Honor Cafe

My cousins invite me to breakfast and I had never been here before. My cousin is a veteran and this place is the coolest. I loved the place and how it's decked out in all kinds of memorabilia of so many soldiers. It just warmed my heart. The food was excellent and we had the sweetest waitress who was on her 3rd day and just so nice and kept making sure we had everything we needed. I can't wait to bring my veteran Dad here.

Honor Cafe - good for lunch Three of us had a business lunch at Honor Cafe on an early Monday afternoon. Most of the lunch crowd had cleared out, so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. I opted for the bbq brisket sandwich, which came with a large side of mac-n-cheese. The sandwich was served on a brioche roll. While it was tasty, I wouldn't say the brisket was exception. It was a decent lunch for a good price, served by friendly staff, at a place that is certainly supporting a great cause.

Only took me a day to come back and try the chicken and waffles This place is an awesome place the food is top tier can't stress that enough.Chicken and waffles: 9.7/10 lol I mean a lot of y'all's chicken and waffles just don't mesh it's either one or the other. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Our server Mike was the sweetest and the food was legitimately some of the best food I've had in a long, long time. The avocado toast was so flavorful and it's worth splurging on the smoked salmon! The chicken had a fantastic breading and was meant for the habanero jelly. The vanilla orange mascarpone was my favorite thing on either of our plates. That deliciousness on the waffles and with the syrup was heaven. Not overly sweet at all which makes you feel like you could eat it all day. So phenom. The ambiance makes you feel like you're in a veterans museum which is a really neat vibe. Can't wait to return for lunch or dinner!

Service has always been really good here, food is always good and the portion sizes have always been more than generous. Great breakfast place in the middle of town.

Food was good and filling. Of course you set a 32 oz bowl of Queso in front of me, I'm gonna be happy. Holy Large Portion Batman!! Chips were great too.What to do with the leftover 16 oz Queso? Pour it over the unusual deep fried grits that came with the shrimp, which came with tails on? Someone needs to let the kitchen know that I don't eat out to find shrimp as lazily prepared as I would at home.Service was very friendly and hospitable. I think waitresses should always wear bunny ears.Atmosphere was AWFUL. Remarkably bright lights radiated enough luminosity that I felt like I was in a dentist's chair, casting ghastly shadows across the faces of diners. Note to management The Light you use to illuminate military museum displays is not appealing while eating.

We were introduced to this place while visiting family. It's a great spot for breakfast but they serve lunch and dinner as well. The experience was great all around. It's like a museum with food service. Loved that it is a tribute to all our service members (men & women) of all military branches. (Thank you, is simply not enough). The food was tasty and the ambience was good. The menus are presented in a medical file which is unique and cool. The decor is made of various photos, memorabilia and items from all military branches. The honor potatoes are excellent as they were cooked just right and very flavorful. The French toast comes with sliced bananas and strawberries on top, making for a great presentation. Let's not forget the bacon: crispy goodness! Coffee was fresh & smooth and the service was excellent. If I lived here, I'd be a regular patron here. I bought a cute little corduroy tote bag that I can't wait to use. They have a multitude of patches for purchase as well. Thanks for a great experience and for honoring our military. It was heart warming as I'm a Navy mom and have many family members who have served in various branches. Thanks again.
