"Haven't been here since I first started my current job like 15 years ago when a few of us came while on lunch break. OMG idk why I haven't been back bcz this evening's welcoming service and scrumptiously delicious meal were perfect. Both waitresses were so warm and friendly, and sitting there, you can tell the community loves them and they love the community. Idk how I read the menu wrong and thought i saw and ordered stuffed avocado, but I guess the positive energy in this place knew exactly what I really needed. I was expecting a stuffed fried avocado but when my dinner arrived looking picture perfect, there was no way I wasn't going to enjoy it. It's not very often that I come across a Mexican food establishment that doesn't need a few shakes of salt to bring out the flavors. Antonio's didn't need any at all! Every item was flavored just right (chef's kiss), and the textures and consistencies were oh so nice.Oh, and they have these different flavors of hot sauce on the tables. LET ME TELL YOU!! The Mango Habenero and Papaya Habenero were the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. I can't wait to go back and try more on their menu. Oh, and I was going to see if I could buy a bottle of each hot sauce, but the manager told the waitress to give them to me complimentary. My heart was so surprised and filled with gratitude of such a kind gesture."
"So glad we have an Ostineria Michoacan Seafood and Oyster Bar just south of The Woodlands. No more driving south of Greenspoint for my Mexican Seafood delights. This restaurant is on the southbound feeder after Nursery Rd and the big "Brake Check" sign in the next strip center. This will be the closest to being in a tropical resort way down in Mexico when you read about all the wonderful seafood delights. The menu is in English and Spanish and so are the waitstaff's language. They have cold to hot appetizers, salads, various shrimp entrees, breaded and fried entrees, quail, a variety of authentic Mexican entrees, soups, all kinds of fish and seafood, house specialties including my fav Huachinango de Marciscos. They also have lobster. Kids plates under 12 for $3.50 to $5.95. Lunch specials are available for $5.95 to $11.95 and also come with their special fried rice and yummy French fries. Beer and wine are available including Micheladas. We received a red and green sauce which were both fresh and authentic with chips while waiting for our food. I ordered the Parrillada de Marciscos which came with a whole fried catfish and the most tender, like butter, seafoods which were grilled octopus, squid, shrimp, scallops, and clams. This was served with their fried rice, French fries and toasted bread. This was an incredible meal except that the chef was a little heavy on the salt. My dining partner had the shrimp brochette, beef fajitas, a piece of fish, guacamole, rice beans and choice of tortillas. The refried beans were a bit oily but everything else was very good. My dining partner ordered a house margarita which I thought was too sweet. I personally would upgrade if possible. At 9 pm a disk jockey started playing in the back of the restaurant. They also have 2 TV's up front to watch a game. This place has only been open for a month and a half. It did take a while for our food to come out but not an excessive amount of time. I'll be back for sure!!!Yelp Review #315"

