Hoboken Cafe on Whitlock

We stopped in to Hoboken Café today for lunch. I've been here several times before and have never been disappointed. Today was an especially good visit. The food was on point. The meatballs are so good I never order anything else!My son noticed all the photos on the wall and was asking the owner some questions about his experiences. The friendly conversation really made our day. Clean tables, efficient service, friendly staff. Reminds me of home - and that's about the best compliment you can give!

Food: Fantastic! Everything was fresh and sandwiches are quite big, we should have shared. The bread is firmer so it didn't get all soggy, a real plus.Service: Friendly and patient, so many great options, it took us a minute to decide.Atmosphere: Busy, lots of hustle and bustle, but had a true cafe feel. Loved the picture menu.

This place is consistently good. I have eaten here countless times and never have had anything close to a bad meal. Johnny and his staff are also fantastic people. Everyone is so friendly and talkative. So glad we finally tried them! I've been meaning to come here for years. The meatball sub and prosciutto mozzarella sub are to die for. The bread is excellent and the ingredients are top notch. In house made mozzarella. Just so good. A real gem and great addition to this community on Whitlock next to Lidl. They're celebrating 10 years in business so come check them out or come back for more delicious Italian. Jersey style. The cannoli were a sweet finish to our meal. We will be coming back for the cheesecake and chicken parmigiana!Open Tuesday - Saturday 11-4pm!

Absolutely delicious! Authentic NJ fare. Mozzarella cheese is mad on-site as well as the bread. Wonderful!We had the meatball sub and a tuna salad and went back for a cheesecake. OMG Highly recommend this place.

Fresh, fresh, fresh!! My husband, originally from Boston, says it tastes like home. The chicken cutlet was lightly breaded and perfectly cooked. The mozzarella was better than any other store bought mozzarella we've ever tasted. The portion of meat on the sandwich of the day was generous. The chicken Milanese was big enough to split and still have some to take home. The pepperdew peppers are sweet then spice it up at the finish- I added them to the Milanese- yum!!! The dining room is clean, spacious & homey. The service was friendly and welcoming. The owner was sure to introduce himself. Everyone was just so friendly!! We loved it and we'll be back. Don't just go there- RUN!!

Take it from this Jersey Boy, this place is legit. I had a meeting in Marietta and was driving. I pulled up my dining companions, yelp and asked her where I should go for a great sandwich. She told me to head here. Ordered the Hoboken Sub, Hero, or Hoagie. Depending on where you are from and it was delicious. Had a short conversation with Johnny the Owner too. If you are in the neighborhood or passing thru, make sure you check out this place. Tell him Jeff the pasta guy sent you!

Charlie and Zach are fantastic!! Love the diner ambiance's great everybody loved their meal the meatball sub was incredible the cheese was fresh bread was fresh thank you for a great Lunch.

Delicious and fresh food! Variety of choices for each type of eater. Very friendly and fun service, even this southern girl says so!

Amazing place! The meatball sandwich is delicious! Fresh in house made mozzarella cheese on the sandwich. Can't be beat! The best, authentic cannoli I've had since Larchmont bakery in Union NJ. If you don't like their cannoli then you honestly don't know what they're supposed to taste like. Love this place! I'll be back!
