We found ourselves up by Northlake Mall after going to pick up some Eyeglasses when I saw House of Wings. I had been eyeing it when I first dropped off my glasses as well. We decided to give it a shot and I ordered some Hot Wings with half teriyaki and half hot along with a side order of Jalapeno Poppers. For a place called House of Wings the wings were the worst thing we ordred unfortunately they were really small overcrispified wings. However the poppers were outstanding and my friend really liked his sandwich. Dont base your entire visit on the wings here despite the name, supplement your order with something else on the menu.

This is a little mom and pop, or in this case, brother and sister shop. They have an excellent selection of wing flavors. For each 10 wings you can sample a different flavor. One of the things I love about these wings is that they are not all... Gloopy. Although they are flavorful, they are not swimming in sauce and are good and crispy underneath.I love the small business feel, it's close to home, and that the lady behind the counter always remembers my name.

First thing that peaked my interest about House of Wings: They have lots of different flavors. They offer a true variety --- none of that boring mild-medium-kinda hot BS that make up the selections of most wing places. They have some really unique choices, such as spicy-maple flavored wings. You can sample each sauce before you order, which helps ease the uncertainty of those "strange" flavors. The place is small yet very clean and the food was well cooked. My only complaint was that I wish the wings were a bit saucier. For those who do not like wings swimming in sauce, this is the place for you. Depending on which direction you are driving, the parking lot can be a real pain in the ass to get in, but it is well worth the drive.

You can't give less than 1 star or I would have. We have eaten here several times but this will be the last. Service has always been slow but today it took 40 minutes to get our wings. When we asked why we got an attitude and were told everything had to be breaded. When asked why the 4 people who came in after us got their food first and they had items that had to be breaded as well the cashier rolled her eyes at us and then dismissed us.To Many places in ATL that serve better food to put up with this kind of attitude. The wings are decent on a good day but mediocre on most... Only went this time because friends drug me there. Won't be back.

This place used to be a Blimpies, and before that a Baskin Robbins. Both of which i loved. So now its a wing joint eh? Well first of all, its usually empty when i pass by, and now i know why. I got half a dozen of 4 kinds of wings, to make sure i got a good feel for the place. Garlic-parmesean, lemon pepper, hot, and honey bbq. They were all completely overcooked, while i do like crispy on the outside, they were also dry and crispy on the inside. They were also all very small wings, not the meaty ones im used to JoeyDs or TacoMac. And furthermore, they were mostly flavorless. The lemon pepper were sadly the best and they sucked. Lemon pepper wings were just fried and had lemon pepper seasoning sprinkled on (like McCormicks/etc what youd buy at the store), the garlic parmesean were just tasteless, the hot was just texas pete with butter barely touched with the sauce, and the honey bbq was just kraft bbq sauce barely brushed on. I enjoy wings that arent super sauced most of the time, but the fact they were so over done really killed any good chicken flavor i would have gotten. On the UP side... not too pricey and they were nice. Now, im usually one to order out of the ordinary things on a menu, but when i go to a burger joint i dont order a salad, i order a burger, so i expected a wings place to at least be on point with their wings, and they werent. Maybe their poppers and sandwiches are good but... who cares. If you want some good meaty not-saucy wings i'd say go to JoeyDs, or somewhere that isnt this place.