Probably a fan favorite would be the breakfast tacos. The sizes are huge, so prepare to be full on just one or two tacos. Simple menus and english friendly, they were awesome!"
"We stopped at el Tiempo on a Saturday for lunch. It's located conveniently near Sun and Ski.I started with a house margarita. Very good and it had a couple of shots included. Not bad for the price. We ordered some queso as an appetizer. The queso was quite good, we also enjoyed the green sauce. The red salsa has a good kick to it, and was too spicy for my wife and kid.I ordered the crab enchilada lunch portion and enjoyed the creamy goodness. ET did not skimp on the crab meat, either. I would order this entree again. My wife had a salad and my daughter had the fajitas. Neither of them was impressed with the fajita meat seasoning. No problems with service. Water were filled and the food came quickly.Overall, I enjoyed my meal, but my wife and daughter do not think they will return to this location."
"Absolutely hands-down a great business. We used Angie's for catering a group of 30ish people and were so very happy with the service we received from beginning to end. The price was very fair, the food tasted amazing and we received many compliments. They delivered it to our home and were very respectful. When going into the restaurant to place my order I found the restaurant and staff to be welcoming. Loved the ambiance it felt like you were visiting Abuela's house.Lovely people, great food and top notch service!"
"We finally made it here. After many people have recommended us come check it out. Pozole is so delicious, haven't found a good Pozole and can't wait to come back and try menudo. Had a taco(carne Asada) and it was the perfect street taco. So good. Then came the flautas. Chicken was so good on the inside and perfectly crisps! 10/10 recommend! The place is small so not great for big parties but definitely take it to your party. Service is great. When you order she made sure to check if we needed a drink. My fiancé got a beer so he was so happy."
"Ran as a family owned establishment. The lady at the front was kind, yet a boss. Lol. Open and inviting. About that business and serving with accuracy. The people waiting in line is enough to tell you that the food is good and that it's worth the wait. (It was.) I like the vibe but you can't wear your feelings on your sleeve. Good to know it's here. I'll return again, but will order ahead of time for sure."
"Funny story.... I was apart of the first crew when this placed first opened. At the time it was a long John Silver/ Taco Bell. Worked here for almost 2 years. I was 16 almost turning 18. I came here on a whim from a terrible day at work Friday night. I was soooo hungry and too exhausted to cook. I ordered a chicken taco salad and a power steak borrito.. I literally went through the drive through at 6:36 and left 2 mintutes past 7pm with 3 cars infront of me. Extremely slow service. They looked understaffed for a friday night. I understand how working there can be with the drive through especially. I swear I was a master at some point... But being this slow tells me that there werent enough employees working. Not cool Taco bell. Especially if youre all not slammed."
"I had the Tacos a la Mexicana (2 beef tacos, some salad with avocado, rice, and beans on the side) and it was delicious. I wish the tacos had some kind of wet dressing on them, because the tacos were a little dry. Even salsa would've been nice. The meat was very flavorful. A friend had chile con queso that I tried, and it was very good.A group of 12 of us went on a Sunday 1pm, and though the restaurant was busy, we got a table promptly without wait. Plenty of parking outside the restaurant. Kind and prompt waiters."
"Great food and very friendly staff. We love this is a family owned business and it shows. We've never had a bad meal. Prices are reasonable. We've been eating here for years."
"I don't come here often but decided to stop by after working out at the gym. I ordered the beyond meat chicken burrito. To my surprise it was delicious! I couldn't tell that it wasn't real chicken at all! So good!I came back later that week and ordered two piece chicken. And it was not fresh at all! I was so upset because I had a great experience the first time. They gave me a dry breast and a half of a wing. How you give someone half of a wing and not notice? Lol So my experiences were completely different. One was great and the other sucked :-( :-( :-("

It was good, nice quiet spot for lunch. Plenty of hit sauce varieties. Staff was polite and the food was ok. Was anything wrong with it? No. I have had better.

If you want some authentic Mexican seafood, this is your place! My family and I came here 3 different times last week. We had the same waitress all 3 times and she was very nice and helpful. They're willing to work with you on any adjustments to your order that you may need or want. I am positive we will be back at some point!

This place is budget friendly, nice and clean. The food is wonderful. Don't be fooled by the outside of the place. You can dine in or to go the food. I got the plate with 2 meat(they load you up on meat), rice, beans and a drink for almost $9. Love this place consider myself a loyal customer LOL

My first time dinning at this new location for El Tiempos. Very nice. I went in there for an early Brunch or lunch. Realized that Brunch is only served on Sundays. No biggie. I enjoyed having my little taquitos of beans and cheese and flour tortillas. Yummy. Hit the spot. Like all El Tiempos locations, this one is super nice and decorated beautifully. Staff and service was on point. I had my lunch at the bar and my Bartender was awesome. I'll definitely be back. Forks up for this El Tiempos!!

We ordered Door Dash one night when we were too lazy to cook and wanted some Mexican food and I remembered my neighbor said they like this restaurant, so we tried it. It was very good, hubby loved the queso and we both enjoyed our combo plates.

Decided to try it out after passing a few times and it looked pretty busy inside. I went with a basic barbacoa corn taco order and it lacked taste and texture. Therapy was dry and not even salt helped. The salsa was too watery and no taste either. The handmade tortillas were good but that was it. I was not impressed by the tacos and that makes me wonder if the rest of the food may lack taste as well.

