Shire Distilling

Went there with my boyfriend for a tasting and tour a few months ago. Had their 4 spirits and an amazing tour and talk. All their whiskeys are great and their vodka is the smoothest we've had! My favorite was the Percheron whiskey; I bought a few bottles for us and family. The talk was so informative and fun, and everyone there was so engaging! They also experiment with flavors, etc., which was cool to see, and very special to try! Definitely recommend this place, and the owners are crazy nice. Can't wait to go back again and buy a bottle of their casket strength whiskey.

We did the tour for a friends birthday. Though the distillery is small, I love it. I feel being small you get more one on one hands on attention and you get the opportunity to learn so much more! Everyone was super friendly and answered all our questions! I love that you can go and just hang out there too! Have a drink, shoot some pool, throw some darts, relax.

This place is fantastic! What a hidden gem! You have to try the Shire Fire cinnamon whisky- it is soooooo good. I love to support local and this family is great. I enjoyed the tour and learning how it's all done!

Still getting settled into their new expanded facilities but more importantly still producing those award winning whiskey. Just got my first cask strength Shire Rye, and it is so smooth and complex. Specs does a great job of getting their products out but you will want to get to know the family behind the success by stopping by. Tell them to put it on my tab.

This is a great little distillery making BIG products. I've been to most of the major distilleries in Texas. These guys are veteran ran and making great whiskey. If you love whiskey don't miss this place!

Really nice tour. They really took the time to explain the distilling process. I'm not a huge whiskey drinker but I was very impressed and enjoyed learning about how they get to the final product. This would be a fun place if they start doing events.

Found this distillery through Groupon. Cozy bar area, smooth and tasty dranks, thorough and knowledgeable tour with tasting. You should give them a try!

A friend found this distillery on Groupon so we checked it out. The staff was very friendly and the tour was great!! Loved the small town country vibe! We did a whiskey tasting which was really good....we ended up buying a couple of bottles. I definitely recommend checking this distillery out.
