"My daughter and I were riding around early Sunday morning and stumbled across this place. It's on a strip next to a gas station and a few other small shops. The lady behind the counter was kind and took care of us quickly. They offer not only donuts but also breakfast sandwiches on croissants. I enjoyed the food and appreciate the quick service."
"Why 5 stars? Because the donuts and kolaches really hit the spot for us. --- --- ---My in-laws live pretty far out in Montgomery where there aren't a ton of great eateries conveniently located right outside their neighborhood. Where my parents live in Friendswood, it's actually not super challenging to find a decent snack or twelve nearby. And very high on that list of snacks are donuts and kolaches - something my wife and I eat our weight in when we are visiting family in Houston. Sitting in the in-law's kitchen, looking on Yelp at options nearby, there wasn't much to be excited about - there was Troy and not a whole-lot else. But even through Troy was close, it was only 3.5 stars. Fine, when you're in the sticks, you're options are limited. But it turns out, Troy Donuts was pretty awesome! There's a decent amount of kolaches to choose from, including boudain and Chappell Hill sausage, which certainly are not found at every donut shop. Speaking of donuts, they were very Shipley's-esque, which is a good thing. The only weird part of our experience is that they had a sign on the door that says that they have Thai Tea, with a big picture of it. When I asked the woman behind the counter for a Thai Tea, she goes.... "Oh... I don't know how to do that. I can try, but I will warn you that I've never made it before, so I can't guarantee how it will turn out." That was unfortunate, because my wife loves Thai Tea, but it would have been a bonus/surprise, since she was not expecting me to come home with that. Still, you'd think one of the people working here would know how to make something on the menu?Despite that small hiccup, I could see us visiting Troy Donuts every year around Christmas. Troy, see ya next December!"

I tried the biscoff donut today - and all I can say is OMG. The folks here are so nice and attentive - you can't go wrong with anything you get!"
"Small kolache store off of 59. Donuts are cooked well and taste like Shipleys. The jalapeño sausage kolaches are solid. The Boudain kolache is a bit bland and heavy, I forgot to consider it was rice wrapped in bread..."
"Love love love love love love love love love this little donut shop! Can the church pray with me? Lord, I failed on my diet while in Texas, but forgive me for I did know what I was doing but I needed to try this donut shop out as it kept looking at me. God forgive me for I have failed this diet. My honesty hopefully will keep me in your heaven. A prayer, praise what more is needed? Hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah! Drops mic"
"this place is amazing. The staff is super friendly and the donuts are great . When I'm in the area I always stop by ."
"Decided to stop in here and give this little do shop some love and be the first review. Plus, I was really craving a kolache. The place was really small but very clean with a wide variety of donuts and kolache and other breakfast sandwich options. I went with the large jalapeno cheese kolaches and they were absolutely amazing. The jalapenos were actually cooked into the meat versus just thrown inside the bread. The bread was on point. Perfectly buttered sweetened yummy goodness. all I ordered was the kolaches but they were nice enough to throw some donut holes in the bag with it. Seems like a small task but is very thoughtful seeing as how this never happens anywhere else. Anyone in the area needs to come by and give this place a shot. Show them some Yelp love just like I did, you won't be disappointed."
"What a fun new place opening in the rapidly growing town of Magnolia. With a menu focused on coffee, mini donuts and ice cream, this is a welcome addition. The donuts are cooked to order and have a menu of two dozen or so "favorites" but they are open to whatever creativity you bring to the table. They are new but eager to please so grace is given for forgotten beverages. They didn't question the oversight and immediately went to work creating the missing drinks. The interior is playful and casually upbeat. Decor is fresh. Grab some napkins and enjoy!"
"I went for the regular glazed donut so that is all I am reviewing (this time). This has to be THE best glazed donut! This location was closed due to rebuild, but as soon as they reopened I had to go by and see if it was as good as I remembered; let's just say they did not disappoint. Would I recommend and will I return - MOST DEFINITELY!"
"Donutlicious is our ONLY place we go for donuts. They have a huge variety to choose from & every bite is fresh & packed with flavor with a lot of fun, specialty donuts. My absolute favorite donut is the peanut butter and jelly donut that is available only on Saturday and Sunday. My go to donuts are the blueberry glazed cake donut, cotton candy donut and the old fashioned (sour cream) donut. They also carry a nice selection of kolaches in baby, mama, and papa sizes."
"I love this place! I am so glad that I stopped here to try the donuts and kolaches! The chicken kolache is amazing! The people in the store are also very friendly. I usually go here around lunch time and I always get a freebie every time!"

