Food was BOMB DIDDY! Tender rib tips with flavorful mouthfuls! Service was awesome! Was ready in 10mins for pickup! And ambiance was there. Cozy and friendly place with great customer service! Check 'em out!

I came here for two reasons: 1) Reputation and 2) it took forever to get our food from the place around the block whose owner attended an HBCU. I ordered tips and link.The tips were tender and meaty. However, they could have used some more flavor/rub. The link was good, but they gave it to me cut. I wish I had the whole link. The sauce just got an OK. Generous portion of food.CASH ONLY and the ATM inside there doesn't work. I can't really see going out of my way to come back, and the place is most definitely not better than the place on 75th Street owned by an A.K.A.

Mom and pop hole in the wall deliciousness bringing the heart and soul of the Southside to hungry mouths all over the city! Pick up and cash only, ATM in the establishment, you will not be disappointed. Restaurant opens at 11am and immediately starts bustling with patrons. Buckets don't come with fries or bread, but the combos do. Catering menu available, this family knows how to smoke meat and feed the masses. Featured on Chicago's best, and fellow critic Steve Dolinsky, CJ was awesome in helping us with our order. Neighborhood gem that's worth the trip over! Indulge in some of the best BBQ the city has to offer, no frills just amazing food.

This bbq was terrible.. no flavor at all. On top of that it was luke warm, the sauce was hotter than the ribs. 15 - 20 minute wait for luke warm food with no flavor.. never again..

9.50 is a bit much for this amount of a so-called small tip. If you gone downsize, downsize the prices.

Totally uncooperative. I tried like hell to order some food for delivery. I wanted to spend money for 8 starving humans at lunch. I called the night before and was assured there'd be no problem ordering the following day.Come daytime that wasn't the case."We don't deliver"."Can I use grubhub? Uber Eats? DoorDash?""We don't deliver".So, we called Alice's, and it was terrific.

My experience was terrible. The ribtips were cold extremely tough and very difficult to chew it was like I was chewing on rubber. Whats so discouraging is this business gave the customers good quality food when they were on the northside at western and fullerton. They didnt serve that mixed community of white, hispanic, polish etc the garbage they serve the black community on southside. Honey 1 doesnt seem to respect or value the hard working customers who support their business on the southside.The ribtips I was served today were not fit for a dog !! So to all the hard working customers like myself who have supported this business Im giving you a warning in advance honey 1 does not appreciate you or your business. If they did they would give customers QUALITY food and QUALITY service not cold tough tips you cant even eat or chew !! Do yourself a favor and spend your hardworking money where its appreciated this business dont give a f-ck about you. The food they serve tells it all !!

The food is always fresh and plenty, I wish they back on the northwest side again, truly miss this joint!
