"I have been here twice, first time was in the evening, and second time was early as soon as the restaurant opened. Both visits we received excellent customer service. The entire staff is very pleasant and helpful. The ambiance is great, no tacky decor which is a plus. An abundance of seating which is really nice. As for the food, I have tried: Samosa chaat (not a fan, was served cold and a little too watered down), karak chai (excellent), mango dragon fruit lemonade (delicious), and the chicken sliders (presentation was picture perfect and taste was great. I understand the sizing of a slider, but I just felt like the actual piece of chicken to bun ratio was a little off. It didn't ruin anything for me, just something I noticed). I will definitely continue to be a repeat customer. I hope this franchise thrives in Houston and hopefully makes its way to other big cities like NY."
"I was in town visiting family and decided to stop here for breakfast!! I must say what a pleasant surprise. If you are a NY bagel fan you can get your fix here. Yes, the owners are native New Yorkers! I got the lox and it was pretty darn tasty. Make sure you do not leave out the scallion cream cheese! It is not to be missed. I also tried a latte which was just alright. I think the winner here is their food. The restaurant is HUGE and great for bringing loved ones. It did get pretty busy in there and loud. So, if a bustling diner feel is not your thing maybe go elsewhere. Phenomenal service as well. I will say I did like it enough to return. I sat around the espresso bar solo and had a lovely time chatting it up with the baristas."

First of all, this place is incredibly clean. This could've been because it was only morning and everything and been wiped down and I think I was the first person there, regardless, I ordered the omelette, which comes with the option of three items with your choice of cheese, potatoes, and biscuit. I had them made mine with swiss (they didn't have mozzarella) bacon, tomatoes, and onions, and a side of gravy. The omelette was made with cheddar instead of Swiss and the onions could have been could a little longer, but this meal actually was enough for 2 people. Everything was so delicious and just what my cube mate and I needed to start our day! P.S. the food did not make it in time for a photo"
"We came here for a late night dinner. The service was nice. The speed was quick. The food was great, and great portions. Lots of parking in the front. The only downside is to bring cash to avoid added card tax."
"I know I've rated this place before, but I feel inclined to do so again. My experience here is always consistent - and that experience is pure awesomeness. I tried the biscoff donut today - and all I can say is OMG. The folks here are so nice and attentive - you can't go wrong with anything you get!"
"Market Skillet hash $13.49 - 2 eggs your way on top of potatoes with mushrooms, zucchini, shallots, red peppers, baby spinach, melted Mozzarella and herbed Goat cheese. Comes with toast and fruit. I got this bc i like the market veggie sandwich. Hash was pretty good. Lots of potatoes and veggies. Huge serving so I took half to go.Gingerbread spiced donut holes $5.99 - (holiday menu) comes with caramel toffee sauce & creme anglaise. These were good. Crispy on the outside, soft and cakey on the inside. Not too sweet. Came with about 12-13 donut holes so there were plenty. Took some to go.Sunny Seoul hash $13.99 - (holiday menu) shaved seared pork with kimchi, cheese, eggs, gochujang aioli. Bf enjoyed it,he struggled to finish it all. Regular coffee $3.69 - good typical house coffee.Kind of loud. Not sure if it's bc it's so open. Also I feel like the prices have increased. They used to be pretty reasonable, but now you're spending $14 for an entree (inflation everywhere though). Portions are generous at least."
"Barnabys is going to give you the bang for your buck. Great portions. Fresh food. Solid seasoning. I love going here."
"Stopped in for their soup and sandwich deal. Their sandwiches and soups at Toasted Yolk are so good. I was so hungry I forgot to take a photo of my meal."
"Had brunch here. Service was really good considering they were packed on a sunday with a 25-30 wait time on food. Everybody loves brunch. They weren't totally packed but pretty busy. The drinks were good. I had a laloma (a blood orange paloma) and a regular paloma, both were tasty. They did have flavored mimosas and flights which I didn't try. But it's offered. My friend had the expression martini and said that was also good. My friend had the chicken sandwich and said that was pretty good. I had the brisket plate and the beignets. Both were very good. I like how they have various menu items to try. I'll definitely go back to try more."
