Hot Breads Bakers & Confectioners

I haven't been back to Hot Bread for a while since I usually go to the sister store in Sugarland called Red Berries Bakery. They sell identical products except the store is older and not as functional as for customers like me. If course, this was during Covid-19 pandemic. Nothing is normal anymore. I walked in to the store I immediately saw the older generation from Red Berries Bakery. I said, "I'm so happy to see you are well at this store. I went to your other store and didn't see you. I was a little concerned..." While other young ladies looking at me like I was crazy.Who cares. Got my khari and plum cake. And I'm outta here. I hope they turn on some lights. It was dark in there.

Love the cakes here! They are so soft, fluffy, and fresh. Flavors are subtle, but flavorful. Got the coffee, chocolate, mango, and dulce de leche. Got the chicken puff pastry too, was crispy and tasty!

My favorite places to stop and get a quick snack. I love the Chicken Chili pastries and juices. You can ask them to warm it up

I can't recommend this place enough! The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is AMAZING. We're huge fans and Hot Breads has become a mandatory stop when we're in Houston.

This place fully caters to the Indian bakery palette and also has plenty eggless options too, not that an particular about it, but mentioning it for the vegans.I got my regular- the plum cake, we got the big one, the $10 cake, and made it a chai cake evening and it disappeared in an instant so much that I could not even take a pic ... The other items I like here are the various cookies and the vegetable puff. They do make cakes on order and carry an assortment of breads for purchase too. Most people just drop in for a to go so the limited seating does not really cause a problem. The card payment is accepted for all purchases above $10.

Found a hair in my puffs. Very dirty environment. Won't go again. Very expensive as well.

Ordered an eggless pineapple cake and it's one of the worst cakes I have ever ate . The cake is int baked well and you you can feel the batter . The cake is super dense and inedible . Wouldn't never recommend this place for eggless cakes. I have ordered eggless pineapple cake from them before covid and never had any issue , so I know how it tastes and how it is .

Our favorite place for pastries and snack items. I had ordered their plum cake for my daughters communion party, they were super delicious. Excellent customer service. Please try their amazing cakes, they have a variety of cakes with good flavors. Highly recommend this place.
