Hoots Wings by Hooters

I ordered online for pickup. The food was good but one of the employees needed an attitude adjustment after being asked for condiments. I also ordered a pint of bleu cheese which was missing, which I didn't know until it was too late.

The wings are super small, DO NOT ORDER FROMHERE. Order from the downtown wells street location. Huge difference in size

I've gone past this place several times over the years and not once have thought about going in it. I honestly question what's the whole point if the entire reason Hooters exists isn't here. It's akin to a FedEx that doesn't ship packages and instead only prints and attempts to actually sell the drinks in the minifridge next to the register. They only have chicken and seafood with two sandwiches available (fried or grilled chicken sandwich.) There's over 8 sauces or seasonings you can add as well.Even though the place was fairly empty you could tell they were getting a bunch of online orders since it took awhile to get my order out. The place is pricey for what it is. I felt like I walked into a physical AliExpress. They have a minimum order of 10 pieces of anything which sets you back at least $12. That doesn't include fries nor a drink which can be $4-$8 extra depending on if you get loaded fries. I got the Buffalo shrimp as well as some of their signature Daytona beach style wings which apparently are lightly fried then sauced before being grilled. So pretty much they cook them similarly to a steak. These wings also take a longer time to make. Just 10 wings, 10 shrimp, loaded fries and a fountain drink cost me $40.73! I keep staring at my receipt in disbelief...The buffalo shrimp are pathetically small. Apparently they are aware of this as they threw in a whopping extra two shrimp so that I would get six shrimp with each sauce. Not even buffalo. They really need to clarify on the menu that if you pick sauces then it just turns the order into a regular item even if the sauces are on the side. Everything was ok. The Daytona style definitely left the wings dry. There was no breading on them either which from the pictures I expected it. I don't believe the wings were sauced before being grilled either as it looks like they just dumped the sauce on them afterwards. The clue is the lemon pepper wings only having lemon pepper on top. The sauces are all pretty good except for the Daytona BBQ sauce which just tasted like a very mild, cheap BBQ sauce with no zest to it.The clientele doesn't help either. From ratchet to a bunch of mischievous, loud children you can tell this is not anywhere near an upscale place. Who would've thought Hoots is a hood favorite?Overall, this place is nowhere near worth it. It's way better than Wingstop, but falls short in a lot of areas. The menu needs to revamped as well as the prices. The cherry on top is them having a buy one get one free wing special that isn't advertised and not available on the digital order terminals (which I used.) Out of the dozens of people that entered Hoots while I was there...the manager only mentioned the special to a lady with a bunch of kids. The fact that this place has so much foot traffic is amazing, but hey Panda Express a few doors down is always packed as well so it seems clear the people in this area just don't know what good food is.

I'd rather eat dog food. The service is pretentious. The prices are too high for the trash food. Personally, I think the food is warmed up or left over from an actually legit Hooters location. And in this case it's genius as a business model and the perfect way to recycle trash. I ordered a 10 piece for my co-worker and it was the coldest driest shit I'd seen. But hopefully he enjoyed it. I'd never eaten here or would honestly, so this is just a warning to those who are interested.

Ordered 40 wings using their app and the food was made within the promised time. All the wings were hot and crispy. My favorite flavor was the honey Thai and I really enjoy the unbreaded wings. There are a few tables on the inside that I was able to eat at. The door kept opening as people were going in and out to pick up their orders. The staff was super nice and provided excellent service. Will definitely come back to pick up wings in the future.

I went in to be able to sit down and eat around lunch time. There were only two tables and then a high-stand thin counter available. The wait wasn't terrible even though there was only one person up front and then the cook in the back.The tenders tasted like they weren't completely done and for $7.99 (without tax), all 3 of the strips were considerably small. The french fries were a good amount and had some pretty good seasoning taste. Even the last tender (which was eaten a while later to give the tender time to finish cooking) wasn't a great taste. It came with one side sauce and there were (according to their online menu) a large abundance of choices.I'm glad I went, but won't be going back soon.

I ordered pick up through GrubHub today. We ordered a 20 piece boneless with medium sauce. The chicken was really nasty. We were both very disappointed, the chicken tasted like something that had been warmed up in a microwave several times. It did not seem fresh at all and definitely was not crispy. Also the sauce was very oily and just not good. The blue cheese was watered down, ranch was good though. Also the girl at the counter was very unfriendly. I walked in to get my order and she never said one word the entire time I was inside the restaurant, which is very strange. She literally handed me the bag and said absolutely nothing.

I'm annoyed , the food here is more than the regular hooters and the customer service is less than the reg hooters as well . Iv had a few errors on orders and I let it slide , but tonight I'm hungry and stopped paid 16$ for 12 baby shrimp and asked for curly fries they gv me the basket fries and they oily and hard Iv called the store for a hour and no answer . Next time I'm driving to hooters they usually get my order right and they answer the phone !!!

So ordered a blackened chicken sandwich - it was ok. Then ordered two orders of boneless wings with curly fries with two sides of blue cheese I got waffle fries - not cooked and the sides given was ranch . Not going back to this place. How hard is it to read an order from an Application Plus said a time food will be ready and still had to wait when picked up Rather just go pick up at hooters on Wells and drive the extra 7 minutes Order date 15 feb 2021 order now # 117051071

Food sub par and the customer services horrible. I placed a delivery order through hoots itself not ulber eats or anyrhing of the sort and hoots lied and said that it was delivered. I drove to hoots to inquire about my order and it was sitting there cold and lonely. The manager said it was a computer error and tried to make me still pay for delivery and tried giving me the food cold. No apology no anything. Never visiting again. I've given them plenty of times and it just isn't good. Zero stars.
