TLDR: Fresh, flavorful dishes. Pricy, but comparable to similar restaurants. Friendly, helpful employees. Difficult to find. Easy online ordering. Ample portions. I never would have noticed this restaurant if it wasn't recommended to me. The plaza is easy to find with ample parking. The actual restaurant was more difficult since the building isn't marked, at least as far as I could tell. There are three ways to enter with only one door marked with a small sign saying Homegrown Pizza on it. Even with the hidden entrance, they are clearly popular and I can see why. The food is delicious, fresh, and high quality. I especially enjoyed the jerk chicken pizza and Caesar salad. The Buffalo pizza would have been good if it wasn't so sweet. I'm not sure if this is their take on a Buffalo pizza or if they used the wrong sauce. It tasted more like bbq sauce. We also purchased a large pizza dough. Homegrown pizza seems well staffed and all the employees were focused and busy. Check your order before leaving and be prepared to wait longer. I was picking up at a busy time. The pizzas were ready but the salad wasn't. I liked that when everything was finished, the employee working the counter asked if I checked it before leaving. Rather than feeling rushed, she made sure I had the time and space to look through the order and confirm its accuracy. Overall, we enjoyed our meal here and recommend this restaurant to others!

Located really close to my daughters tennis lessons, we decided to go here afterwards. first impressions were not that great. it is in a building that looks like an office building. parking is in the back and front, and what looks like the entrance is on the side, it is not. it is just a balcony seating area, with no stair access. The entrance is through the building.when we arrived, the place was empty (this is at 7pm on a thursday night). My daughter ordered a hawaiian pizza and it looked pretty good. for a small (which is 10 inches) was a whopping $15.00! that's insane!I ordered a medium meat lovers pizza with vegan cheese. (this is what i typically get at other pizza locations), however this place charged me a FORTUNE for this pizza. first off, its a medium, not a large...secondly, if i knew that this pizza (only 14 inches vs a large at 16), was going to cost me more than $10-15, i would have gone somewhere else., maybe somewhere like blaze!this pizza cost me over $25 (i think the total of just mine was 28). Very disappointing, because with better pricing, this place would get more business...but with these prices, that may be very difficult. For me, I am not satisfied here, and will not be coming back

Hiding in a strange building that you would never expect to find a restaurant is this wonderful Holly Springs gem. We've dined here several times and it never disappoints. The wings are lean and crispy, just how I like them. My only complaint is that they don't allow you to order all flats (or all drums), but they were so good I didn't even care in the end. The Italian sub is good and the shoestring fries are amazing! They also have a good craft beer selection. Definitely recommend seeking this place out.

Great food and great service. New to the area and we are very happy that we found this gem. We've tried the pretzel bites, pizza, French dip, kids butter pasta, kids cheese burger and kids chicken tenders and we have all been very pleased with the food. The service is the best we have had since moving to the state.

The pizza was AMAZING! I had no idea this place was here and has BEEN HERE for years!Great service and a nice patio, we had calamari, fried pickles, pizza, pasta and calzone. It's inside an office building but actually has a great atmosphere!Definitely check it out!

Take-out at HG is easy and when we called to ask about curbside pickup, the employee quickly offered to bring our order out to us. We were able to pay over the phone curbside and someone came out for a signature and she was wearing a mask.I wasn't thrilled to find out at pickup that the potato salad I ordered was not available but they were able to add pasta salad while we waited. Not a big deal, I realize restaurants are getting back into the swing of things under a different landscape right now. The pasta salad was delicious and it was a generous serving. The avocado wrap was delicious and included the tomato basil wrap that I requested. We have been looking for a good takeout place to replace some of the restaurants we enjoyed before the pandemic and HG is looking like a good option for us. Rock on, HG.

The pizza I ordered was suppose to be hamburger, bacon and onion. The few onions it had were in one spot. Didn't have enough marinara sauce on it. Very little hamburger and bacon. Not what we got the last time we were there. For $15.00 plus tax I expect more. Not sure if I go back and eat there for a while.

Not only is the food always delicious here but the service is outstanding. Last night I placed an order on line and when I got there for some reason it had not completed on my end so they had never received my order. The owner (Michael) happened to be at the counter when I arrived and was very apologetic and offered to get the order made right away. I also wanted to add an item that wasn't on the menu and he very happily offered to make it and explained to the young lady taking my order that what I wanted is a lunch menu item (it was now dinner time) and showed her how to add it to the order. I thanked him and recognized them for their outstanding customer service. My order was ready super quick and while I waited I enjoyed a chat with the owner about how he just took ownership of this pizza shop a few months ago and lots of exciting new ideas he has for it. Great experience all around. Congratulations on this new adventure Michael ! You're doing great!! We'll be back again soon

Ordered a medium pepperoni pizza, 16 bucks is a little steep but I gave it a shot. It's alright/good, but the flavor is NOTHING to what it used to be. The previous management made the pizza so much better and had a distinct flavor in the dough that made me come back. Glad I tried it but I do miss the old homegrown pizza

Ordered an everybody's pizza and 8 count wings . I specially. Order for the wings to be crispy . 25 mins later stopped by to pick up order . Pizza was way over cooked had nickel size pepperoni on it . Never in my life have I had a pizza with that size pepperoni . Now as far as my crispy wings. Well they weren't . The skin was spongey and clearly not even close to crispy. The young lady behind the counter was very nice and offered to remake pizza , however I didn't have time for that. Just wished you could order take out and people cared if the order is right . Very disappointed. If I could give minus stars I would .
