We came here for lunch for the first time today. Service was great, not a long wait at all. The burgers were huge and juicy (Ranch BLT & Philly cheesesteak), but the bacon cheese fries were way too salty and soggy. It was a good lunch with plenty of food for leftovers, but the price was pretty expensive. We had 2 burgers, 2 fries, and 2 fountain drinks and it was $51 with tip.

First timer, but not a last timer !!! I don't get to this area often, but this is a great place to dine !!! Voted "Best Burger" last year by the Houston Chronicle !!! The outer and inner decor are cool. Great but simple menu selections. They even have their own bottled soda. I had a Cheeseburger (American Cheese as they don't carry Pepper Jack !!! WTH !!!) with mustard n extra pickles only. It was a delicious burger, and they're huge !!! I only ate half and saved the other half for dinner !!! I also got the Country Fries, which is fries with cream gravy and bacon !!! It was also delicious, and I could only eat half, so I got the other half for dinner !!! The dining room is clean, the staff is friendly, and the wi-fi guest password is hubcapgrill.

Hello Hubcap Grill, it was nice meeting you, finally! The fried zucchini sticks were really good- crunchy on the outside while the zucchini inside were still pretty juicy. The Hubcap Decker was great. It didnt have any of the unnecessary fancy/ crazy stuff. Back to the basics with 2 thick and juicy beef patties and the regular stuff that one would find in classic burgers like lettuce, tomatoes, mayonnaise, cheese (I guess that's it!) the simplest is the best, this was just perfect! The Greek fries were alright, perhaps it was just me who didn't like feta cheese. Hope the owner would consider opening a new location in Sugar Land/ Missouri City!

Burgers:5/5Service:5/5Atmosphere:4/5Excellent burgers that are about 6" around! I'm really glad we decided to enjoy this spot for our Thursday evening dinner treat! We ordered the bacon cheeseburger and mushroom and Swiss burger and ate every bit of it, and we shared some sweet potato fries with a side of ranch (just try it). Not a single piece of food was left on our plates. They have a variety of burgers and you can always pick/add your toppings. Additionally they have fries, cheese fries, and sweet potato fries as well as a ton of sauces to add on for less than a dollar (ranch, blue cheese, hubcap sauce, etc) . They also have lots of beer or soda to choose from if thats what you fancy. The lady assisting us at the counter was friendly and came to check on us while we were eating (which I thought was nice because you order at the window inside and don't have a designated server). We will absolutely be back and we intend to bring our friends here that come into town as well. The ONLY recommendation I have for this place is for the owner/manager to purchase a couple new chairs since some had large rips covered in black duct tape on them. Low cost restaurant chairs of the same quality are about $25 each from searching on the googles ;) and it would show your respect for your business and provide an additional effort of comfort to your guests so they don't have to sit on taped chairs that tickle or irritate their legs. BUT, like I said, we will absolutely be back! Thanks hubcap and staff!!

We loved the food and service at the Hubcap. This is a small chain. There's a new location opening up soon in Santa Fe TX. I think this one's been open a couple years. We showed up right at 11 am and we were the first customers. My wife and grandbaby and I shared the chicken tender basket. Came with crispy fried chicken tenders and fresh cut fries, country gravy and toast.....there was nothing left but a few fries. I had to try the Nola Muffaletta Burger with a beef patty topped with their homemade olice dressing/salad, swiss cheese and a mayo sauce of their own creation. No part of this burger survived it's encounter wit' me. The fries were done to perfection and the fried okra was just as good. We did haves some fries and okra left over, they were too good to leave behind so we snarfed them up for dinner. You order at the counter and they bring it to you in a short length of time. We'll be back.

So glad we have a Hubcap in the area. It's still a little out of the way, so it's quiet, and the hours are a bit limited, but the burgers are still just as good as the original. We easily split a burger and were full, but we also got some chicken tenders (very crispy and juicy) and a side of loaded fries. The sauce in the cheesesteak fries is awesome! The service is worth a call out on its own. It seemed like the woman running the orders was single handedly taking on everything outside of the kitchen, from delivering, bussing, sweeping, and cleaning. She is spectacular and provided better care than most normal sit down places!

First time here. Came in for the $5 cheeseburger special. After I ordered and paid, Heard the waitress say it'll be 45 minute to the next customer. Wish I would have known that before I ordered, I wouldn't have waited 45 minutes for one burger. They were definitely understaffed. Floors were sticky, my tennis shoes were sticking to it every step. Burger was just okay. Nothing out of the ordinary.

3.5 edging to 3.Very torn on the rating here. It was so close to going to 4 star. Stopped in for lunch with the family. I had the Philly cheese steak burger. The bun was thick and dense, but not in a bad way. It did not fall apart or crumble and was able to hold the burger together till the end. The burgers was nicely cooked and had a good amount of the steak on top of the patty. My issues was it was a bit salty, like my first bite it was enough to give me pause. The second issue was that the bell pepper and onions mixed into the Philly meat were a bit small and very few. I was hopping for some nice chunks of the veggies. I think it would have made the burger way better. With all that said I liked the burger, but there were definitely some deficiencies. Family had traditional burgers. They were a good size and were not overly salty, however between the meat being a bit well done and the thickness of the bun they were a bit dry. Kind of needed to dip them in ketchup dry.The last item was the chicken strip basket. They strips were a good size and it came with whit gravy, toast, and fries. All in all a good basket and was not disappointing at all with it.We also shared a basket of fries. They are natural cut fries, and were good. This review is so hard because I think that on a different day this may have been a 5 star review. There are several Specialty burgers that I want to try.I will return to give it a second try.

Finally got the chance to try Hubcap. Located off of Broadway/518 in Pearland. The location is in what used to be Big Humphries, an Italian restaurant that was there for decades. There were a few nods to the past with black and white photos on the wall. Wasn't sure if they were from Big Humphries or Hubcap. As you walk in, hubcaps adorn the wall, and you are greeted to sit anywhere as there is an order counter and no waitstaff. There is a huge selection of specialty burgers and signature fries. There were also off menu appetizers on a board. It did not take me long to choose the Philly Cheesesteak Burger. This was a hard choice as I had my eyes on the corn chip burger, which was definitely a homage to frito pie on a burger. I also went with, I believe, the name was Texas Fries. It was loaded with chili, cheese, pickled jalapenos, onion rings, and buffalo sauce. These were both on a whole different level, and I would characterize these two menu items as outstanding! The other items chosen from my group were the cheetos burger, bbq burger, and standard bacon cheeseburger. I will definitely come back for a visit in the future when In Pearland!

The weekly specials are fantastic, try the fried catfish burger! At least once a week I just don't feel like making dinner and Hubcap is always there to help with a quick meal at a good price. I live 5 minutes away and call in my order before I leave. It's almost always ready as I'm walking into the restaurant.$5 cheeseburger specials, $10 combos on certain weeks. These are fast food prices for a sit down burger. You get much more food for the money, along with friendly & quick service.I'm telling you, the catfish burger is the size of my head. I'll add a photo the next time I get one.
