"I came here for lunch and it is a lovely place for a quiet meal during the week! Our server was very attentive and polite. The lunch specials are reasonably priced. I got the enchilada special which comes with one enchilada (I got the traditional chocolate mole sauce with chicken)and refried beans and rice. The mole sauce had a great flavor and the rice and beans were delicious. I liked how the portions were just right and didn't leave me feeling stuffed! We also asked for chips and salsa. The chips were well seasoned and the salsa was nice and fresh. Definitely an authentic Mexican meal. I highly recommend trying this place!"
"Food was great! Had to have the tequeno on the ride home. Arepas are messy but worth it. Service was good and quick. The total was roughly $35 (tip included)."

I've taken some friends here a couple of times and EVERYONE loves their food. My favorite is their cecina, it's flavorful & tender. Their quesadilla tortillas are handmade of fresh masa & deep fried, they're pretty big- hard to find too, they're topped off with lettuce, queso fresco on top of their meat and melted cheese. Their tortas are huge and good too."
"I had a great time with my family. Drinks were fantastic! The food was superb. I hadn't ever had a Cuban tamale but if this is what they taste like I love them. Our server was nice & attentive. No problems what's so ever. Don't hesitate to give it a try."
"This review is based on a single weeknight visit during Happy Hour. Yay!I usually don't think that cheaper means better, but tacos, tostadas and other handheld Tex-Mex treats can be had here for merely a song during the early evening hours. And the food is actually good! (Red salsa served warm, and that's a no-no in my book. But most people like it, so you're probably in luck.)The beer and other drinks were also flowing at much-discounted prices. Bottom line: When you can grab some legitimate eats and drinks for the same price as the drive-thru mega burger chain down the street, it's a no-brainer."
"Just ok. Service can be slow as depending on what order they decide to wait on people, you can be first but yet still last. Some drinks better than others. Interesting pepper drink, but if you are going to have coffee drinks brew hot coffee. Lukewarm is pretty awful. Three people behind the bar but only one makes eye contact to help you."
"I mean is good breakfast, good coffee, doesn't disappoint but it does not amaze me either, just another American dining spot, it's a good option, I was surprised of the good cocktail selection i had a couple and they were good.Harrys good spot 3 stars and that's all.++++++(GET THE COLADA MORADA tho, made my day)++++++"
"Great service. Nicely presented food. I had the Daily Special which was a bit mediocre... Regular fare of rice, beans, slaw, and several bony chunks of deep-fried meat that I took to be pork carnitas. I recommend this place and look forward to trying some of the other items on the menu."
"El quetzal is unmatched when it comes to latin breads! My family has been buying from these guys for so long. Growing up there was always quetzal bread on our table. I have sent so many people to el quetzal over the years nd they have all been satisfiedKeep up the great work guys!"
"Hands down my favorite place for pupusa. I've been here durning the week and weekend and never experienced a wait, probably due to the large dinning area. This is a family owned and operated place so don't be surprised when you see young teenagers busing tables. Menu is in Spanish with English text under everything. Servers don't speak the best English but good enough to get your orde right. Food does take some time to come out only because everything is homemade and from scratch. Plates come out super hot and full of flavor. I recommend this place to all my friends."
"Location 4Parking 3Ambience 4Cleanliness 4Décor 4Prices 4Menu selection 5Service 4Food 3This family friendly restaurant is very nice and has quite a lineup of Mexican and Texican food at competitive prices. This was my first visit. I was brought here by some friends. this is more Texican than Mexican. I have lived in Mexico and have traveled extensively throughout Mexico for many years. I suppose that affected my expectations. I smiled at the item called "crispy tacos" which were served in American style taco shells. Their American clients will expect those for sure due to Taco Bell's influence. To their credit, the tortillas were freshly made and were wonderful. The aguas frescas were also great. I recommend the pineapple flavored. The service was friendly and efficient. However I was disappointed with my order of carne guisada which was more of stewed meat in a gravy rather than the traditional Mexican style sauce which has tomatoes, onions, garlic, some kind of chili pepper and often chunks of carrot or potato. My friends immediately saw that it was not like Mexican carne guisada and offered me to order something else. I did not want to make a fuss, so I just mixed some salsa in with the gravy which helped it. My friends ordered the #1, the Jalisco plate, with which I probably would have been more pleased. The menu is quite extensive and I'm sure there are other entrées I would have enjoyed more. Next time I will probably try the chile relleno. I think it's kind of a hit or miss unless you know what to order. The décor was great. I loved the mural of the maguey field, a common site in the State of Jalisco. I would be glad to try them again. I just won't order the meat with gravy they call "carne guisada.""

