorite local Asian restaurant! I love the house wonton soup and dumplings! Service is terrific and the dining room is very nice!

Best place around the PA/DE border area. I don't order a lot of Chinese take out around here often bc I don't really like many places besides Yi Palace. I'm so glad I tried this place bc it's soo good. High quality beef Ho fun, beef with broccoli. I'll definitely be back. The white rice was also very good and well cooked. These little things matter! I wish I took a picture but I ate all the food before I realize I should. I'll be back!!

My family frequents this restaurant often and for many years. We have dined in and ordered take out. The inside has been redone in the last couple years. It's got a very cozy atmosphere. Everything seems so clean when you go in. The service has always been great. We were quickly seated. The server gave us a couple minutes to decide on drinks. Once drinks were served, we ordered two appetizers and our main dishes. The appetizers were brought out within 3-4 minutes. They gave us time to enjoy and finish them before bringing out our main dishes. So once we finished our appetizers, it was only about 5-8 minutes until they brought out our main dishes to the table. We were checked on several times and given refills on drinks. We did not feel rushed even though service was quick. (This was all while there were 4 other tables of guests and constant take out orders being filled)The food was delicious and perfectly spicy. We enjoyed the Roti with curry dip, golden triangles, pork lo mein, crispy Chiangmai beef, orange flavored beef and curry casserole.Our family will continue to visit this restaurant!

I was so disappointed in the food here and I read the reviews thinking I made a solid choice! I normally go to Royal Garden but they were closed on Sunday, so I went with this place. We ordered egg rolls, pepper steak and onions, shrimp lo mein, and shrimp with broccoli... and it had to be the blandest Chinese food I've had in my entire life! The lo mein was the biggest disappointment absolutely zero flavor. How can you mess up lo mein?!? My kids were mad at me and told me to never go there again. OMG I am better off making my own at home, for real. Sorry but this wasn't it for us.

Loved it. Food was great & service was nice. Giving this 4/5 stars because the water didn't taste filtered & the appetizer chips wasn't so great. But overall experience was fantastic.

We ordered takeout from Hunan (Sesame Chicken, General Tso, Crab Rangoon). The service was great and our food was ready before the quoted time. Food was hot upon pickup and serving sizes were generous. This is our new go-to take out spot! 10/10.

Our seats in a booth were very uncomfortable. No room to move. Our order was taken after two other groups came in. Water in plastic cups was served with waitress's fingers all around the top instead of the side. My friend had the Pad Thai and barely ate it. My spring roll was awful. My main course which was a large bowl of spicy soup with chicken and shrimp was watery. I didn't feel well later in the evening and next morning. I called to tell manager of our experience and she brushed off everything. Said to come on another day ( we were there on Christmas) so it should be different. I told her our order should still be taken before other people come in after us, the serving of water cup with fingers was no excuse and the quality of the food should be the same at all times. I have not eaten there in ten years, gave it a try on Christmas and will NEVER go back!

This is one of my go to places. The roti and curry sauce are a particular favorite, but I haven't found anything I don't like. Dine in is comfortable and service is pleasant and not rushed. Take out is quick.
