I wish I had a place like this near my house. I didn't even know that pay-by-the-ounce places existed, and it's a dream come true for a beer lover! The pizza here can take a while and is passable, but that is great for a beer hall. I loved exploring all of the taps and picking out different things to try in whatever quantity I wanted! It's a lovely, open, bright space with some outside seating as well, which was perfect at various parts of the day. I think I came here every night of my 4 night stay in the area! The people working there were very friendly and helpful explaining how the whole thing worked. They even struck up conversations about my work and recognized the company. I'd be thrilled to have the opportunity to come here again.

Great concept. Self pour beer/cocktails/wine(4)/whisky(2). When I walked in, I was disappointed to discover that the kitchen closes at 9:30, but gave it a shot anyway. Beers start with light on the left and get progressively darker. 5 of the 13 I went through were out of stock. All were made locally in NC. Each was very unusual, though some went too far, in my opinion, but A for effort. Tobacco Wood's Benny's Wright was my favorite. A Belgian WibierPale wheat beer, made in Oxford, NC, with bitter orange, coriander and chamomile that all balanced out to make a really good beer. Flat Rock Cider Tropical Pineapple was really good, but a cider not beer. Service was great, as I did all the work. Fun in itself. Host explained the process very thoroughly. I was there at closing, and was pleased to see his attention to detail. For example, restocking the glasses on the shelf, is easy, but ensuring that the logo on each glass is facing outward, is unusual. Will definitely be back.

Fun place to try lots of different types of beer and a few wines. You're charged by the ounce so you can pour as much or as little as you'd like. Try many varieties without breaking your budget. Good food -we only had some appetizers. It's a big place with a variety of seating options.

We came here for trivia on Thursdays. It is a cool place and one of those places where you get a wristband and you pay by the ounce that you drink. They have beer, wine and premixed cocktails on tap and also have whiskey. They also have soft drinks and canned craft beers that you can purchase as well. They have pretty typical bar food menu items that were, really good. Our group tried a pizza, the pretzel bites, garlic bread, nachos, and mac and cheese bites. The pretzel and mac and cheese bites were my favorite. Trivia was fun but it was a little hard to hear unfortunately. The acoustics or microphone or both were a bit challenging, but fun nonetheless! Will definitely return!

This place is cute and bright inside upon entering. They had about 30 taps of beers, 5 cocktails, 2 wines and whisky on tap as well. It's pretty simple you get a wrist band to start your tab and go to the wall , tab your wrist band and pour your beer as it tracks your ounces. They also have a food menu, we got pizza it was ok. They did have a few board games to play as well. They're also a few sets of couches to sit on and relax. Only wish they had more ciders on tap. Also the price per ounces ranged from $.30 to $1.60. I'll have to check this place out again.

Finally had the chance to try Hoppy House and it did not disappoint. There was an overwhelming amount of options here. The staff is pleasant and welcoming. I tried mojito and it was decent. How it works: one obtains a wristband and scans it to get pours. Paying only what is poured. A nice hang-out spot with plenty of seating and games. I do recommend and will give it another try someday in the future.

Had a chance to visit this place when it first opened and was impressed. They have a lot of beer on tap. I think it's pretty cool to see they also have cocktails and liquor on tap which I think is pretty unique. The beer on tap is a pretty wide selection and organized well. When I went I got the veggie pizza and it was definitely a very good pizza. It took a while to come out but I believe it's because they just opened. I want to try the paneer pizza next time. The inside is spacious and modern. Staff are very friendly and will explain the process if you are new. Prices we're definitely on the higher end, especially for the cocktails and liquor but that is expected for those drinks. The beer was decently priced but if you start with foam from the tap it may not be worth it. Overall, definitely want to come back and try the other pizza and beers they have. Definitely check it out.

This place was a great surprise! Honestly we came because they were close by and the kitchen was open - not realizing what the experience really was LOL. So starting with the food - a really small menu but everything was really good. Favorites were the sliders and pizzas. On to what it's really about - the self serve alcohol - with over 60 choices of beer and cocktails all dispensed and charged by the ounce it's a great opportunity to try different things. Which we did. And then took an Uber home :-)

Stopped in for a few beers last weekend and we had a fun time! The beer wall is a nice change from your average tap house - you have a wristband and are charged by the ounce so it's possible to try a bunch of small pours & that's what I recommend with so many to choose from! They have apps and pizza as well as coctails and wine on tap. Fun spot with a colorful vibe and good service!

Where to begin? This place has the best Mac and cheese bites I've ever had! Get the pepper jack version- you won't regret it! The selection of drinks is amazing! Everyone can find what they want here- my husband loves beer and was happy. I love cocktails and wine and I was happy. The atmosphere is so great! It's trendy but not ostentatious. The staff couldn't be better. They were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. I cannot wait to go back!
