Hong Kong Food Market

This grocery store is dirty. It's not necessarily messy, but it just feels really old. It's the main attraction at the Hong Kong City Mall. I feel like the prices here are pretty average. I was expecting good deals, but I didn't really see any. The store is very spacious. The inventory is probably through the roof. There is a security guy that just sits by the door. There was a lady giving samples of hot sauce with some noodles. Just outside the market, there are stores and carts that sell nail stuff and random ethnic trinkets. I did use the restroom in the back. They have a communal hand wash station with men stalls to the left and women stalls to the right.

Can find anything you want here, just need a lot of time. We wanted to eat, but my only negative is that the food court and most restaurants are not in English. We were going to the Crawfish Kitchen, but my told hubs I am in my Good Friday clothes and with not be eating crawfish. We went on to the Oceanera (sp) Restaurant and they had just closed. So, we headed back to The Woodlands for Services and can't remember if we ate. I was lucky to find a case for my phone, $15...too tired to barter and it is a nice case so I bought it. The lady helping me was super helpful and polite. This mall is huge, I wish we had time to go to the grocery store because I wanted my hubs to say "oh my word, it stinks". That would be frozen Durian. I have smelled the unfrozen in Singapore too many times. That is a stinky fruit I equate to the Corpse Flower.. We will have to come again for a grocery shopping experience. Fun time..

*Located inside Hong Kong City Mall. This place blew me away. I've been shopping at Asian grocery stores like 99Ranch and HMart for years but this felt like another level. Amazing variety here with a lot of products I wasn't familiar with. Btw, this place appears to be Vietnamese, not sure why it's called Hong Kong.Lots to explore here so carve out ample time. Great produce section, fish, meat, desserts, kitchenware (we bought some cool dragon bowls made in Japan), and so much more.VEGANS: Definitely not a vegan haven overall since they sell entire pig heads and bull penises (see photos) however they have a robust vegan food section. Frozen vegan lobster, shrimp, pork belly, fish, beef, and more (see photo). I'll definitely be back, particularly to stock up on snacks (mostly dried fish as well as my favorite shiitake mushroom crisps).

Food variety is awesome. The store is huge! You can sometimes find cheaper prices on certain items versus the American store.Customer service is tricky sometimes. There was a female worker that was extremely rude. You have to treat people with kindness regardless of how mean one can be.

This is the Hong Kong Food Market located inside of Hong Kong City Mall. This is our fav location of this grocery chain. The produce section is huge. Tons of fruits and veggies. Largest section of live potted plants for sale near the entrance also out of all the locations of Hong Kong food market we've been to. I like every location of this grocery chain. But this one is just awesome. It's in a great location with all sorts of other awesome stores near it in the same mall and plaza.

The Hong Kong Market shopping center is large and includes many small business stores. The main grocery store is massive and spacious.I like that the aisle signs not only list their items, but also include pictures of the items. You can find a wide variety of Asian produce as well as essential Vietnamese cooking ingredients. There are plenty of staff available to keep the store running.

This is a huge market+shopping stores place, there are multiple food's from around the world and also you can easy to find your favorite Vietnamese traditional fashion shop- Áo Dài-It's a lovely place to hang out with your friends and family members..

They put old basil into the package. This is so cheating. The old basil is rodent not fresh falling leaves.

I enjoy coming here whenever I'm in the Houston area. It always has what I'm looking for and for a cheap price. It's not the cleanest, but those are the best kinds of Asian market. They have a large selection of live seafood such as shellfish and fish. They'll even put the fish out of its misery when you buy a live fish. They also have a large meat section where they butcher you meats for you. I can spend a lot of time going through every aisle.The parking is huge. This large market is located within an even larger building where you'll find vendors and many other Asian stores and restaurants. The staff speaks limited English so if you're looking for something and pressing for time, perhaps Google it in Vietnamese and see if someone can help you. They also have a little area where they sell roast duck, char siu pork, and roast pork.

I was there buy few items but when I get home Look at the receipt I realize They changed me 2 times one item But Too far to come back So please check your ticket before you leave the store I told my friend She said they do the same to you Becareful
