If you're looking for the best mud bugs, search no further. Red Tailz boiled crawfish are savory and boiled to perfection. My family is from Louisiana and I know what authentic boiled crawfish should taste like and this is it! A slow heat that builds the more you eat. Large size crawfish with great flavor. Our Kids loved to play while the adults ate and had beverages (BYOB). The boiled shrimp were good also.

The crawfish is off the charts good! Only negative is Mike won't give me the recipe to his pink sauce! Seriously though, this place is always clean! Always great service even if they get hit with an unexpected rush these girls and guys kick it into high gear and make sure they take care of everyone as efficiently as possible!! The crawfish has some of the best flavor of any crawfish place around!! If you want some great crawfish, I definitely recommend Red Tailz!!

The crawfish at this establishment don't taste like the typical fare you get in Texas. They are more in line with the way crawfish are prepared in Louisiana. In Texas, the crawfish are often not spicy "inside the shell," but instead are coated only with seasoning on the outside of the shell. In contrast, Red Tailz crawfish tastes more authentic. They're really yummy! Also, the outside atmosphere is great on a pretty day, and it's sorta interesting that the crawfish pond and equipment is also on the premises. Gives the kids something to look at, if the owner gets a chance to show them! When I was there, there were cars lined up all the way down the road. There was a Cajun band playing, and there's an area for kids. Because it's outdoors, pets are allowed. I'll definitely be going back. Very yummy!

If you are looking for the best crawfish, come to Red Tailz. Additionally they have outstanding service, it is kid and pet friendly. If you are like me, you will eat 5 lbs more than your normal serving enjoy!