Hidden Gem! Authentic, Amazing, Mexican food. The Uli's tacos are an absolute party in your mouth of flavors that blend beautifully. The guacamole is freshly made, creamy, and garnished with queso fresco, radish slices, and pomegranate seeds. Yum! The ELOTES DE LA CALLE was too tasty to have just one piece per person. Per the menu it is 4 mini street style corn on the cobb with epazote, lime aioli, queso, and chile de Arbol powderWe also had the SHRIMP AGUACHILE VERDE, Sweet, tender shrimp, pickled red onion, cucumber, and avocado in a serrano habanero lime sauce. Having just returned from the Yucatán peninsula I can attest to the authenticity and the freshest I've had anywhere in the greater Houston area.

The food here is absolutely disgusting! I ordered beef with white rice and red beans. When I say the meat was rubbery , no seasoning at all, the beans were tough hard to swallow. The best part of the meal , well the only eatable part of that meal was the rice. The service not so great. It's safe to say I will not be returning here

We were looking for a casual outing for a birthday meal and I found this place searching on Yelp for last minute steak night suggestions on a Monday of all days. Got ready and headed there immediately after 20 minutes of discovery lol. Spacious parking lot on a weekday. It was not packed and was very easy to find. Customer service was non existent when we first walked in. The lighting was already dim and the music playing had dark tones so for people to completely ignore us felt unwelcoming. There were around four bartenders by the bar area but no one greeted us and we stood awkwardly for a couple of seconds before deciding to walk up to the bar and placing our order. Besides that small hiccup, the night went pleasantly well. Our steaks were delicious and very flavorful. The meat was tender and moist. The guy that served us our steaks noticed that our salads didn't come out and asked if we still wanted them which I felt was really awesome, because to be honest, I completely forgot that it was part of the order lol. I'm so glad he did because I devoured it in minutes. It was that good. They also did not skimp on the mashed potatoes which I loved! All in all, a chill place to vibe with friends and get a good steak if you're not feeling too chatty. Don't expect super friendly peeps.

Yay, got to try Harry's!! So many years of driving by, always rushing to get somewhere. But now I totally get why there is always a line out the door here. First, the service was just delightful. Our waitress was a ray of sunshine, efficient, friendly, and knew when to check in and when not to. Hard to find, gotta say. The sunny side up eggs were perfect. Nothing beats a beautiful runny yolk. The bacon...OMG, perfectly crispy thick cut slabs of cured goodness. Another OMG dish was the grits (forgot the pic, sorry). Yes, the grits. Creamy without being too buttery or greasy, well seasoned...so good!

Staff is kind and attentive! Food is authentic, flavorful, and served beautifully presented as well. Definitely recommend this place if you love Peruvian cuisine (or would like to try it)."

