For a last meal during my visit to Seattle, Hiroshi's did not disappoint. While poke bowls in the bay can cost upwards of $15 for the smallest size, this place had me sold on both portion and quality. There were plenty of options to choose from the fish and marinades they were in to the toppings and fillers. Fish not prepared properly can make you feel funny which is not great for air travel, but I felt perfectly fine and full of good food as I flew back to the Oakland. Everything was well flavored and all the ingredients went together without anything overpowered. Service is straightforward and they make sure the restaurant isn't too crowded by dealing with one party/group at a time. This is a takeout restaurant so pretty casual and somewhere I hope crosses my path again one day.

Hiroshi's is a very casual, place with no indoor seating. Super satisfied with the service and the food. Their fish tastes fresh and they give substantial portion sizes. They weigh their portions so you know you're getting consistent serving sizes.

Solid poke bowl with generous portions! If you get one thing here, get the original tuna poke. It was SO good - definitely some of the best tuna I've had. I'm not sure how it compares to Hawaii, but I'd assume it's something similar. The inside is quite dim and it's takeout only, but you order in a line and choose what you want to fill your bowl with. I got brown rice and spinach as the base, tuna and lomi lomi salmon, and plenty of toppings. The Japanese sauce was also quite good. I didn't think the salmon was that special and the rice was a little mushy, but all the toppings were delicious. It was quite pricey but the portions are really generous - it could definitely last me 2 meals if I wanted to save it. If you need a quick, relatively healthy, and reliable meal then this is a great spot to go to.

Hiroshi's has always been a staple - it's conveniently close to home and the food has always been fresh. Fast forward to today where I was severely disappointed. 1. They have started weighing their rice and poke. No big deal on my end, but the rice to fish ratio was meh. 2. Instead of a scoop of toppings (I like my toppings) it was a minuscule tiny spoon of each...one bite's worth, no joke. Look at the photos lol. Each topping, like crab salad for example, the entire "scoop" was equal to one bite on my fork. For the price; this place is no longer worth it. Even the mac salad was a teeny-tiny scoop. My last time here was not even but a month or two ago, so something has changed in the short time frame. I get that food prices have risen everywhere...pretty much every poke place is roughly $13.99 for a 2 protein bowl...but everywhere else you get a fair amount of toppings. Still a good amount of food, but I used to be able to get nearly 2 meals out of each bowl. Not so much any more. I had to go home and put on more of my own toppings. What gives Hiroshi's?!?!

This is a decent spot for poke if you're in the University District area and craving poke. They're a great plus for students in the area because the portions are huge and the price is relatively inexpensive.Taste-wise, it wasn't the best poke bowl that I've had. The flavors were okay, but not amazing. However, the staff are so friendly and it's definitely a great that they're an option for poke in the neighborhood.

This poke was sooo good and you get so much for the price ($11.99 for 1 protein, $13.99 for 2) with unlimited toppings We got original and Hawaiian poke... The original is a sweet soy sauce and perfect if you like a hint of sweetness in your poke, and the Hawaiian is a creamy spicy mayo base with fish roe in it. All the ingredients are fresh and so yummy!Instagram - @joangela.eats

Hiroshi's Poke is like a tropical breeze in a bowl. From the moment we stepped in, the friendly staff and the ambience already set the perfect tone for a delightful and refreshing healthy meal. We got the Maui Bowl and Wakiki Bowl. The Maui Bowl was a refreshing fusion of flavors, with the original tuna poke and lomi salmon poke blending harmoniously over a bed of fluffy sushi rice. As for the Waikiki Bowl, it was a true taste of Hawaii. The lomi salmon poke and Hawaiian tuna poke were a match made in seafood heaven. The sushi rice provided a satisfying base, while the edamame and lemon wedge elevated each bite. The edamame added a delightful crunch while the lemon provided just the right amount of zing. Both bowls were a feast for our senses, with each ingredient playing its part in creating a marriage of flavors. The macaroni salad on the side was creamy, comforting, and the perfect complement to the poke. Cheers to the attention to detail from the freshness of the fish to the perfectly cooked sushi rice. Every bite was a burst of tropical flavors that left us dreaming of sunny beaches and swaying palm trees. This place is definitely a must-visit for anyone craving a taste of the islands without leaving the city.

Hands down the best poke place in the Greater Seattle area. Probably have been here 5 times just this past month. The staff here are always very kind, the fish is fresh, and they have a huge variety of toppings to choose from. They also ask if you want to add mac salad, which is a MUST!!It's currently take out only, but if the weather's nice, I always like to head down to Gas Works Park (~30min walk/20min bus ride) and eat my bowl there.