"Great little hole in the wall with good food and good service. I ordered the Western Omelette and it was so big, I could only eat half. My husband had the skillet and he polished it off as well. Great portions with friendly staff. We will be back."
"The food was really delicious! I had the pork chop, egg, hash browns, grits, and added a waffle which was incredibly fluffy and flavorful. I didn't do the powdered sugar, but the cinnamon and butter I believe was a game changer."
"Great food and plenty of it! Really most plates can be split! Everything is made plate size and taste great! My favorite is the loaded potato with meat toppings! Really is two potatoes put together. For breakfast, the pancakes are the size of the plate. I love going back to try different things. Tons of options on the menu!"

The Keema Foodles is keema curry mixed with linguine and topped with fried garnishes and fresh chopped green onions. It reminded me of a slightly spicy beef taco mixed with linguine. It comes in a pint container that resembles an ice cream container. The masala chai (medium sweet) was okay. I think I prefer the saffron tea. If the place is slightly busy, the staff may ask you to wait to get your order in as they're busy fulfilling the previous orders.

I haven't had any of the dine-in food but walking inside made me instantly reminisce the city vibes of Manhattan, a shiny, classy version of Katz's. I was scouring the Yelp search for some of the best cheesecake/cakes in Houston proper and came upon a couple outstanding reviews of K&Z's cheesecakes. During my 4 month stay in Houston, I've definitely bought slice after slice on many occasions, it's THAT good! Extremely rich, decadent and LARGE portions of NY style cheesecake! I still dream about cheesecake here. And I've also gifted slices to acquaintances during our stay in Htown. Overwhelming rave responses! It's definitely one of the top two cheesecake establishments in my book. You can't go wrong with ANY of the different flavors they offer here. I must have had every version, so pick and choose according to personal preferences. Man, I wish I had the luxury to actually sit down and have a proper meal here. I'm scrolling through the pictures and mouth watering for some matzo ball soup or those crisp looking pickles!!

Pretty busy place. Has good food but still looking for menudo that is amazing on this side of town. Also looking for good breakfast tacos here was mediocre. Service was fast. Menudo didn't have homni and lacked some taste . Parking is tight but you can park across the street there is a church there . There is a guy that helps and greets at the door

First off Darron was amazing. Well attentive and very funny. I travel a lot, previously worked restaurant industry as well. If we had more people like Darron things could be much better in our restaurant industry. We need more servers that are approachable and personable like Darron. Darron understands that his job isn't just about people ordering and bringing food. Darron and his fellow restaurant peers take a-lot of crap from people who are always gonna find a way to be unsatisfied and miserable. But yet they continue to come to work everyday and please everyone as much as they can. People need to understand that the restaurant industry are humans and are need to be treated more like humans. We pay people to rap dumb, no meaning, downgrading/demoralizing lyrics. We pay actors to be on a screen and have no care in the world if you didn't like it, we pay athletes to play sports but could care less if we went to their game. but we won't tip the people that literally brought food to our table, filled out cups, clean up, and ensure you have the best experience so you can come back. Let's wake up and support the people that need it Have a great day and thank you Darron and the staff at First Watch in Suga

Went here with my coworkers for lunch the other day. Tasty with a wide variety of options for everyone. We had everything from the hamburger steak, chicken pesto salad sandwich. Cake was great and on special for pride month. The server kept the drinks full. The sodas aren't fountains but canned. The chips with the sandwich were good and I believe homemade. Overall the space is a tad crowed so it's more of a diner feel. The tables aren't overly big so don't over order.