Now I knew Snowflake Donuts was popular for their Boudain eggrolls and their MardiGras donut but y'all...... the new Item... the Cafe Tuk Kok aka Iced Coffee is the most delicious thing. I think I'm obsessed! Get one today and everyday! YummmEverything is always great here but that Iced Coffee, best in Klein, Texas!

I drive by Golden Donuts all the time and I have seen all of the positive reviews on Yelp. My fellow Pearland Yelpers seem to love this spot! During Winter Storm Uri (aka snowpocalypse) last year, I tried to buy some donuts, but the line was literally to the door. Everyone had the same idea as me. No running water, no electricity...the solution must be donuts! Unfortunately the line was so long and was moving so slowly, that I gave up and left. Fast forward a year later, and I found myself stopping here after my dental appointment because the best thing to eat after getting your teeth cleaned is sugar! There was only one customer in front of me. Before I could decide on what I wanted, another employee came out to take my order so there was basically no wait. A complete 180 from last time. I ordered a glaze twist and a chocolate iced donut. Those are kind of my standard donuts when I don't know what to order. Like many donut shops they also sell kolaches and breakfast tacos. There was a sign on the door for brisket kolaches. I'm not big on kolaches, but I love brisket so I may need to try them the next time I go. I'm also curious to try the breakfast tacos. I find that some of the best breakfast tacos are made at donut shops. Not sure why that is...The donuts are delicious!! They were very soft and tasty. The chocolate icing on the donut melted in my mouth. The glazed twist was so good, especially when I heated it up. I tried so hard not to stuff my face, but I failed. Oh well, at least I supported small business!

I came here to try out the kolache's. I always get the sausage, cheese, and jalapeño kolache. I tried out the jumbo and the regular size. The best part of their kolache is the bread. I don't know why, but I still like my Shipleys kolache better. Maybe the sausage or cheese at Shipleys is more flavorful?I really like how the lady cleans the screen with an alcohol swab after each person uses it. Also, they have hand sanitizer available to use.

I love to stop by Mr Donut on my way to work. They have the best donuts and kolaches. They also have plenty of drinks to choose from! It is a very clean little store and the workers are always so kind. They always throw in a couple donut holes which makes me happy. Support your local donut shop and come get some breakfast treats at Mr Donut!

Really cute place with a bit of everything. I found the ice cream a little overpriced, but what isn't these days? The donuts, however, were exquisite. Especially if you catch them when they are still warm. Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. It's good to have an ice cream place near by.

