One stop shop for everything I need, when I need it.This isn't a "staples" grocery store for the average Dwight.Lots of product available in bulk. Not the most convenient location to get in, park and out of.Connected next door is their own restaurant; will be back to try that as it smelled delicious!Necessary addition to the area with a good response so far.

This place is a gold mine of you are looking for spices and the prices are good. If you like incense they also have a wide variety at good prices. Generally is was a nice clean store with friendly customer service. If you like to support local businesses this is one I definitely recommend checking out.

My maternal grandpa's surname is a Sanskrit name. However, I am still very much an outsider. From an outsider perspective, this store is quite a bit different from other South Asian grocers I've been to in Houston. The array inside should not have surprised me since part of the store's name is 'Bazaar'! The non-food items here do not feel like after thoughts, nor hasty choices to appease complainers, unlike other places I've checked out. The food selection looks on the solid side to me as well. It's much more similar to shops I frequented in Brooklyn and Manhattan. I even noticed an item I only knew I could get at Bklyn's famed ParkSlope Food Co-op. Heck, so lucky this store is right off 59, in Stafford, even walking distance from my aunt and a few cousins.I've been looking for a giant jar of pickled bitter melon, bc the grocer I had in mind has either closed down altogether, or moved. I never knew what the name of the store was! Here, there is only the one small-sized jar, like at four other stores I sought. When I asked the guy why this is so, he replied, "This item moves slow." So, Yelpers, if you enjoy pickle and bittermelon, pls request the BIG jar at any store. I'm still going to come here again and again for my kitchen forays, and some non-food items. It reminded me of the Indo-Pak blocks of stores I enjoyed in my last Bklyn neighborhood. I use to get some desserts there for myself and the financial firm I worked for at the time. Even got the big boss, a former football player for the Alabama Crimson Tide, into South Asian desserts. Though he was well-known to be very food conservative, he'd rush to the break room when I brought these in :D

I love this place. It was such a fun grocery store to go to with my husband as I got to see all the foods he loved eating growing up. The Indo/Pakistani staples are sure to please those who want to make an Aga's type dish at home. We ended buying tons of candy from his youth, paneer, Pakola, and other items to try at the house. The cashier was friendly and patient with me as I asked for more candy recommendations. (Having taking my husband to places like La Michoacana and Fiesta, so he could taste my childhood candy it was fun to do the same with him.) I got some good recs, he added more stuff and we left happy. I think the prices are reasonable, but they do specialize in Indo/Pakistani food, so if you're into nothing but American food, you won't find your food staples here. However, what the have is worth checking out, especially investing in a few stock items, like the paneer, which I had trouble finding in other places.

This place has no respect and courtesy for customers. Went in to buy rice with 1 year old and check out took more than 25 mins even though there was another counter open but the person said "sorry you have to chk out at other line". Was so frustrated finally left the store without buying. Will never go again.

This is the best grocery store to find Indian groceries! Very helpful staff and fair prices (lower than other stores). We can find products in bulk and best fresh chapati. Parking available easily. Store was very clean and friendly staff.