This was our first time there today there was about a 15 minute wait before we were able to get a table but they're prior of Yelp so next time I can make it online before getting there. Our waitress was Desiree she was outstanding she was friendly. She's made sure we what we needed, she very sweet young lady. The food came out in a timely manner. It tasted excellent nice size portions. My only negative it was a little expensive for brunch $38 for two people with no drinks. The restaurant was. larger than we expected. It was really attractive and very appealing to the eyes.We will go back occasionally because it's a little high

"Breakfast tacos are good but it'll cost ya 75cents for additional ingredients including cheese and beans. By the time you add all your favs you're likely paying $5 bucks for a taco which are made to order and I especially like the crispy, crunch of their bacon. Enjoy!"
"Welcome to The Woodlands Local Table!.... They Nailed It!Have to say ... one of the most versatile and cool restaurants in town. Owners, Managers and Team who sincerely care about their establishment and your experience. Perfect Southern and welcoming indoor and outdoor seating areas for guests of all ages... along with a few yard games and conversation/chilling areas to take it all in. An overall design that's cool, light, open and airy that exudes... stay and enjoy.... And, a diverse and yummalicious menu to please anyone.Ps - how many places have you been to where the Staff actually enjoys being there? Well.. at Local Table... they sure do and it makes a huge difference"
"Traditional flavors in a variety of drinks with snacks to match! Fresh baked pastries, savory bites and even shrimp chips are available. My ube latte was perfect!"
"First time here. Great food, and the service was fairly good. Loved their seasonal chilaquiles dish, and the pineapple upside down pancake was amazing."
"Looking for a new place to Brunch?Saturday to Sundays 8 to 3pm you can find some delicious appetizers such as overnight rolled oats with Greek yogurt and cacao nibs or even tartine with avocadoe cilantro pumpkin seed pesto and pepitas. They even have delicious The Breakfast hand tossed pizza's with goat cheese and spinach and 3 sunny eggs."
"The owner, Juan, is from New York and worked as a chef there which shows in his skills and passion for the business. He does brisk breakfast business offering pastries, breakfast tacos (the green sauce is the best in the world), lox and bagels and Mexicans omelets as well as gourmet coffee and teas. The lunch offering are a wide variety of deli sandwiches, tacos, baked potatoes and daily specials (grilled Tilapia, roasted chicken breast, Swiss enchiladas, meat lasagna and chicken quesadillas) are excellent. His home made soups are all delicious."
"I guess I'm so behind on reviews, but this one really stands out. The food here is amazing. I've had brunch here and I've had lunch here. They were both top-notch. The customer service is great, the food is great, the views are great.Food: the first time I stopped here was for brunch and we absolutely loved our meal. The second time I stopped here I got the gumbo and let me tell you what the gumbo from here is top-notch. I got to give it to them because they are doing something very special with their gumbo on the menu. It said it was award-winning and I assume that was some sort of market now I have to believe they won some sort of award because that's a very great gumbo. I would come back for that dish. I can't wait to try more things off their menu. The customer service is great as well. Everyone that works here is very friendly and they do a great job and getting your food out at a timely manner. I'll be back soon."
"While in Houston visiting, I looked for several restaurants that I thought would be good to try that wouldn't disappoint. Upper Kirby Bistro was one that didn't come close to disappointing. They scored high marks.I met with a friend in the mid morning before the brunch crowd proper showed up. I started with a watermelon mimosa that was not only refreshing, but was also just a plus for something different. For starters, we shared the biscuits with gravy. Although they were delicious, there was a faint smoky flavor to them that I detected. There wasn't enough sausage in the gravy to add any kind of smoke, so I was curious as to what it was that made the gravy smoky. My friend ordered the fried catfish and grits, and she ate it all in silence and without complaint. That was all I needed to know that the catfish and grits were delicious. I had oxtails with grits and greens. My inner Jamaican loved the oxtails and my inner Southern totally approved of the grits and flavorful greens.Service is top. I can't say enough about how pleasant our server was. One thing to note is that parking in the area may be come a bit much. Having arrived for a 10:15 AM seating, I could easily get a spot across the street. However, by the time we were leaving around noon, the crowd was coming in and parking along the street was lessening. They have valet, though, but warning just in case you decide to go late in the day when the restaurant packs out. I know I will go back when I'm in town again. It will still be for the earliest seating."