"This place just opened near my dwelling area. On first impressions, the place looks very clean food looks fresh and attractive. I came in and had to wait for about 3 mins or so, not bad. I ordered the Bacon, Egg and Cheese Croissant. I've tried the croissant at two other places before and I have to say that this one is the second best. Additionally just took a coffee to make sure I have something to wash my breakfast down with. Donuts look really good, very photogenic. Light glaze on top and round. Definitely have to come back to give them a try. Overall, pretty good and good price."
"F***ing LOVE this place and all the owners! Everyone is super sweet always going above and beyond. I've frequent this location on and off (moved away for a few years) for over a decade now! Everything they offer is made fresh DAILY! 10/10 recommend. I'm otw now"
"Yummy Carmel Frappes, scrumptious boudain kolaches, savory chorizo breakfast tacos and sweet treats. Unbeatable prices. My vehicle won't allow me to pass by the shop without a stop. It's a must on Monday mornings!"
"Fantastic customer service! Nothing like a friendly, welcoming attitude in the morning. The donuts are fluffy and really good and so are the plain and jalapeño kolaches! This was my first time visiting this place and I'll definitely be back."
"Great service! Someone is always up front to greet you. They have different sized kolaches which is nice. Good variety of donuts as well. They have several drink choices as well and prices are great."
"I ordered some red velvet donuts from here the other day and oh my goodness they were amazing! I'm very particular about where I get donuts from. This place definitely exceeded my expectations! The donuts were fresh and I received amazing customer service. I definitely recommend this place!"
"This doughnut place is the best in the area. I have tried their boudin, jalapeno sausage and cheese, regular sausage and cheese, and chapple hill sausage and cheese. They were all great. The chapple hill kolache is texas sized. The best thing about it is Mrs. Ann. Mrs. Ann will make your morning brighter, she always has a smile and warm greeting."
"Love this place! Been coming for over a year & never been let down. Amazing homemade taste. Better than Shipley's!"
"LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE. They have the absolute best old fashioned donuts I've ever had in Houston. The kolaches have never let me down and I love that they have 2 sizes so you can always get a small one if you don't want a big one. Their croissants are also delicious. They're so flaky and yummy. Would definitely recommend this place. The prices are so low it's incredible and they have a massive drink selection. They almost never run out of anything which is great so even if you're running late, chances are they'll still have what you want."
"Love Ma Donuts! I come here sometimes on my way to work. Their breakfast is really cheap compared to other breakfast spots. I love their bacon egg & cheese croissant sandwich and their boudain kolaches. Their donuts are pretty light and fluffy. So delicious and perfect and I'm not a big fan of sweets. The Owner is really sweet and nice and this place can get a little busy sometimes. Depends on the time you come in. But worth it."
"It is donuts....I mean not really hard to mess them up. The breakfast tacos are good as well as the kolaches. No complaints but they don't stand out for any reason either. The cashier was nice."
"giant donut holes and kolaches...cheap and tasty! they aren't open all day, think they close around 2. Well worth checking out if you live in the area and don't want to drive the distance to a Shipley's...you really don't have to! these sweet treats hit the spot..."
"Great selection of donuts and kolaches. Everything is delicious but my go-to's are the sausage, cheese, and jalapeño or the Chappell Hill. The bread is really soft and fluffy. They also have meatless options, which most places don't offer! What makes this shop my favorite is the service. The owners are so friendly and greet you with enthusiasm. The wife has the most positive and uplifting energy; she always makes sure to ask how my day is going. Sometimes I stop by even when I'm not craving anything. It's the kind of establishment where you truly feel like a valued customer. The owners recently had their first baby and have another one on the way. Support small, family-run businesses and check this place out for your morning fix!"
"You have tons of donut options in this area, but amongst the large pool of places, a few stand out - Donut licous included. On display you will find a vast array of toppings covering their donuts. Some of the creations are the bomb.com. Personally, I like the crème brûlée. It is so good!! I also like the boudin kolache. My son? Well he likes everything!!Love this place."
"This place didn't have any reviews so I wasn't even sure it was open but after a quick call I headed over. Kolaches were good, people were friendly, coffee was fresh if not exceptional. Losing one star because the selection wasn't super expansive."
"Why 5 stars? Because this might be the best donut and kolache spot in the area. --- --- ---I recently discovered Malenee when I was browsing Yelp in Conroe and was intrigued to visit. I realize that there are approximately 585 donut and kolache shops per square mile around here, but for some reason, I was really drawn to the idea of wanting to come here. Sadly, the first time I came by, they were closed because of a family emergency, but a few days later I came back and am so glad I did.First off, one thing I love is that they have many different types of kolaches, biscuits and tacos to choose from. I intended to order a little light breakfast of maybe two kolaches and two donuts, but I ended up spending nearly $30 because I couldn't help but try so many different things!I ended up loving everything. The biscuits were particularly awesome. I'm not sure what kind of breading they use, but it's unique. It's almost as if they top has a super thin layer of caramelized sugar on it, but without it being sweet. The texture of the bacon and cheese biscuit was primo. I was stuffed but couldn't help finishing that, because I loved it so much. The donuts were also great and a bit unique. Shipley's started the trend of having really airy donuts, which have now been copied by virtually all other donut shops. But these had a little bit more girth to them, while keeping that great "Shipley's-type" flavor. I also appreciated the drive-thru. It just makes life easier. After one visit, this will officially be my go-to donut/kolache spot in the future - I'm so glad I discovered it!"
"I stopped by this place for a coffee and kolache, but I was pleasantly surprised to get a lot more than I bargained for. The owner is a very friendly Vietnamese man and he will offer to warm up your kolache for you. There are plenty of cold drink options ranging from milk to juice to sodas. I got a frosted donut too and it was delicious! The only thing that would make this local donut shop better is if they put Vietnamese coffee on the menu!"
"Kolache heaven! Amazingly fresh and tasty donuts! Melt-in-your-mouth croissants! As Arnold said, "I'll be back." Whenever I visit my son's house, we always make a run to the donut shop for breakfast. I don't think it's only because I'm treating to breakfast, or that I am always hungry for kolaches , I think it is that everybody actually loves this restaurant. You can go in and order a number of delicious bread products and they will all melt in your mouth. Don't wait too long to eat them because they are all extremely warm and fresh as soon as you order them and they are exceptionally delicious!"
"Really fresh and tasty donuts and kolaches. I'm sometimes disappointed in dinne places that get hyped up, but not here. It lives up to the hype. Yum!!"
"Decided to try something new. Wow! These people blow shipleys out of the water!!! Their kolaches are so tasty!! And their wrapped breakfast sausage is just as good!!! Great customer service!! And clean place with a great selection of stuff!! Only bad thing is if your in the mood for an afternoon snack... their closed!! They close at 1pm!!!"
