Wow, these prices are stuck in the 90s!! The lunch specials start at $6.95. Food is really tasty and flavorful and I came away full. I just don't understand these Yelp reviews. I see an elderly Mom & Pop working hard and always concerned about the quality of their food. It's a beautiful thing. You can see that the locals are regulars and receive a warm welcome. I think it's a special place.

What can you expect from Chinese-American food? They're as quick as a mom-and-pop can be. Very decent prices and accurate "ready" times. I wouldn't drive for it, but it'll do if you're close.

the people who say they don't like this place are LYING! The food is absolutely amazing everything on the menu is to die for! My grandparents live right by the restaurant and every time me and my brother come to visit we will go out to dinner here because it's so good! The restaurant is well decorated and it's very clean! we absolutely love dining in! and we never have troubles carrying out as well! We love the people who work there! they get things done quickly. service is amazing they always get things out quickly and food never disappoints!

Best kept secret in the Woodlands. Hoi Yin offers great quality Chinese Food with a fast preparation time. I definitely enjoy their lunch specials for the large portion sizes and the traditional interior of the restaurant is cozy. Decided to try it out & now I'm a regular patron. Surprisingly good despite initial judgements.

Can't beat this place for consistency. Food is also very good and not overpriced!Portions are good size on lunch menu. You will not leave here hungry and broke!

We've been getting takeout from them for years. Always good! I can't think of any dish that has been bad.

This place is old/dated and could use a deep cleaning and a makeover. When I sat down noticed the floor was sticky as I moved my feet. With that said, the food is good, big portions and everything tasted fresh. Been here a few times and never had issue with the food.The few times I have ate here the waitresses are a couple older women with heavy accents but very friendly and they get the orders correct without writing anything down. If you want good Chinese food at a good price you won't go wrong coming here. Service is pretty fast.

I give it a 4 star. The Broccoli Beef is awesome here and with white rice and a good price.

So the food was bland, honestly tasted like frozen stir fry. Order the beef fried rice spicy no veggies (with no spice) and kung pao three meat delight (no shrimp, extra beef) which is twelve ninty-five just for it to be bland and a plate full of vegetables. The person I was with asked for mandrian spicy chicken and walnut shrimp just for the chicken to not have flavor or spice and guess what the walnut shrimp, you guessed it a tin pan full a vegetables and 5 shrimp, yes we counted, 4 since one fell. Totally disappointed to have had spent $40 plus dollars. The picture is the tin pan FILLED With veggies compared to meat that comes in it.

Cozy little place for some good Chinese food. Best General Tso chicken I've had in town. Good service. Egg rolls are good and the price is on point. Especially their lunch specials. Lots of good tasting food for the price. Egg drop soup is delicious.
