This is such a great kept secret in the Decatur area. Located inside a shopping center near Lawrenceville Hwy and N. Druid Hills, this takeout restaurant offers the freshest and top quality Chinese food. They do offer seating with a few tables inside, but most people are there to take out their food.Wonton Soup- loaded with handmade wontons. LOADED. The broth is rich without an overabundance of salt. It has a nice flavor. The wontons are stuffed well and are very flavorful as well.The Mooshu chicken comes with lots of tender sliced cooked veggies in a light sauce. The pancakes that they are served with help wrap the food up nicely and then top it with the plum sauce for a nice finish.The roast pork lo mein was the winner though! My kids could not get enough of it.The owners of the establishment are super kind and it is so easy to order online or in person

This is a nice, speedy, friendly, no-ambiance takeout place for standard Americanized Chinese fare, but be forewarned: Check the contents of your order before leaving. A couple of times now I've left without checking and brought the food home, and only then did we discover that Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant forgot to include an item that we'd paid for. Granted, each time it's only been a small item left out of the order (such as the shrimp eggroll that was missing from pic related), but nothing for which it would have been worthwhile for me to drive all the way back to the restaurant to let them know. Everything else in this restaurant seems fine: decent prices for the area, generous-sized portions, fast and friendly service, and a health score of 100 (!) which has, sadly, become increasingly unusual for local restaurants. That being said, it's still a bit annoying and inconvenient to pay for something that they simply didn't put in the bag with the rest of the order. I usually consider leaving a small item or two out of someone's order to be nothing more than a minor oversight. Nonetheless, if it happens again with our next order, then we may have to consider crossing this restaurant off our "go to" list for takeout options.

This is delicious American Chinese food. The food always tastes fresh and they give you a ton of food for a good price. I've ordered the Singapore rice noodles, lo mein, general tso's chicken, chicken with garlic sauce, and veggie spring rolls. Everything tastes delicious! The veggie spring rolls were the surprising hit. Packed with delicious cabbage and always so crispy. I wished I lived here just so I could get this Chinese food!

It is great for take out. Fast and they will make it exactly as you ask. Inexpensive and consistently good food. The same guy is usually working the counter and he's very nice. The interior is bleh so don't plan to dine in. Also the lemonade is made from a mix so not great.

I'd been going to this place for years. I don't even live near this location so when I go it is a special trip. Last few times that I've went, it was just okay but this last time was the nail in the coffin . I won't go back. I kept going back giving them a chance but I'm good now. 1st I ordered online and when I arrived to pick up my order, everything was not in the bag. Ok. So when I arrived home, my wife's general tso was hard as if made hours ago. The spring rolls were greasy! So greasy! The boneless chickens that I bought were ok but they have skimped on the portion severely! Fine! The final straw was when I ate my wonton soup and it was rancid. I ate one and thought maybe it was off. Second one, couldn't even swallow, down the garbage disposal. Quality has went down severely over the years. I won't be returning.

I always love to come here although I haven't been here in a long time.I enjoyed the Crabmeat Rangoon and the Chicken fried rice.I will return again soon.

While visiting here, my wife and I ate here on thanksgiving. I was worried it wasn't going to be good but I was wrong. This is one of the best Chinese places I've ever had. Everything was good. We got the orange chicken, chicken fried rice, lo main and it was all great!! This place also gives you a ton of food. We made 3 meals out of it.

Food is fresh and delicious. Egg rolls delicious. Service is great and the young lady who takes care of the customers is always very friendly.

Very very good food. Best Mongolian beef I've veer had. The portion sizes are intense. I pretty much got 3 meals for the price of one. Service is fast and quick.100% would recommend

Food is incredibly good and portions are MASSIVE for the price. Service is pleasant and fast. I love coming here. Would recommend the Garlic Chicken Combination.