"Loved Citizens of Montrose! My hubby and I enjoyed our brunch here. We got their Barbie Bowl, blueberry pancakes, and their salmon avocado toast. For drinks we got their turmeric latte and dragon fruit mimosa. Everything we ordered was very fresh-tasting and so colorful! Our faves were their pancakes and Barbie Bowl. The pancakes were the fluffiest ever and the Barbie Bowl was very refreshing and not overly sweet. Service was very attentive and friendly. The interior lets in a lot of natural lighting. There's a small shared parking lot to the side. Will definitely return to try their espresso martini happy hour!"
"Oh Torchy's, I was so excited to welcome you to Pearland, but you have let me down today. I'm not mad, I'm disappointed *spoken in my best motherly tone*I made a point to wait a few weeks to let the hype calm down before ordering from this location. I placed an order on the app this morning for one taco (The Wrangler, my favorite). The default order time is 15 minutes. I placed the order without any issues. About 7 minutes in, the status of the order was still in progress. Perfect. At the 15 minute mark, my order was ready. Awesome! I was going to be in and out and on my way. Well what should have been a quick stop turned into an hour ordeal. When I arrived, there were not any orders in the pick up area. There were a few people waiting. I overheard a few people say they had been waiting 20-30 minutes. I figured that they're still working out the kinks since it's a new location. I patiently waited and watched the people who were there before me finally get their orders. After about 30 minutes, I noticed people who came in after me left before me. I eventually went to the cashier to check on the order. The young lady was able to look up my order in the system and radio to the kitchen to expedite my order. In the meantime, people were picking up large orders while I was still waiting on one taco. After about another 10 minutes, I asked an employee who had just dropped off food about my order and they said they would expedite it again. A few minutes later, I asked another employee who dropped off more orders to check on it. There were some apologies about the wait, but still no taco. At some point, an employee asked me my name and said that my order showed as ready and that someone must have picked it up. I have no idea if someone took my food, if they accidentally gave my food to someone else, or if they completely dropped the ball and missed my order. All I know is that the entire time I was waiting, they never called my name and I arrived right when the order was supposed to be ready.Eventually a young man said they found the ticket and said they were making my taco. I normally don't ask for extras but I was irritated and annoyed so I asked him for some chips and queso and to speak to the manager (which I never do). The manager came out immediately and apologized. I then asked the manager for chips and queso or something extra for the hour long wait. He said yes without hesitation. When they finally brought my food out, the manager apologized again and said he refunded me. He said it should take about an hour for the refund to show, but it hasn't yet. I'm guessing it will be a day or two before I get the refund. I was happy that he did that, as I wasn't expecting it. I'm kind of annoyed that I had to ask for extra food, but I'm happy that they owned the mistake and tried to make it right. Y'all know I'm a service person. Had it not been for the service recovery, this would straight up be a 1-star review. My food was tasty (as always), but I missed a meeting waiting an hour for one taco. Torchy's, your tacos may be "damn good" but the speed of your service isn't. Fix it please, and do better."
"I recently started working in the area and I have to say it is definitely dangerous being so close to Soliz. My usual go tos are the Nash and the Darlene. I also like their Barbacoa and menudo that they have only on weekends. The tortillas are so soft and tasty. They also don't skimp on the filling. I don't know what it is as the ingredients are so simple but it's just a tasty breakfast taco! The service is also always top notch. I usually call in my order ahead of time in fear of a wait but their phone lines were down the other day (I still had to go because I already promised my coworkers Soliz so I couldn't let them down) and my food was ready in less than 10 min!"