Food is old when I can get what I want... never has nacho fries. Also just now when I tried to get food, the person that was taking my order was rude AF to the point where I purposely gave attitude back to them. First when I ordered nacho fries which was all I wanted, they were out as usual. I asked for a minute to look at the menu, and after like 30 seconds the person was like ARE YOU READY? So I just said NO loudly to match them. Then when I asked for two items that were listed as new, they said they don't sell those anymore, so I was like, the ones labeled as new? They responded with WE DONT SELL THOSE ANYMORE, again, loudly and clearly irritated. I responded by telling them I thought they would have it since it's listed as new and they just said no we just haven't taken it down. What cleft annoyed.
Visit Restaurant Page"Love me some PapaMex!This is my absolute go-to for breakfast tacos when visiting the Texas homeland! The big debate has ALWAYS been Papa or Bob's, and I'm sorry but Papa wins every single time, just something about their tortillas, the hot sauce and just the overall experience. PapaMex has never changed, always great!"
"A little gem of an establishment with some of the best tasting authentic food. Very friendly staff, and owners are hands on. Ambience is very casual with nice music playing and truthful quotes all over the restaurant. Nice Houston decor all over. Seems everyone knows everyone here and you might meet important people. Many locals visit this restaurant even though it doesn't have much space but people don't mind sharing their tables with others. I ordered the guisado de puerco and it was really tender and delicious. Very rare to find a restaurant serving this dish tasting so authentic. It came with rice, beans, and two tortillas which were homemade. Your choice of corn or flour tortillas but you only get two. Chips were just ok, no salt, sauce was good but could be spicier. I really liked this place and truly recommend coming. Others in our party ordered the guisado de res, chile relleno and barbacoa tacos which also looked very good. Servings are plentiful. I will be back to try other options soon. I just loved it and am glad to have eaten here thanks to Pct. 2."
"We came here for a late night dinner. The service was nice. The speed was quick. The food was great, and great portions. Lots of parking in the front. The only downside is to bring cash to avoid added card tax."
"Smaller portions. There are about a million places in Houston to get a Margarita and Fajitas to go. Beto's is conveniently located at a quick hop onto The Grand Parkway West.Quick, Friendly Service. Marg was ok, nothing special. Beef fajitas were cut much shorter than the usual. Tasted great and easier to put on nachos."
"Yes, the tacos are tasty, but the FRIES are what I can't stop thinking about! Can't go wrong with queso on fries."
"This is an amazing unpretentious North Mexican (Monterrey) based place. The food taste is autentica! There is no frozen food deliveries by SYSCO FOODS!!! (thank god). The owner buys fresh produce and meats himself. This is the equivalent of Mom's Cooking place, albeit North Mexico style. The prices are very reasonable!*** THIS IS NOT A TEX-MEX PLACE *** This is a north Mexican place, so please change your mental axis and if you want your food spiced up, do let them know.....The reason I say this is a few people have posted wrong ratings not understanding the difference between a Tex-Mex taco place and a northern Mexico tostaderia!"
"Popped in for a quick dinner. I liked the ease of getting to 4 Amigos versus the traffic around Broadway and how packed the main chain restaurants get. The combo quesadillas were reasonably priced considering the large portion you receive in comparison to other places around town. They do not skimp on the meat and cheese. Everything came out fresh and hot. An added plus it came when rice and beans. Service was quick and staff was attentive. Interested in coming back for breakfast tacos. There's options from potato & egg, chorizo & egg, or sausage & egg."
"I have been looking for birria tacos near my house and job and today I ordered from this place and the tacos are really good, fresh and I also ordered strawberry/lemonade Aqua Frescas. Other places usually make them too watery but this one was nice and sweet. I will be ordering from here on a regular."
"This is where they filmed the movie Oston Powers. There are a lot of bad reviews for this place, and it gets a lot of hate and negativity, but I think that overall it's a nice Mexican seafood place, and while personally I didn't love my meal, I did like it, and I would definitely give it three stars for being a local business and being decent. However, I gave an extra star because some of the awful reviews just seem fake to me and it's definitely not bad enough to have such a low star rating. Also, it's beloved by many. It's really popular so somebody must like it. And I do, for one. Barbie as well."
"I ordered this the other day with some coworkers. They do deliver, I believe you have to order over $5 to use a credit card which is not hard to do. I ended up getting the Tuesday special which was 2 soft tacos, your choice of meat of course, and it came with rice and beans and a small salad/guac mix. Everything tasted pretty good but was super greasy. The chicken was pulled chicken, tortillas were slightly soggy, but did come with extra ones on the side, small win! I also got a coke, so it came with an ice cup too! (I suggest checking the ice cup for water bc mine would definitely have made my coke watery! But it happens, it's hot outside). It came with 2 sauces, I'm not really a sauce person but both were spicy to me so if you like that kind of thing, you'll enjoy them! It's cheap and tasted good so I'll definitely be ordering again!"