"Tasty but small portion for the price. On weekends, wait can be quite long as each meal is cooked to order and there's a tiny kitchen with one chef."
"Nice place overall. The plate that I had was very average. If you're hungry this is an ok place to stop at. They should definitely invest in a liquor license, that is holding this place back for sure. You know how many more tacos intoxicated ppl eat.... ijs."
"Located inside a strip center on the very corner is this "La Fiesta Restaurant" and let me tell you the entire experience here was excellent!! Vibrantly Decorated and even better Musica in the background!! Playing traditional selections that matched the traditional plates and cuisine!! Everything was Delicious from the handmade Salsa and Chip's to the Nachos! Huge portions and very reasonable prices as well. Table service right away and they even have outdoor space too. (Too Hot )Designated parking spaces around the perimeter plus ample parking elsewhere. Again Delicious Authentic dishes and saborso comida!! Loved the whole experience and we will definitely come back here again!! Muchos Gracias Amigos"
"The food is always flavorful and delicious. Great, fast service and the restaurant is always clean. I always order online and it's ready quickly. I LOVE that they pack the sides separately so the juices don't mix."
"My wife and I decided to try this restaurant out for the first time. It's not much to look at from the outside but the food is really tasty. We ate the Coco chicken. It was wonderful and not overwhelmingly spicy. The servers don't speak much English but the food was worth it. We got an extra order of the handmade corn tortillas."
"I think this place is under appreciated because not many people were here during lunch. Most likely it's because it's in an odd location and the only hint of its existence is a Honduran flag flying near the entrance to this strange looking building. You'll have to have a good eye while passing by, be referred by someone, or specifically search for Honduran food on yelp to find this place. Don't be shy to give this place a try. It's actually a small and very neat restaurant. I tried seafood soup. It came with rice and two small tortillas. It was pretty awesome. Made with coconut milk, its like curry but not like Indian or Thai curry. It had a chunk of crab, some shrimp, banana, and other vegetables in it. (Insert smile face emoticon with hearts for eyes here.) This place is legit. I will be back to try some more things. Order at the counter and pay when you're done. Prices are very reasonable."
"First time having Peruvian food & was not disappointed! Started out with a chicken tamel and the chicha morada (purple corn drink) really enjoyed both. The chicha morada is served with pears in it and is kind of sweet but not too much. The chips are served with a green sauce & a spicy sauce & are super tasty! For entree I had basically a beef stew served with rice and red onions. The beef was super tender and overall I was impressed. My friends dish had fried plantains which were really good. Overall a good experience. Really wanted to try the desserts but was so full from the other food. They have good dessert options for sure. Will definitely come back here."
"They are so rude!!!! The food takes forever, they do not tend to woman, they only tend to the men. They are sooo rude to English speakers! I don't speak Spanish, constantly rude because she can't understand me. When you call to place a to-go order the lady asked me if I spoke Spanish and when I said NO she hung up!!! Terrible terrible service! Trash can. So flipping rude and racist. I'll never come here or order here again. Only come here if your a Spanish speaking MALE!"
"Love this place! It's like a chipotle but obviously for tacos! lolYou can choose any protein that you like and the toppings!I got 3 tacos (shrimp ceviche, carne asada, and chicken)The shrimp was my favorite. You can order to go, or sit inside and eat. Plenty of space and tables/seats.Bathroom could prob use a good cleaningDrinks are also available, as well as a bar. Street parkingI want one of these in my area !"
"I've had my share of breakfast tacos in the area. And Jalapeno Joe's is by far the best! The soft tortillas, the fluffy eggs, the tender meats, the melted cheese... makes me want to drool as I write this. Don't be hesitant to try it just because it's right next to a gas station. You'll regret not giving this place a try! They charge their breakfast tacos based on how many items you get in it. If you ask me, go for as many as you like because the price difference is only a few cents. I've had sausage, egg, cheese, chorizo, potato, beans, bacon, and all the mix & matches you can come up with. I've also had their beef fajita tacos, barbacoa tacos, pastor tacos, and guisada tacos with my sister. All were great! All the meats were tender and flavorful. The only thing I disliked were the beans. Got a bean & cheese taco once and didn't like it as much as other places. But all the other ones were soooo good.I never really go in that direction so I don't get Jalapeno Joe's as often as I'd like to. But if you get the chance, give them a try!"
"Pretty cool spot!Last minute invite to a new hidden gem. Place it's a restaurant but as you go in there is a hidden bar behind a cool painting. One in dancing area, place is small but pretty chill. They have drinks flowing and hookah. Overall great spot and great place to hang out."

"This place is great with the best pupusas! I will definitely come by to enjoy all the refreshments and seafood is 2 thumbs up by far!"
"Yummy food for the family! I adore coming here when aim in town. It takes the crown for carnitas and service. People know how to treat others here. Respect is key. They have everything you want and more."
"This was a small place off of bammel and beltway8. The owner was super friendly. The food took a long time to make as do most pupusa restaurants. That just goes to show that everything is freshly made. The pupusas were a little smaller than i'm used to at other places. They seemed to be heavier on the meat side and very light on the cheese side. The curtido here had a different flavor than i'm used to. I think it had a lot of oregano in it. I was also surprised they had 2 different kinds of salsa. Their green salsa was SUPER spicy so be careful."
"If you don't know about this hidden treasure--you have been missing out. Everything from the homemade salsa, the Texas plate, the queso, and the traditional Mexican desserts. The place is so clean! And here is the real surprise--they serve sweet tea that is better than bbq joints. This is one of the best Mexican restaurants I have been to."
"Great place to go with excellent tacos. Little food truck that tastes great. Open pretty much 24 hours."
"I was sitting next door getting gas when I noticed this place. Having never noticed it, I did a quick spot-check on Yelp - only 2 reviews, but they were solid. So...I decided perform my customary community service and check the place out.I ordered a few things off the menu - some tacos, a pupusa, and a kids quesadilla for my son. When the food came out, I was mildly prepared on what to expect. The tacos:The tortilla was at or near perfection. It had the perfect balance of texture, flavor, and temperature. I could have eaten there by themselves and been happy. The contents of the tacos were all very flavorful and temperature hot - the taco contents were well equipped, quantity wise. Very happy with the tacos. The pupusa:*Moment of silence* followed by *fireworks*Geez this thing was good. Between the flavor and the arm workout of stretching the cheese clear over my head when I broke it apart - this thing was amazing. Cheesiness everywhere. I loved everything about this place and can't wait to come back and explore the menu in deeper fashion. If you're in the parking lot about to go into another restaurant or even worse - on a waiting list at another restaurant - upgrade your experience and come to La Patrona Cocina Latina instead!!"
