I've never received a bad meal here, just the opposite and the service is excellent.Amanda E wrote a scaving review about her experience, my #1 question to her would be did you request to speak to the manager on the spot to address your concerns, I didn't think so you took it to the internet which really makes you look like a small person and damages a privately owed business.

I've had about everything they serve From The Bloomin' Onion To The Country Buffet or A Rib Eye Steak. From the former owner to the new owner. It's all great food with Wonderful staff that seem to enjoy what they are doing.

So unexpectedly we pulled off and found this amazing steak house near Roxboro NC. It was a few minutes before 5 pm no line. And the smell of fresh grilling steaks was in the air. Went in and got seated on short order. Our sever JoeEllen was epic amazing she knew everything about the menu and the restaurant and history. As someone who enjoys the history of the places I dine that was nice If I'm up this way again I'd stop. The food was great staff wonderful and it has a lot of charm.

We went with a group of 10 to celebrate a birthday. Plenty of parking! Once inside we were greeted, one of ladies in my group had made reservations and we were on time, the man stated they didn't have the table ready, the place wasn't busy at all. So I'm like hmmmm...Once seated, our waitress came around took drink orders and appetizers. She was very attentive with our party. Very good waitress. All of the sudden we had another lady said she was taking over our table, she was rude, told us to hurry up and order our food. She was a joke and needs to seriously work on her customer service skills. We ordered and when food arrived it was given to the wrong people, so everybody had different orders. It's was crazy. I ordered the filet, sweet potato, and mushrooms. OMG the filet was TERRIBLE!!! It wasn't even edible, literally gross! It look like a hunk a meat just thrown on the plate, tough as heck, no seasoning. The mushrooms were salty that they would definitely give you a heart attack at first bite, the potato was soft but had bad spots all in it, was not edible. This was by far one of the most horrible experience!!! I will NEVER go back here. Prices are HIGH, food disgusting!! The waitress charged a 20% she wasn't even worth the 20% as she was sorry as heck. Beyond horrible!!! DO NOT GO HERE! I REPEAT DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

My boyfriend and I tried this restaurant for the first time last weekend - after so many positive reviews from friends,family members, and coworkers, we HAD to give it a go! The salad bar was clean, and fully stocked... the best salad i've had in a very long time. My boyfriend said the steak was 10x better than texas roadhouse, and the shrimp was fried to perfection! Food was hot, drinks were cold, and the service was great! We walked away with a full stomach, and an entire chocolate chess pie to go! highly recommend, already planning a return visit! :)

Well the Homestead Steakhouse and Seafood Restaurant on the Frank Timberlake homeplace is at the top of its game. For a great many years, the restaurant and later on, the Timberlake Suite, has been the site of our biennial reunion.Last weekend was the first reunion we've had since new owner Tyler Faucette took over last fall. Our food and our service from Brooke, Hailey, and Cindy was exceptional!This restaurant is worth the drive! Great food every time we dine there. The salad bar is incredible And the seafood rocks

Mediocre food high pricesBuffet or nothing on Sunday so I chose nothing for a family gathering.

Disappointed on the Easter Sunday buffet, 1st time i got the buffet too. I was expecting something way more for the holiday for $18. It was a danish ham cut in half slices (i didnt eat) and some sort of turkey or chicken casserall yossed together, pleanty of vegetables, potatoes and eggs salad, mashed potatoes with no gravy! Peach cobbler and brown banana pudding, that was empty. Salad bar was nice as always and my friends ordered off the menu and it looked great, hard learn not to buy the buffet again. Service and ambience was good, but not busy at this time
