Hobson's Bar & Kitchen

Hobson's has pretty decent food and good drinks, and the kitchen is open late (until 2am) which is a rarity on Boston. The Blueberry Cobbler Shop and Third Rail drinks are particularly great. At the same time, it seems to be a restaurant cosplaying as a campaign ad which is a really weird environment. The restaurant is decked out in signs for an upcoming ballot question on tipping, and the servers all wear shirts saying that they don't support the ballot question (I had never heard of the proposal, so I asked the server their thoughts - they just said management told them to wear it). I'll probably come back after the election, but until then, I'd rather spend my money in a place that's a little less of a marketing campaign.

Great food great service and great vibes! Loved my salted Carmel espresso martini. The interior of the restaurant was very nice and there is parking at the restaurant.

Loved this place!! I had the bar steak which was amazing! Next time, I will ask for the blue cheese butter on the side so I can choose how much I want of its deliciousness. Nolan whipped up a fabulous dessert martini just for me and was simply delightful as my truly attentive bartender! I'm in the area weekly and Dan was so welcoming that I will be back!

The wings that are house smoked were delicious. We sat at the bar as per usual and really enjoyed Sheba, our bartender! She was full of personality and provided great service. Cool vibe - looking forward to coming back!

Amazing food! So glad to have a great restaurant in the heart of Allston serving some delicious food. Can't wait to come back and put Hobson's on a regular rotation. Shrimp sliders, wings and house rolls are my faves!

Thank you so much to Dan, T and all the wonderful staff for making our event today so fun! We did our annual 5k at artesian park and this was the perfect spot to enjoy with family and friends after. We ordered several pizzas, delicious chicken tenders and fries. The sangria and margaritas were a group favorite. We were also impressed with the family friendly atmosphere (including changing tables in the men's room!!) We will for sure be back next year! Sending best wishes to your new establishment!

A few of us went out on a rainy Saturday night. We decided to try Hobsons. One of us had already been there and enjoyed it. Great atmosphere, friendly service and awesome food and drinks. I ordered the salmon which was cooked perfectly. The buttery rolls that came with our meal are excellent. For a cocktail, I had Henry's Highball which was delicious. They had live music and a patio, which was closed due to the rain. This is just what we need in the area. I will define be returning!

Went for their Sunday brunch and the food was amazing! A few dishes were a little heavy on salt (hash browns) but the pancakes were amazing and fluffy and the breakfast burrito was super delish.
