Everything on the Pooh-pooh platter was greasy. The jumbo shrimp fried rice had no vegetables but tasty. Ambiance was 0 but typical of the take out Chinese places in the AA neighborhoods. Hong Kong Decatur is more appropriate.

My cousin was in town and she wanted some Chinese food, not the "high brow" places in downtown Decatur but one of those old-school NY spots. Hong Kong is the closest place like that down here for me. Now I've been here a few times and it's been okay at best. This time around they missed the target. I ordered the Sweet and Sour Pork with fried rice. The rice tasted old, either it's been sitting around for a while or was yesterday's rice. the sauce for the sweet and sour pork was overly sweet and made it unbearable to eat. My cousin had the General Tso chicken. The rice for this was just as bad as mine and the chicken had a weird taste. This place has fallen way off and I have to take it off of my list.

This actually tastes almost authentically "New York" and might just be our new favorite neighborhood Chinese. We had the General Tso's Chicken, Roast Pork with Chinese Vegetables, Beef Fried Rice, House Special Soup, and Roast Pork Lo Mein. The portion sizes were very big for the price, we'll be eating leftovers for days! The subtotal for the food was around $50. I really enjoyed the House Special Soup which had loads of fresh vegetables (broccoli, bok choy, carrots, snow peas, mushrooms) and meats (roast pork, chicken, shrimp) in a chicken soup type clear broth. It was accompanied by a bag of fried wonton skins which tasted slightly bitter, like they had been fried in old oil. We didn't order it, but an egg roll arrived with the delivery order, so guessing they included that for free. The noodles in the lo mein had the perfect chew and the sauce was good, but included surprisingly little meat, especially considering the quantity of meat in the other dishes. But overall, still good, and will be ordering again.

I was at the barbershop nextdoor and saw a decent amount of traffic at this place so I decided to give it a try. I got Mongolian beef and mei fun, both were disappointing. The beef was chewy and the mei fun had about a half a cup of tan colored liquid in the container. It tasted like chicken broth. I've had mei fun at alot of different places and never seen it served drenched in broth. Some may like it but I won't be returning.

Absolutely disgusting. Our food had a grayish congealed liquid all around it, the shrimp egg roll had no shrimp, the boneless spare ribs were rubbery, and the rice was hard. Never going back here and don't know how this place got any positive reviews.
