Hong Kong Garden

I've been eating here since I was 5 years old. It was our neighborhood Chinese food spot. Decades later, I still drive one hour from my home to get their food. They still make the best shrimp fried rice I've ever eaten; scallions, bean sprouts, jumbo shrimp and perfectly cooked rice(not sticky or soft).The also cook in an open kitchen so you can watch them cook your food.

I've never seen a Chinese person buying food from a Chinese carry-out, which I find highly suspicious! ...could it be that fried chicken smothered in "General Tsa's" sauce isn't an authentic Chinese dish? Nonsense!The General Tsau's chicken at Hong Kong Garden was hot, greasy, and plentiful. The bill came to $9.64... but all we had was $9, so that's what we paid. I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to visit this restaurant, but it will suffice in a "Man, it's10:30 and I'm starved" pinch.

Many years I have been a customer. One of the best in the city. Good food, portions and cost. This place serves the community well.

This is my FAVORITE Chinese take out place! The food is good, the portions are more than generous and it is very budget friendly. I love every thing on the menu but I recommend the shrimp egg foo yong, Chinese ribs, shrimp fried rice, chicken wings, and the beef with broccoli and don't forget ur shrimp or spring rolls! Trust me u will NOT be disappointed!

0 stars if it were an option. The owners of this business stole my debit card info to buy crepe cakes for $108 a piece from Lady M confections. In total stole $261 from my account which Lady M refunded back after finding out it was a fraudulent transaction. I would not want to pay with any card info with this business! They used their real names and the address for their business on the delivery information! TOTAL SCAMMERS!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is what a Chinese takeout joint should be. Clean, friendly, quick, delicious and inexpensive, I am not from the area and got the pork with mixed vegetables and General Tso's Chicken for my kids. One bite and I knew they pay attention to their craft. if I am in that area again, I am definitely stopping by again.

I was looking for a restaurant to replace my family's go-to Chinese takeout (which has not reopened bc of Covid) and came across Hong Kong Garden. It's okay! Not bad not great, just okay. My search continues

Best Chinese Food in the city Okay!!!! The shrimp egg foo young is to die for... I have been going here for Chinese for over 15+ years. The food is always consistently and has never once changed!!