"Delicious restaurant in the neighborhood. Everything was so good, can't believe it's been around since the 60s. Loved their cheese enchiladas and breakfast!"
"Came here over the weekend to grab some food with the family and I was very impressed by this place. The food was absolutely delicious! I ordered the appetizer steak quesadilla as my meal. It was very tasty and extremely generous portions. They really filled the quesadilla up with steak, the steak was very tender which is always a plus.My husband ordered the BLTA chicken club sandwich with a side of sweet potato wedge fries. He loved his entire meal. He's not normally a fan of sweet potato fries but he gave it a shot and was not disappointed, they were some of the best we'd ever had. My daughter got the Mascarpone French Toast. This was the star of the table! She finished the entire plate (which she never does). Me and my hubby both took a bite and we all agreed these were some of the best french toast we've ever had! The sauce was perfection and the toast was nice and fluffy. Service was great and the atmosphere was nice and chill, which was a great getaway from all the hustle from the mall. Would definitely come back if we were in the area again."
"Tacos! Open late! Good hot sauce! This was near our Air BnB in Houston and very convenient. All we wanted was a la cart tacos and this place fit the bill. They did mix up the number of each type that we ordered, minus one star for that, but we liked them all and didn't make an issue."
"Absolutely MY Favorite local place to go get breakfast! Went today with Hubby! We walked in got a booth in a snap, our waitress Bianca came and brought menus and Gave us amazing Service! Prompt and Friendly at this location as always! My fav is Build your own! Always a Joy and locals are Great!!"
"This was my first time there as I was craving French toast and my brother suggested it. You order at the counter, are given a number and food is brought to you. Most of the seating is stools and there a few chairs with a back support. There is outdoor seating too. I ordered a small Americano with a splash of half and half. The coffee is smooth. The brown sugar was hard to pour. I told an employee. She took the sugar dispenser to the back and brought it back. It didn't work. I had to put white sugar which is in envelopes. The French toast is beautifully presented with powdered sugar, fruit and a side of syrup. I ordered with no whip cream. The toast could have been more moist. But this place has great reviews and I'd like to go back and try other items."
"I'm mildly obsessed with First Watch's banana granola pancake. So as more First Watch locations pop up ITL, this glorious pancake becomes more and more accessible for me. This location is on Kirby near The Original Chop Shop (another goodie). There's patio seating, plenty of parking, and takeout/to-go options. But dine in, so you can enjoy unlimited coffee and a warm breakfast/brunch. My go-to at FW is always start with the pancake (yes, we share it as an appie), followed by their avo toast, smoke salmon bennie, and then quinoa bowl. Other than that, I haven't strayed too far from these dishes. Their juices are also worth ordering. Service is always good. Not a single complaint, y'all."
"I want to say it was very delicious!!! The waitress was very nice and attentive. The food was of quality and made to order. It wasn't busy at all when we came so it literally took 10 minutes to get our order. Restroom and restaurant in general are very clean. I will definitely recommend and come again when I'm in the area. Thank you for the great service !"
"American dining done right!!! I'm not the one to do American breakfast unless I'm really craving it today I decided to try this spot. And it was best decision of my day.I tried the iced latte with hazelnut I was sat near the bar area so the server promptly came to take my order she approached being kind and professional.I was debating between different options the sandwiches and omelets looked amazing and also the pancakes were whispering my name too bad I didn't go with a plus one so we could share different meals; I ordered the cowboy scramble and that dish was HUGE! 2 biscuits with gravy and scrambled eggs with bacon and ham with a side of fruit and hashbrown casserole. Everything tasted delicious and was fast in my table. Would have to come back to try the rest of the menu.********WHATEVER YOU ORDER MAKE SURE YOU GET A SIDE OF HASHBROWN CASSEROLE IT WAS SO CHEESY LIKE A 90s ROM-COM (But actually good) *******"