"The cook was super friendly and nice. He was talking to me like he had been knowing me for forever... He let me try the Salvadoran drink that reminds me of the the Nicaraguan drink Pinolío. Yum!! I had 3 pork and cheese pupusas and they were delicioso!!!!!! A little hole in the wall that offers a familial environment."
"Without a doubt, this is my favorite breakfast taco place. We go here every weekend without fail. The ladies are nut bueno! I always get the chorizo, egg & cheese and the carne guisada. The salsas are good but the habanero salsas is my favorite, amazing flavor."
"This place is amazing! 10/10 would recommend. The service is always top notch! They have daily specials and happy hour. Also, they play such good music. Makes me feel like I'm back at moms house for a family party! This spot has a super authentic feel and the inside is well maintained and modern. The fajitas are delicious and always come out sizzling! The street tacos are all amazing. And you have to try the dorado tacos. Crispy cheesy goodness all around! I forget who the name of the girl that's always behind the bar but she is super sweet and always remembers my drink orders. Lorena is also a really great server. Everyone is so charming and I'm pretty sure it's locally owned. You should definitely eat here -- Support your local businesses!"
"We had lunch here yesterday for the first time before heading out to run errands. We were seated right away since there was not a wait. The staff was quick to greet us with delicious chips and salsa while our waitress took our drink order. My boyfriend and I ordered the molcajete which came with beef and chicken fajitas, shrimp and melted cheese in salsa. The molcajete came with rice and beans, guacamole and pico which were all fresh. Our son ordered the street tacos which also came with rice and beans. The food was delicious and service was great. I'm glad we arrived when we did because once we got our food, the place started to fill up QUICK. We will definitely be back!!"
"I came here for lunch and it is a lovely place for a quiet meal during the week! Our server was very attentive and polite. The lunch specials are reasonably priced. I got the enchilada special which comes with one enchilada (I got the traditional chocolate mole sauce with chicken)and refried beans and rice. The mole sauce had a great flavor and the rice and beans were delicious. I liked how the portions were just right and didn't leave me feeling stuffed! We also asked for chips and salsa. The chips were well seasoned and the salsa was nice and fresh. Definitely an authentic Mexican meal. I highly recommend trying this place!"
"I can't wait to go back to visit Houston just for this restaurant! I am still dreaming of that fish. This is a must try restaurant!"
"Stopped by after our game and it was quick seating, a few people mostly waiting for to-go. Super friendly staff. We ordered the taquitos, stir fry beef and half chicken with rice. All food came out hot and fresh. Everything was good and flavorful. Small menu but they know what they are doing with the dishes on there."
"I stopped here to pick up a chicken to take home for dinner. The service was fast and friendly. I am fairly sure the man in the truck speaks little English, but he was quite nice and eager to serve me despite my badly accented choppy Spanglish. The whole roasted chicken I ordered was $10. It came chopped up in breasts, thighs and wings and with nicely roasted onions and jalepenos, as well as corn tortillas and a bowl of beans. I requested salsa verde with mine, and it was provided at no extra charge. I didn't inquire about red salsa, but I'm sure they have that, too. The breast pieces were a tad dry, but the meat pulled right off the bones. The skin was flavorful and smoky, and not at all greasy. The menu also offered tacos and other dishes, but the whole chicken seemed like the best value to me. This is closer to my house, fresher, larger portions and tastier than a rotisserie chicken from Kroger or Randalls. I encourage you to give it a shot for a quick take home dinner. The small business owner will appreciate it!"
"Went to meet my sister and aunt for lunch. I haven't been there since I was a teen. My sister and Aunt both had menudo and I had beef enchiladas. I made the wrong choice! I got some menudo from my sister and honestly, that's the best menudo I've ever had! You can drink the broth alone because it has a delicious flavor. The tripe was very moist and not rubbery like other places as well. That's all I'll be ordering from here on out. Very legit spot."
"The cocktails are great. The service and staff are fantastic. But portion sizes are small. I got a Parilla for 2 for example. It definitely was the portion size for 1. Then again as an American, maybe we shouldn't need large portion sizes."
"we ordered online and where waiting for the pick up. they only gave us four out of eight drinks (one of them being a cup of ice) and when we asked the worker for our other drinks AND THE ICE they just looked at eachother like they didnt work there. they came back with three drinks and no cup of ice, we asked again could we get a cup of ice and the worker proceeded to lift his hand to his forehead and roll his eyes. very rude but taco bell is bomb AF"
"I had a great night out with my besties. The happy hour swirl margarita was so good! I also had the Chicken Gabriella! So delicious! The service was good too. Andrea took good care of us. The girls really recommended this place and I'll definitely be going back!"
"I ordered the Taco Al La Ninfa's Beef with Mexican rice, Charro beans, Pico de Gallo, Chile Con Queso, Guacamole. It was totally delicious! I have not been to Ninfa's in years. The food looked so good and hot that I forgot to take a picture. Our Server, Sergio, was on top of it. He brought us water without asking for it. His service was Awesome, just like our food. The experience was a ten."
