Combo A
a pile of fried food
I couldn't resist. Thought it went well with how you'll feel after eating at a scoop joint..

Denver Cantonese Cuisine - Happy Cafe Chinese RestauThe Taishan cuisine is really great! We ordered pickled fish, pork belly chicken, cold shredded chicken, cured meat clay pot rice, vermicelli pot, and cured meat cauliflower. The clay pot rice was huge, and the six of us skied for a day and packed it up to eat it again for two days! The pickled fish was sour and spicy, very similar to Sichuan cuisine! The other dishes were also very delicious, not too salty or too bland, just right!

This place is so good. The food is fresh and doesn't taste funky or have added oil. It's fairly cheap for the amount of food you're getting too.I've tried the Combo A twice- it comes with fried rice, sesame chicken, and whatever third side you want. I've tried the Mongolian beef and the shrimp broccolis (on two separate occasions) and have enjoyed both very much. Wasn't a big fan of the egg drop soup but still think the place stands at 5 stars. Crab wontons were good and come Ambience feels authentic, kind of like being back home eating food. And service was fast! I keep returning here so yes, I would recommend you check it out.

The food here is generally very fresh and tasty. I like their variety that they have and you can tell it must be pretty decent because there's always a line!

For about $2 a scoop, this place has the most fire Chinese food. There is normally a line, and it's worth the wait. Get the crab cheese wontons and I prefer the noodles over the fried rice. Literally cannot go wrong with whatever you select from their 10 or so options of meat/veg combo but my favs are Mongolian beef, black bean sauce beef and the broccoli. This place is a Federal staple!!! Closed on Tuesdays btw. Also attached to the gas station for lots of drink options :)

Made fresh, extremely reasonably priced. The sesame chicken and lemon chicken are too legit.

We have been ordering a lot of take out during COVID, and Hoong's Kitchen recently popped up on Doordash. The first time, the food was not all that fresh. We decided to give them a second chance, and we were so glad we did, because what we receive was fresh and amazing. As another reviewer mentioned, they are extremely similar to Panda Express, but at about half the cost. Very affordable, and quite tasty.

This place is tried to ripped off the people you know why ? They used all the cheap cheap vegetables and meats so they can make more profit out of it , besides all the people work there are never know how to be polite...

Is it the best Chinese food I've ever had? No. Is it the best "by the scoop" Chinese I have ever had? Absolutely, hands down. Their sesame chicken, orange chicken, chicken with black bean sauce and garlic chicken are especially good. Fried rice is better than any other "by the scoop" place I've had, but still pretty mediocre. Hot and Sour soup is excellent. Egg rolls are a bit below average. Cheese wontons are slightly above average. The fact that you have to pay 50 cents for sweet and sour, even if you buy egg rolls or wontons, is annoying. That would really be the only complaint. For the price, it's amazing.

Best Chinese food? No, but it's the best "per scoop" Chinese food I've had. I'd give it a solid 4.5, good quality, excellent value.
