Hunan River never disappoints. The delivery is always fast and fresh and their lunch specials are a fantastic value.

My husband and I have been ordering takeaway from this place for a few years now. We keep it simple most of the time, and love the food so much we order the same things again and again. The dumplings are an absolute family favorite from here. We look forward to our comfort food and familiar faces each week, and love to support a local Spring business. Prompt delivery, excellent customer service, dependable food. We recommend them every time.

With great sadness I have to write this review! I've been coming here since I have moved to spring- the food was amazing but the last two times , I've ordered it has gone down hill . Ordered the lunch specials orange chicken and sesame chicken! I attached a photo below. they literally smell the same ,they look the same, and they taste the same, I called up just to let them know ..The owner was so rude and nasty. He says they're NOT the same , one has sesame seeds on it and one has orange slices, ......but my taste buds say they taste the same.lol they taste the same lol He was so rude like" how dare you call and question my food " .. it's a shame , because it will be my last time coming here and I'm letting my coworkers know without it to frequent this establishment a lot as well!

I usually order party trays from here if I'm bringing something for a potluck in the area. Their food is always fresh and serving sizes are generous. I love to order the cream cheese wontons tray, and it is always a hit because who doesn't love cream cheese wontons? They for sure make delicious ones here! They also will throw in free items if you order a certain dollar amount, like free egg rolls or free family side of fried rice. Hunan Garden is a quaint, local, family owned business, and the owners and employees are always so very kind and welcoming! Hunan Garden is the best Chinese take-out in Spring!

Consistently great food. Wide variety of choices. Excellent service!This is our go-to Chinese restaurant, and in fact, it's the ONLY one we frequent. We seem to get a variety of the same dishes: wonton soup, egg drop soup, hot and sour soup; lo mein, sinapore rice noodles, orange chicken, sesame chicken, spring rolls, egg rolls. All are top notch and delicious!Mostly this location does take out, but there are a few tables available. Typical small restaurant with adequate seating. Easy access with plenty of parking, when we've got a hankering for good, hot (both in temperature and in spice!) Chinese food, this is where we go.And the people that run this restaurant are always so very nice!

The food is amazing here and very affordable! I got three combination plates for 30 bucks! Each this was delicious, so delicious. I forgot to take a picture of it and I just ate it. I got the general Tso chicken(which came out very red. I've never had them look like that before.) Beef Lo mein, and the spare ribs. give you big portions for dinner & the food was cooked really fast. The only thing I didn't like was when I called in my order of the person who answered the phone was very blunt & almost rude..

Do not get Mongolian beef. They skimp on the beef and put even more carrots. The customer service is especially bad from the tall Asian man. He is rude, condescending, and arrogant. I had been nothing but cordial to him and he always has attitude. I really don't know why he's rude. The other ppl are not. Again, they give small portions, be aware. The fried rice is also questionable. The " fried rice " that comes with a dish always looks preheated and stale , and they don't even add any vegetables, eggs, or meat. It is just rice that they sauté with, I'm guessing, soy sauce and other typical things they add. Literally just rice. Some of the chicken that was included in the General So also was stale and hard to chew, like it was fried after being fired once. All in all, you get what you pay for. The prices are relatively cheap. Only thing that I recommend are the egg rolls and spring rolls. They can't really mess those up.

Fantastic and cheap, it may have given me a bad reaction but i'm sure it's only my own personal problem where i can't have a mixture of shrimp and chicken. but still the food was good the service was good and the ambience was chill
