I've been a customer of Coplin's since I could ride a bike, before they had a yelp page, and the only thing that has changed is the jar you put money in and the prices. Being from the neighborhood, I used to pay $3 for a bear "back in the day" when my parents gave me the money and asked me to get some! The honey is delicious and local-you can't beat that-not to mention the beautiful acreage it sits on :)

The Honey is always delicious! I've been a customer for about 5 yrs now. It is a self serve counter that works on the honor system. They even have a calculator in case you need it. It's outside so when you drive up the glass shelving has whatever size you might need from small to large. The pricing is right out front where the honey is. It the price changes they will make the notable changes on their price stand.

I came upon this place while visiting Frobergs Farm. I called the number listed to clarify directions as I'm not from Alvin and did not realize this was connected to someone's house. I didn't want to just drive up someone's driveway without clarifying. The woman was very rude on the phone. Needless to say, they did not get our business that day.

I noticed Coplin's honey at Froberg's Farm, and decided to do my own research on it. I found out you can go directly to the source and buy it for cheaper. Basically you drive up to someone's house, and on the side there is a detached garage, under which there is a glass case with honey in it. There is a jar where you put your money in, and you take the size honey you want. It's an honor system. I come here every few weeks when I run out. Fresh, local honey is really good for taste and for allergies. Support local.
