It was a generally small store located inside Hong Kong Market on Bellaire Blvd. We came during their first month of opening so our experience on service might not be relevant (hopefully). The service was super slow and very unorganized. We purposely came on a Monday to avoid the weekend crowds. The uncle who took our order (whom I think was also the owner) couldn't even explain the difference between Banh Canh Dac Biet vs. the other types of Pork Banh Canh in their menu. We ordered 2 Banh Canh Dac Biet & 1 Combo 3 Mon. He wrote it down but still took him & the kitchen lady several confirmations back and forth on our order and what else we are waiting for. The tables around us also experienced the same. Food took quite a long time to come out. The banh canh tasted a lot better than it looked. Even though I honestly can't tell what is the difference between this Dac Biet & their regular Banh Canh Gio Heo since our bowl also had just 1pc of gio heo & 1 small slice of meat, I was quite impressed with the flavorful and unique taste of the broth. The combo 3 items with their signature banh trang phoi suong was not that impressive. Their banh trang is surely different but they were overly chewy and a bit too dry. I personally feel like the foods are quite overpriced for the portions they provide and also not justifiable for the services. Even though I do like their banh canh's flavorful broth, it's not enough for me to come back.

I was a little bit concerned before trying this place since it has a lot of bad reviews. However, I am very glad that I gave it a try today. The owner and the employees there were very nice and care about their customers. My order was ready in 5 minutes, I was surprised because they made the food very quickly. When I had the first bite, I remembered my Saigon so much. The price was affordable, too. So, please don't hesitate to give this place a try.

Phục vụ quá tệ: chờ đợi, chậm chạp, hời hợt, vô trách nhiệm. Xếp hàng ăn trưa mất 15 phút. Chờ 30 phút vẫn chưa thấy tô bánh canh ra. Hỏi thì nói hết trơn. Tốn mất gần 1 tiếng để ăn cái tức.

My wife was raving about this place for over a month before they opened as there isn't a place that offers these types of wraps that we know of. It carries the good reputation in Vietnam for serving delicious wraps and it's exotic greens.Their grand opening was offering a BOGO dine in offer of their specialty items of wraps and soups. We got the pork hock and beef shank. Both choices were equally tender and good. The wraps were perfect and didn't explode on you for wrapping a thick wrap.Sauces were good and the egg roll (cha gio) was wrapped in the same wrapper and dusted with Panko for that extra crispiness and dipped in what looks like a sriracha mayonnaise.Nice touch. As The terminator would say, "I'll be back!" Literally tomorrow because they sold out on the first day and we were so stuffed that we gotta try out their other items. It is on the pricey side so after this honeymoon period with the BOGO promotion going on I don't know how busy they'll be.They're located inside the Hong Kong 4 food court across from Shabu Zone (2nd last stall)My wife an I took these 2 dishes down like nothing, although the owner said that a plate is usually good enough for two but it should really be shared so order 2 of something different if you want to share.-----Updated:So I came here again for the second day in a row as I mentioned we had to try the fried fish. I couldn't see what kind of fish this was but the owner described it as Tilapia. We ordered the small which was enough for my wife and I. A bit pricey as I mentioned compare to other places serving a fish dish for wrapping. It was tasty. Now I'm going to leave my review at 4 star because I think there is potential in this place but they need to figure out their service a bit better because they are very disorganized and it's understandable for just being their 3rd opened day but they need to regroup and figure out what went wrong the first couple of days and improve or their reputation on other social media is currently dragging them down. They messed up a few orders because they don't have a system keeping track of what was ordered for which table number and what had already came out. We'll be back again when they're entire menu is available but I'll be a bit harsher as we provided some constructive criticism for the service. So please improve.

This place is hard to find, tucked away deep inside Hong Kong. Banh Trang Trang Bang was phenomenal, would highly recommend that as the dish of choice. Highly recommended if you like to make your own rolls. It's that sort of dish it's worth sitting down and share with family and/or friends. Good customer service. Definitely recommended!

We came here for lunch today and ordered the boiled pork hock with veggies wrap. The server said it's enough for 2 people. $19.99. The fermented fish sauce was good. Veggies included were green leaf lettuce, bean sprouts, rice paddy herbs, mints, chives, cucumber, dấp cá, cilantro & pickled carrots, daikon & củ kiệu. Sufficient amount of veggies for this season. I also wanted to try Bánh Canh Đặc Biệt. $12.99. This came out with very little noodles, 2 pieces of bone-in pork hock & a few slices of boiled pork hock. The broth was really good. The noodles were thinner than regular bánh canh; however, this dish is way too pricy for its portion. I mean my 5yo could finish this portion. The 2 of us finished both dishes and yet we weren't quite full. The food came out pretty quickly since there were only 2 other parties in the restaurant. After we were done eating and my companion went to the counter to pay, I stood up so that we could leave right away.... I was caught by surprise that there was a young guy, perhaps related to owner/manager, that came to our table to clean up right away. He looked at the table & saw that we left around 2 or 3 bánh tráng phơi sương (wrappers) not eaten. He immediately took the pack back to their food cart & put it back in. With his bare hands!!! Wasn't he going to clean the table with his bare hands??? The food cart contained pre-prepared items that were going to the next customers & not a trash bin! THE HORROR!!! OMG, have they been recycling their uneaten food?!!! In this COVID era? I gave this review 2 stars for the tastiness of the food & how fast everything came out, but for sure we won't be coming back for recycled food, no matter how delicious the food was.

I was a big fan of Hoang Ty restaurant in Sai Gon so I definitely have to check out this place in Houston. The rice paper was definitely authentic. The price for the a servicing of pork with rice paper was reasonable and plenty of herbs and veggie was a nice bonus. My only suggestion is the sauce could have been better to match the taste in Sai Gon. Definitely would be back with my family

Good spring roll, meat, and sauce. The meat was homemade and the rice paper is a special imported from Vietnam. Gave lots of vegetables which I loved. Not a lot of people but service was good.
